Hello! And welcome to Virtual Hugs Round 20! And yes, I did not miscount, it actually is 20 this time! Because last time I miscategorized the announcement for Round 19, SO IT DIDN'T SHOW UP FOR MOST OF YOU! ːsteamfacepalmː
So first of all, I hope you are having a lovely day today. I see you brushed your teeth and you smell minty fresh! ːsteamhappyː So you deserve a pat on the back, just for that. :3 And even if you didn't...HUGSPLOSION FOR YOOOOOUUU!!! ːsteamhearteyesː
Recently, my friend and I have started to go swimming again. It's been years since I last went swimming, so it's actually super refreshing for me. (I am a bit of a water-fan, in case you haven't noticed. ːsteamsunnyː) I hope it becomes a regular thing we do, as I have missed being all aquatic. ːsteamsunnyː
GAME NEWS?!
And now there's a bit of game news! Sort of! It is technically progress, but I hope you aren't too disappointed by it.
So, my extra awesome programming wizard Kalbintion and I have been talking recently, and even though he's a programmer dude who deserves all the pay and glory, he has agreed to help with the sequel in exchange for artwork and snacks I'll send him. So that is super duper amazing of him, and he deserves alllll the credit. So there may be a new update on the sequel, coming up soon. ːsteamhappyː I currently asked him to help with number balancing (since he is good at that sort of thing, and I am not), so the enemies shall, hopefully, not be as terribly balanced as they currently are! X3 And there will be other things I will see about getting him to do too, so that shall hopefully be quickly coming down the pipeline! ːsteamdanceː
Zee Youtube Videos of Glory
Without further ado, let's get to everyone's favourite part! Theoretically! I have no idea if anybody ever watches these videos, but WHO CARES! I'M LINKING THEM ANYWAY!!
First up is a video that I actually saw in animatic form, but now it's animated! I'm not sure if I've linked it before but, well, it seems to be getting officially produced, so I am pumped. Hoping this turns into a fully fledged series! ːsteamhappyː
In memory of Dolly Parton, the King's Guard played her song 9 to 5. It's pretty cool. And my friend and I recently watched the movie, 9 to 5, in honour of Dolly, so I recommend you guys do the same if you have the time and/or ability. But don't do drugs kids. They're bad for you.
I don't know if I've linked this video here before, but since I've been toyingwith AI and seeing what it can do, this music video is a good example of what you can make. I've also been checking out other songs by this upcoming AI musician, so I'm pretty excited to see what they come up with next. ːTtMrabbitː
And let's end things off with this beautiful little cover by our favourite Mario Antagonist, Waluigi singing Rainbow Connection! ːtigerinablanketː
ASIAN DRAMA???
...No Asian Drama this time. That's because I have been watching Youtubers play Episode and React to Terrible TikTok movies instead. I am...so sorry. XD Consider the link to I Don't Want To Be A Magical Girl my honourary Asian Drama for this post.

Greetings. Still waiting on the "good news" that I mentioned last time. Still delayed. This may be news for you, but the ridiculously annoying delays are actually nothing new, in regards to this. -Sigh.-
But in some other, actually good news that I can share with you guys, I was recently gifted a copy of Princess Maker 2 by one of you! ːsteamhappyː I don't want to say who, since I'm not sure they want the spotlight, but it was really sweet and quite unexpected, on my part. I keep hearing news stories about how "gamers are toxic trolls" and "people who stay on the internet all the time are awful", but I haven't found that to be the case at all. While I am aware that I've tried to curate (as best as I can) a relatively safe space on this little corner of the internet, my experience with growing up around the gaming community has given me some of the best friends I've ever had. :3 So, thank you guys. Thanks for all the memories and unexpected kindnesses. Hugs for you all! ːsteamhearteyesː
For those of you who are remotely interested in that AI comic of mine, I've got another chapter up. It's actually the chapter where I originally planned on ending the story when I came up with it. So, if you don't mind a cliffhanger ending, then this might be a good time to just sit and read the whole thing through in one go. ːsteamdanceː
So, this isn't exactly a Youtube video (obviously), but when looking up references for my new comic cover, I came across this website and it did not disappoint. For those of you who haven't clicked yet, it's a website where they recreate cheesy romance novel covers with regular, everyday people, and it heals my soul...so much. ːsteamlaughcryː
Another fun Youtuber I found while checking out Episode videos in the last post! Turns out she has a whole series on this AI Toxic Mafia Boyfriend and it's cracking me up. XD Here is a super battle between who would win between the two personalities...! ːsteamlaughcryː She also has other videos--I haven't checked all of them out yet, but the ones I have seen are just GOLDEN!
Lastly, to end on a cute note, my friend recommended this video series to me a while ago, but I recently got it recommended to me by Youtube again, SO I'M SHARING IT! XD The video is self-explanatory, so I don't have much I could say to improve on it much at all.
Asian Drama Watch
I...have not been watching any significant dramas that I haven' recommended already. >.> Whoops. But what about you guys? Anything interesting that you guys have been watching? :)

