Great news for all the gangsters and gamers! We've just released a major quality of life update for GUN GODZ on both Windows & Mac with many bug fixes, gamepad support, rebindable controls, and a proper settings menu!
Some of you might know that the game has been in a bit of an unplayable state ever since Windows 8 came out (why did they have to do that?), so we're very happy to put those broken years behind us!
Fixes and changes include:
The game works on newer operating systems again.
You can now aim while shooting. (I know right?)
Gamepad support.
Settings menu, with settings for sound/music volume, screen shake, mouse sensitivity and gamepad deadzone.
Rebindable controls.
Steam Cloud is enabled cross-platform.
Fixed the YUNG VENUZ achievement.
A pause menu.
Game no longer crashes when alt-tabbing.
Middleware update that fixes other some rare edge case bugs.
We needed to do something for ourselves too so there's a new icon for the game.
Big thanks to Juju Adams and Fred Wood for their tech work, Grayson Evans for the beautiful art for the update, and shoutout to the O.G.'s Paul Veer, Jukio Kallio, and Doseone for helping bring Gun Godz to life!
