We have launched a brand new update for Cross of the Dutchman which addresses various issues and bugs that were present in the game. In addition to that, we are also adding a new language to the game, German!
Here is an overview of the most important fixes that are included in the update:

The “white screen” issues when spawning has been fixed;
Various spelling and grammar errors have been fixed across of the languages;
You now have more resolution options using the command line;
A lot of performance improvements, making sure the game runs even better on your PC.

A huge thank you to Max and TaD, two awesome guys who helped us translate Cross of the Dutchman into German! You can change the language settings by going into the options menu in the game.

We have launched a brand new update for Cross of the Dutchman which addresses various issues and bugs that were present in the game. In addition to that, we are also adding a new language to the game, German!
Here is an overview of the most important fixes that are included in the update:

The “white screen” issues when spawning has been fixed;
Various spelling and grammar errors have been fixed across of the languages;

Hey everybody -- It's just over 24 hours since we've published Cross of the Dutchman! We're getting some great responses, but also some remarks that convinced us to make some changes to the store page.
Originally, we classified Cross of the Dutchman as an RPG, primarily because of the way you take control of the main character, and because of the interaction that can be had with other characters.
Going by the reviews that we're seeing, most people would not classify our game as an RPG, and that is probably correct.
So, what we've done to improve is update the store page. We've removed the RPG tag from the category description, and added tags like "hack-and-slash" instead. Hopefully, this better conveys what the game is actually about, and ensures that future players get what they expect from the game.
We're constantly keeping track of the reviews and the posts made on the community board, so if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask!

Hey everybody -- It's just over 24 hours since we've published Cross of the Dutchman! We're getting some great responses, but also some remarks that convinced us to make some changes to the store page.
Originally, we classified Cross of the Dutchman as an RPG, primarily because of the way you take control of the main character, and because of the interaction that can be had with other characters.

We are currently offering a 15% launch discount and two packages, the 'Standard Edition' and the 'Deluxe Edition'. These packages contain the following items:
Standard Edition
A single copy of the game 'Cross of the Dutchman'.
Deluxe Edition
An artbook of over 100 pages;
All the soundtracks from the game in MP3 and Ogg format;
A papercraft item of the main character, Pier.
Timeline overview of the entire project from the start till the end.

Today we are proud to announce that Valve has approved our store page, which means we can now communicate better with the community and make announcements on Steam! Make sure you don't forget to follow our game and add it to your wishlist, that way you will always be fully up-to-

We also wanted to share the Steam achievements with you, please note that if you don't want any spoilers at all you should do yourself a favor and don't scroll down!

We have excluded all the major spoilers from the campaign and various mission achievements from the list below. The total amount of achievements we currently have contains a total of 32 achievements, so the list posted below isn't the complete list!
