We're thrilled to announce that Super Arcade Football is out of early access! It's been a long journey, and we'd like to thank all SAF fans - both old and new - for their continued support and feedback. In this update we've fixed a few bugs and polished the game's features.

Story Mode Follow Martin as he does everything he can to save his favourite club, Balarm F.C., from bankruptcy. You might encounter a few interesting characters along the way.
Modifiers Do you want the goals to be bigger, or the pitch to be covered in mud, or meteors to fall from the sky?! (Almost) anything is possible with the vast range of modifiers included in Super Arcade Football.
2-Player Online Multiplayer Play against a friend, or random opponent, over the internet.
4-Player Local Multiplayer Play with up to 3 friends on your sofa at home.
Full Gamepad Support Super Arcade Football supports an array of controllers - the game is best experienced on gamepad.
Custom Tournaments Play the league, knockout, or mixed format tournament of your dreams.
Soundtrack By Barry Leitch Renowned composer Barry Leitch (Top Gear SNES, Horizon Chase Turbo, Lotus Turbo Challenge 2) has produced a unique soundtrack specifically for Super Arcade Football!
Tactic Management And Substitutions Manage your tactics to be more offensive or defensive depending on how the game's going. You can also make substitutions if one of your players gets injured or isn't performing well.
Over the course of this week the developers will be queuing for multiplayer matches, so hop online and if you're lucky you can play against one of us! Once again we'd like to thank the players for helping us get SAF over the finish line, we hope you like the game as much as we do.

We've put a lot of new content in this release and also improved many aspects of the gameplay.
The new additions are:

5 different Types of Referees (each with some subtle differences in behaviour)
Weather (random / clear / rain / snow)
New Preset Tournaments
New Pitch Variations for Indoor and Ice
This release is a major step forward towards the finished game and we could have not gotten this far without your precious feedback.

It's been a few weeks since the last update and we've not been resting on our laurels.
We've got a ton of new features for you to enjoy.
I'm happy to announce that we've added support for injuries. So make sure you don't get tackled too much or your players might be taken out.
We've also added the following optional modifiers:

Nets (small / regular / large)
Injuries (on / off)
Game Speed (slow / regular / fast)
Sleepy Keeper (on / off)
Looser Ball (on / off)
Oil (on / off)
Mud (on / off)
Turbo Objects (on / off)
You can now come up with some crazy combinations! Many of those modifiers can now be found on the preset tournaments as well.
Last but not least, there is now a vast selection of women's teams available (I'm very happy with this inclusion, highly requested by my two daughters).
We've also made many changes to the gameplay, to make the game more challenging and fun.

Happy New Year everyone,
We're happy to kick off 2021 with a massive update for your favourite early access football game on Steam.
Here's what's new:

Team Management You can now change tactic and formation before or during a match.
Custom and Preset Tournaments The game now includes support for leagues, knockouts and mixed tournaments. Have fun competing in one of the 18 preset tournaments or create your own. Select play from the main menu and then choose between quick match, preset or custom tournaments.
New Teams We've also added a lot of new national and club teams and improved gameplay and AI. There is still work to do (e.g. support for injuries) and parts of the UI are still a bit rough. Nevertheless, we're excited to share this version with you and we can't wait to get your feedback.
