Greetings everyone, Shiness released a few weeks ago and we've carefully read and listened to your feedback since launch to work on a first update improving the game. We focused on the most common reports and feedback to deploy a patch helping as many players as possible. This is
Greetings everyone,
Shiness released a few weeks ago and we've carefully read and listened to your feedback since launch to work on a first update improving the game.
We focused on the most common reports and feedback to deploy a patch helping as many players as possible.
This is a great week for Shiness as its first update is available today on Steam and the complete Original Soundtrack will be available tomorrow (disc version and digital version)!
The patch will also be available on consoles by the end of the month with some console-specific bug fixes such as: ambient sounds are properly played, AOE spells’ visual effects are properly displayed on the ground, the X and Y axis camera setting is now saved.
One of the major improvements this patch brings to the game is about the camera system in combats. What you need to know about this feature:
There are two camera modes in combats: Autolock (the camera automatically targets the enemy) and Free (the player can move the camera freely). You can change modes in the Settings menu (Combat camera autolock: ON/OFF).
Both modes are improved with the patch.
The default camera for combats was Autolock mode in the launch version (Combat camera autolock: ON) and is now Free mode in the patched version (Combat camera autolock: OFF).

Bug fix (content)
[Blocking issue fix] The Cohaya is now usable in the moutain after Mantara City Battle, preventing players from being stuck in the summit.
[Blocking issue fix] It's now not possible anymore to save during the cannons sequence of the Mantara City Battle.
[Blocking issue fix] In the quest "Three's a Crowd", Vrynn can't disapear outside the game area anymore, preventing players to be stuck with her.
[Blocking issue fix] In the Train Dungeon, players can't be stuck in combat after the alarm activation.
[Blocking issue fix] The side quest "Catch 'em all" can now be finished even if the player hunts Fauns in a different area than the Plain.
[Blocking issue fix] The Side quest "Music Maestra!" can now be finished even if the player get the requested item in a different area than the Plain.
It's now impossible to gain exp above level 50 and go back to level 1.
The achievement "It's really going down!" is fixed: money made by selling items is now taken into account.
The puzzle to access the secret area Hall of Giants has been removed.
Changes to the Meos' Palace to prevent characters skills from deactivating.
Irys' rumors are now properly updated with side quests.
In combat, enemies now always die when falling.
Fix of an issue displaying a red HP gauge in combat.
Fix of a bug preventing Train Dungeon alarms from activating.
Fix of a bug opening several chests in the same time and preventing the access from some specific rewards.
In the Mountain, players can't avoid the fight against Father.
Fix of various sound issues.

Fix of video stuttering with AMD processors.
Improvement of the "Show Vegetation" option, now displaying rocks when it is set to OFF.
The game now starts with the keyboard/mouse or controller interface depending on what's used on the Main Screen.

New mentions of the Cohaya of Xaham in various lines.
A few elements have been removed in the environments to improve comfort during combats.

Shiness released a few weeks ago and we've carefully read and listened to your feedback since launch to work on a first update improving the game.
We focused on the most common reports and feedback to deploy a patch helping as many players as possible.
This is a great week for Shiness as its first update is available today on Steam and the complete Original Soundtrack will be available tomorrow (disc version and digital version)!

Shiness' characters and story were first birthed over 20 years ago from the pen strokes of a young Samir Rebib, co-founder of Enigami.
Now, after a successful Kickstarter campaign and with the help of publisher Focus Home Interactive, this young team is close to releasing their first game - featuring 5 playable characters with distinct playstyles and personalities:
Chado - This daring young Waki dreams of travelling far beyond his home town Kimpao - and this desire quickly lands him in big trouble!
Poky - A faithful friend to Chado, Poky has an incredible talent for engineering that makes up for his lack of courage.
Rosalya - Shy but loyal to the party, Rosalya has a powerful affinity with fire and is on the search for a mysterious truth.
Askel - A formidable young mercenary, the enigmatic Askel already has a far-reaching reputation in Mahera.
Kayenne - A strong, natural born leader, Kayenne remains calm in even the most difficult situations.
Directly control your party members in hyper-dynamic combat - each character has powerful magical abilities and their own devastating Hyper Combos!
Though battles are 1v1 in classic fighting game tradition, party members can cast spells from the sidelines and be swapped out through the tag team system.
Outside battle, the open, puzzle-filled environments give party members plenty of opportunities to shine. From Kayenne's telekinetic talents to Rosalya's use of fire to reveal hidden entrances, use potent abilities to overcome any obstacle that stands in your way.
Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom arrives for download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on 18 April 2017.

We're pleased to reveal more images of Shiness' world and unveil its coming pre-order offer!
Next week, players will have the chance to pre-order the game on Steam, benefitting from exclusive bonuses. While Shiness’ Gamescom Trailer brought more information about the story of the game, the images unveiled today will embark you further into the magical and inhospitable lands that make up the world of Shiness.
Walk deep inside the corrupted forest of Meonis, a land originally inhabited by Meonians. This old civilization once lived in harmony with the nature, but fled to Mantara City in order to escape the Curse of Adorn.
Meonis forest is now infested by evil creatures from the obscure Shi, and home to the palace of the dead King Meos, a dark place where only the bravest of heroes would dare visit.
Further in the North, at the Peak of Shiyawo Mountains, Chado observes the Hall of Giants - the only gate for exiled people to access the lands of Adorya.
Players will have the chance to pre-order Shiness on Steam starting next
