New Weapons & Mechanics and lots more!
Level Selection & Resuming
You no-longer have to start every game from the beginning. As you progress, you'll unlock areas that you can resume play from. When you die, you'll be able to re-try the current area without restarting.
Weapons

A new system for choosing and unlocking weapons has been added.
As you start the game, you'll be able to choose 4 weapons.
The first time you play update 3, you'll have 4 weapons unlocked (Sidearm, Justifier, Widowmaker, & Chainsaw).
As you play, you'll find wooden crates. Breaking open a crate will unlock the weapon inside and you'll be able to choose it going forward.
4 more guns have been added.
Super Weapons
The super weapon system has been changed.

Super weapons are picked at weapon selection time and unlocked just like normal weapons.
Special ammo is available to charge the super weapons. Once they're charged, you can activate them at any time.
The MENU button will activate the super weapon.

New Weapons & Mechanics and lots more!
Level Selection & Resuming
You no-longer have to start every game from the beginning. As you progress, you'll unlock areas that you can resume play from. When you die, you'll be able to re-try the current area without restarting.
Weapons

A new system for choosing and unlocking weapons has been added.
As you start the game, you'll be able to choose 4 weapons.

Once you make it up the stairs, be prepared for a new challenge. An evil undead creature has arisen. To defeat her, you'll need to stay active and alert!
Weapons

The sidearm sights glow!
Weapon aiming should feel a bit better now.
Recoil on all guns has been adjusted. (reduced)
The menu button opens a UI to adjust the angle of your guns. Use the touchpad with the menu up to make the changes. These changes persist across sessions.
The chainsaw has been re-introduced and is now available on stage 2. Grab it and start cutting zombies!
General

Lighting and explosions updated.
New audio effects added.

We’re happy to announce Armed Against the Undead - Update 1 is ready now. This update brings some great changes that make the game look and feel dramatically better. Changes Environment The level 1 environment has been re-built to give a real feeling of a zombie apocalypse. Light
We’re happy to announce Armed Against the Undead - Update 1 is ready now.
This update brings some great changes that make the game look and feel dramatically better.
Changes
Environment

The level 1 environment has been re-built to give a real feeling of a zombie apocalypse.
Lighting, fog, and everything else have been redone.
The transitions along the first level have been changed to keep you more immersed.
The left side of the map has been opened up, but be warned, it’s scary and difficult.
Weapons

You can now hold 2 weapons per hand. Use the Trackpad to switch between them.
All weapons have had their damage, range, reload, and ammo updated.
Weapons now have a recoil effect, this varies for each one.
Shotguns do a real spread shot and can take out multiple zombies with one shot.
The sights on each gun are all properly aligned.
Weapon audio levels and effects have been adjusted.
Added - Heavy Machine Gun
Added - Revolver
Added - Shotgun
General

Zombie animations have been updated.
Zombies have gained some new skills.
A boss encounter has been added
