BALANCING
[REBALANCED in v1.1.1 - Hotfix 3] Following user feedback, Easy Mode will be well... easier. Combat damage output from enemies has been reduced.

[FIXED in v1.1.1 - Hotfix 3] Fixed bug where there were no ambush options available to parties level 24-25.

[IMPROVED in v1.1.1 - Hotfix 3] Visuals for the Stalker Prestige Class have been improved with final character art.

We hope you had a very nice holiday season! We’re happy to report that the whole ManaVoid Dev Team has just returned to the studio this morning, fully recharged from our short vacation and ready to tackle new and fun challenges in the upcoming year!
Even though we were out-of-office for a few weeks, our team was still actively monitoring Forums and gathering community feedback. Many thanks to everyone getting involved in the discussions, it’s always a pleasure to hear from you!
In that spirit, we wanted to mark this back-to-work day with a small update to fix some late-game bugs that were reported by community members over the holidays.

One of our community members was kind enough to provide us with an important bug-report about an issue introduced with the last 1.1 patch.
One thing led to another and we discovered more potential bugs while fixing the first one! We fixed everything and rolled out this quick HotFix (v.1.1.1) - it is already live as you read these lines, just make sure to update Steam + restart the game. ːsteamhappyː
All v.1.0 / v.1.1 save games are still compatible! (Although we still recommend you start a new game if your save dates back to v.1.0, in order to make sure you receive all v.1.1 fixes.)

One of our community members was kind enough to provide us with an important bug-report about an issue introduced with the last 1.1 patch.
One thing led to another and we discovered more potential bugs while fixing the first one! We fixed everything and rolled out this quick HotFix (v.1.1.1) - it is already live as you read these lines, just make sure to update Steam + restart the game. ːsteamhappyː

We’re coming up on the end of our first week of full release and we couldn’t be happier! The game was featured on Steam’s top banner and we were amongst the most popular new releases for a few days.
A sincere THANK YOU to everyone who’ve purchased the game, given us feedback and left us a review, it really helps our little four man studio to keep going and motivates us to make the best games possible for you all! ːsteamhappyː
Today’s patch adds new content, new bug fixes and more. Those who’ve been with us for a while know how we like to react to feedback as quickly as possible to make the game as good as it can be for our players.
Although previous saves still work fine, we strongly recommend that players START A NEW GAME to make sure all the fixes and improvements listed below are applied.
Without further ado, here are this week’s (almost) complete patch notes:
New Content!
[ADDED in v.1.1] New Community Created Prestige Class: The Fevered Paladin! The fervor of the Fevered Paladin gives strength to his fiery devotion! Spending time listening to the gods has caused this zealot to seek vengeance on those who would question his faith.
[ADDED in v.1.1] Game Difficulty: Nightmare Mode Many of you have been quick to figure out the game’s many mechanics and have been asking us to make an even harder mode. If you can manage to beat the game on ‘Hard’, you will be able to unlock ‘Nightmare Mode’ where enemy agencies gain more fame and enemies hit even harder! Good luck…
[ADDED in v.1.1] Mini-Boss Dialogues and Skins We’ve added little dialogue sequences before each of our mini-bosses, just to give a bit more ‘Hmpf’ to the story and context before fighting them! They also now have a unique look to make them stand out.
Performance Improvements!
[OPTIMIZED in v.1.1] Roster and Items Display Performance Improved! There was a bit of lag when looking at a big roster or an inventory with many items, this has been improved.
Other Improvements / Balance / Bug Fixes
[IMPROVED in v.1.1] New Adventurer Visuals We’ve added enhanced visuals for most of our basic classes, because some of them were due for a makeover! Let us know how you like the new skins!
[CORRECTED in v.1.1] Fixed Typos galore With the amount of text in the game and our native language being french, this was bound to happen. Luckily, people in the community have been sharing the typos they found and we were able to fix a ton of them rather quickly!
[ADDED in v.1.1] Simulated Combat Difficulty We realized that the Simulated Combat in the game didn’t scale well with the difficulty setting. This has been fixed, prepare to have a more difficult time on hard and nightmare mode folks!
[FIXED in v.1.1] Cheat Codes Issues It took about an hour for people to find the Cheat Codes for the game (*Sigh* we thought we were being clever too…) and those who had spaces couldn’t be entered correctly. This has been fixed.
[FIXED in v.1.1] Random Encounter Bug One of our Random Encounters was causing a fatal error, this has been fixed.
[FIXED in v.1.1] Combat Bugs with unique characters Fixed various animator potential issues with some unique enemies.

