We have just released a brand new patch for Dumb Ways to Build on Steam, implementing a range of bug fixes, including instances of players not taking fall damage, issues inviting friends in a cross-platform lobby, and more. The full set of patch notes can be found below.

Performance Updates
Holstered tools and idle animation improvements to reduce network issues.
Ragdoll animation improvements after throwing or dropping a player.
Animation improvements to the fans in ‘Drain Strain’ to reduce network issues.
Improvements to Room Code generation to eliminate region-specific character issues.
On launch, the game will now detect PC hardware and specifications to automatically adjust graphics settings. Changing settings manually will override this.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where duplicate Room Codes could be generated.
Fixed an issue that allowed special characters such as !@# to be generated in room codes.
Fixed an issue where a player will not take fall damage if they are dropped off (not thrown) off an edge.
Fixed an issue preventing players from accessing the ‘Invite Friends’ menu while inside a cross-platform lobby.
Fixed an issue where players could hold Sewer Slimes and Piranhas to use as a platform to boost and lift other players.
Removed Inflatable Duck exploit allowing players to “fly”.
Fixed an issue where the first job in Hotel Hapless will fail to complete if the host of the session disconnects from the lobby.
Fixed an issue where the Crane keeps moving if an object on the button of the pad is destroyed.
Fixed an issue where players could receive Lobby Invites while in screens where invites could not be accepted.
Fixed the framerate issue caused by having an Oculus virtual microphone selected as the microphone.
Fixed an issue where duplex speaker/mics would not show up as an option when choosing the microphone.
Fixed an issue where the Steam EULA pop up would sometimes appear mid-game.