Today marks the official release of Epic Manager after more than two years of development following its successful Kickstarter campaign, back in November of 2014.
We are very happy to deliver to you the feature complete experience of Epic Manager!
The past two years have been absolutely amazing for us. With the support of thousands of players so far, over a thousand Kickstarter backers, and great friends and families, we made it. The game we were so passionate about, the concept we wanted to play but could not because it simply did not exist is now a reality! We are infinitely grateful to everyone that made this possible.
So it’s with great pleasure that we are now sharing Epic Manager with the rest of the world by releasing it officially on this day, just in time for the Holidays.
It’s unreal to look back at all the hard work, the innumerable hours, the anxiety, and the joys that went into making this game. We are humbled by how much we learned while developing this title and have a newfound respect for every game developer out there.
Those of you who followed our progression during the last few months know it, but we are very reactive and we always read all comments and answer questions. Even if the game is feature complete, we will keep monitoring the forums, update the game, and support it should any issues come up.
Thanks again, now go explore the realm of Astraeus and, try your luck at becoming the Epic Manager!
Today's official Full Release comes with Patch v.1.0 with tons of new content, balance changes, bug fixes and other cool improvements! ːsteamhappyː
Due to major changes brought by this update, pre-1.0 save files will no longer be compatible with this version. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
New and Updated Content!
[ADDED in v.1.0] Added 23 Unique Items to each of the game’s bosses with Unique sprites and effects!
[ADDED in v.1.0] Added Final Boss Music Track (will update the OST in the next few days)!
[ADDED in v.1.0] Added a new God - Lotor - Created by Daniel Hall.
[ADDED in v.1.0] Added a TON of new entries and visuals to the Epicopedia, which now acts as a strategy guide and opens a pdf with all of the game’s information.
[ADDED in v.1.0] Added a Hall of Fame icon to the Main Menu, showing past campaign performances.
[ADDED in v.1.0] End Game narrative conclusions for each faction storyline finished in a campaign.
[ADDED in v.1.0] Added Redistributables to the game which should fix the New Game issue that a handful of players were experiencing.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] New Prestige Class visuals for the Bardbarian (Oops is that a clue to that prestige class recipe?).
[CHANGED in v.1.0] New Visuals for Paladin Class.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Enhanced visuals for many of the game’s panels.

[ADDED in v.1.0] When selecting the party’s move options, hovering over nodes now highlights them, clarifying the player’s movement options.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Combat tutorial is now accessible from the topbar in combat, and not forced during the tutorial.
Balancing Galore!
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Recruitment Campaigns will now have a base 4 candidates instead of 3, giving the player more options.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Recruitment Campaigns prices have been slightly reduced.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Trade Block now has more candidates to browse through, some of them with lower epicness and cost.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Salary Cap has been reworked and gives more cap space in the mid to late game.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Sorcerer Chaos Bolt has been reworked, giving a steadier damage output (nerfed a bit from last patch).
Bug Fixes!
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Renamed Hardcore mode saves to make sure players could find their savefiles easier. (were always named ‘New Game’ before)
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Fixed some buff and debuff combat effects that weren’t showing anything on their tooltip.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Optimized code and sprite generation on New Game. (Chopped Loading Times significantly). Internal tests have shown an average 20s New Game Load time on an SDDs and 42s load time on HDDs.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Fixed an issue where combat would end before all party members died.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Fixed various typos in Quest, Random Encounters and Tooltip texts.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Fixed a Quest Marker issue where it would always show the first quest amidst the many on a node.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Quality of Life - Added a camera recentering when teleporting a party on the world map.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Fixed Prestige Class Icons not showing up in the Jobs subpanel in the character sheet.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Fixed Heal Resistance spell showing up as a buff instead of a debuff.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Fixed Recruitment Campaigns showing same adventurers too often.

Misc!
Removed redundant audio files. The game should now weight a full 2GB less than before!
Added recommended third-party redistributables to Steam Installer. (DirectX / .NET / Visual C++)

[ADDED in v.1.0] Added 23 Unique Items to each of the game’s bosses with Unique sprites and effects!
[ADDED in v.1.0] Added Final Boss Music Track (will update the OST in the next few days)!
[ADDED in v.1.0] Added a new God - Lotor - Created by Daniel Hall.
[ADDED in v.1.0] Added a TON of new entries and visuals to the Epicopedia, which now acts as a strategy guide and opens a pdf with all of the game’s information.
[ADDED in v.1.0] Added a Hall of Fame icon to the Main Menu, showing past campaign performances.
[ADDED in v.1.0] End Game narrative conclusions for each faction storyline finished in a campaign.

Balancing Galore!
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Recruitment Campaigns will now have a base 4 candidates instead of 3, giving the player more options.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Recruitment Campaigns prices have been slightly reduced.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Trade Block now has more candidates to browse through, some of them with lower epicness and cost.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Salary Cap has been reworked and gives more cap space in the mid to late game.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Sorcerer Chaos Bolt has been reworked, giving a steadier damage output (nerfed a bit from last patch).
Bug Fixes!
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Renamed Hardcore mode saves to make sure players could find their savefiles easier. (were always named ‘New Game’ before)
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Fixed some buff and debuff combat effects that weren’t showing anything on their tooltip.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Optimized code and sprite generation on New Game. (Chopped Loading Times significantly). Internal tests have shown an average 20s New Game Load time on an SDDs and 42s load time on HDDs.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Fixed an issue where combat would end before all party members died.
[CHANGED in v.1.0] Fixed various typos in Quest, Random Encounters and Tooltip texts.

We’ve made some new changes to the World Generation that should once again cut down loading times by about 40%! Huzzah!

Fixed an instance where a wound would not get applied correctly when simulating combat.
Fixed missing sprite ressources on game Start.
Filled missing description in the “Easy Pickings” Quest.
Quality of Life (QoL) and User Interface

Added new End-Game Objectives to guide players through the last specific steps of a campaign.
When clicking a selected Party’s “Portal” Action button on the World Map, camera now centers out to offer a better perspective.
Fixed an issue where clicking on a Map Quest Marker containing multiple quests would always display the first quest.
Quest Panel : Improved the Tooltip information in Quest Infos – Landtypes.

HOTFIX 1 - PATCH NOTES
Performance Improvements
Significantly improved loading time when starting a New Game or Loading an existing Save-file. This should be especially noticeable to players running the game from a standard HDD, although SSD users should also see a reduction in loading time.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a Combat bug that would sometimes prevent an enemy from dying when fatal damage was dealt by an action other than a basic attack.
Balance Changes
All recruitment campaigns now offer more candidates than previously.
Trading block now offers more candidates than previously.
Misc
Improvements made to various UI panels.