Hello.
There is some good news that I would like to report to you guys. Unfortunately, this good news keeps getting pushed back and pushed back and pushed back. So much so, that it's been frustrating me. And, because there's still a good chance of this good news not coming to pass, I don't want to tell you what it is, just to then turn around and go "actually, it didn't happen".
But I haven't been writing any more entries to the Virtual Hug collection because I've been wanting to report on said good news so it'd be a good story to tell you guys. Hence my procrastination.
SO.
Since I don't have the good news that I was hoping to report to you guys, why don't you leave some good things that have happened to you recently? It doesn't have to be much--you can tell a story of how you got a tasty steak or found a cool penny on the ground. Just something kinda cool that's happened to you that you feel like sharing.
And if you don't have anything to report, then that's okay. You deserve a virtual hug anyway. :) I'm sure you've done your best this last while, so you deserve a pat on the back simply for that.
So this channel has been kind of fun. They have a whole bunch of videogame remixes in various styles. Whether it's Mario in Italian Summer Pop style, Pokemon in Mariachi style, or Luigi's Mansion in Detective Noir style, they've got you covered. The downside for some of you is that I'm not sure how much of it is A.I. and how much isn't, but I personally enjoy it all enough that I don't really care. Check them out if you're interested! ːsteamdanceː
View game page Here is just a fun classic. ːsteamsunnyː (And Steam continues to hate Youtube Shorts.)
So, slight confession to make: I have been watching Vertical movies and Episode stories, recently. More specifically, watching Youtubers react to them so I don't have to give these companies a cent of my money. ːsteamsunnyː They are...hilariously addicting in all the wrong ways, and as someone who has a soft spot for bad fanfiction, this feels somewhat nostalgic to me. XD (Don't worry, I'm not giving up on Asian Dramas just yet, but this is a quick alternative.)
I've found a number of Youtubers who are pretty hilarious, but if I listed them all here, this post would be mountains of videos long. Ain't nobody but me got time for that! So I recommend Little Miss Ashlyn for some good times.
As for Episode, if you are interested in Game Design like I am, it's pretty fascinating to watch this gal's playthrough of "Don't Hate the Player", and then watching these two dudes play the exact same game with the complete opposite playstyle. Shows how limited the gameplay really is andit's also really funny to watch two absolute dude-bros get super invested in this hyper girly game. XD Don't waste your money, kids!
View game page This girl I've stumbled across because of her Episode videos. She's pretty fun. XD (Don't worry. It's parody, I promise.)
Now for some good fiction! XD So this channel has a whole bunch of Shorts that I've been enjoying, but because Steam hates Youtube Shorts, here's one of her "full length videos". XD This channel has a whole bunch of high quality, wellanimated,(NO A.I.,) and funny shorts in regards to her book Gold and Gossamer. Now, I hate reading (I realize the irony), but I'm not going to lie...the character dynamics expressed in these animations make me kind of curious, at least, and I would not be a good Youtube Sharer if I didn't at least share them with you guys. ːsteamdanceː
Also, the main characters are black and it literally doesn't matter. I wouldn't bring it up except that it's a perfect example of how not to be stupid and annoying over stuff like that, so TAKE NOTES, HOLLYWOOD!!
Here's some more gold from Refashioned Hippie. This time, she talks about a part of fashion history which has personally annoyed me as soon as I found out about it. View game page

You guys thought because I recommended a whole bunch of vertical movies and Episode videos, that I'd skip out on this? :P Nope! Here we go!
This one is one I've actually been wanting to recommend for a while, but not for the reasons you might think. Yes, it's well written, but it was actually an animated show like No Doubt in Us. (I honestly suspect the same company or the same animation engine, but I don't know enough Chinese to prove it.) As someone who watched the animated show before the live action series, my heart still lies with the animated series (obviously). Unfortunately, the distribution company at some point realized that the animated show had a better script than most of their live actions shows, so the company cancelled the second season of the animated show and made it into a live action show instead. ːsteamsadː Us original fans are quite salty about that. ːsteamsaltyː
However, despite my saltiness, I will say that, from what I've watched so far, the live action show is still pretty good. The episodes expanded from being 20 minutes long to being 40 minutes long. As a result, there is some padding. However, the padding isn't actually bad padding. Having seen both versions, I can tell where the padding is, however, it's not padding that feels like it's wasting your time. It's padding that expands some details that were initially skipped over. Also, the live action version has quite a few little animated segments, which feels like an homage to the animated show, so it helps us animated viewers feel more at home in this version. :)
Ahh, but I just realized I haven't gone into the plot yet. So, this is another "girl gets sucked into another world" stories, or rather another "girl gets sucked into book" stories. The main character gets sucked into a book she was reading on the subway. (The live action version fleshes out why she was reading it in the first place, whereas the animated show just has a short intro before getting right into it.) She becomes the villianess of the novel, who suffers a terrible fate. The twist? She's not the only one. She quickly finds out that the Mad Emperor has actually been in the world longer than her, with possibly more characters coming from the real world as well.
I know the whole "I'm the Villainess" storyline has been so overdone in recent years, but this is actually one of the best ones I've come across. By having more than one character come from the real world, it's so fun to watch the characters plot and scheme how to get the best result in their terrible situation. It's a battle against bad odds, and a game of strategy. So, if you aren't too burned out on the genre, then I recommend you give this a try. :)
..................However, the Live Action Intro will never hold a candle to the Animated Intro Sequence. ːsteamsadː IT'S STILL GOOD, BUT IT'S JUST NOT THE SAME! ;_;

Well, I hope that's enough to report to you guys, without having much to report. Hope to report to you guys soon, as well as read whatever good stories you have in the comments. ːsteamhappyː See ya!

Hello once again! I hope you're having a good week! I kinda am! :D It's about time for another one of these! So Hugspolsions for all!
The reason I haven't made a new Virtual Hug post is...I...couldn't think of anything to write. I'm serious. The fun little stories I came up with, just didn't seem entertaining enough. Going to IHOP, the neighbourhood cat...everything I could come up with was just...mid at best. >_>
But, now I do have an interesting story! Sort of! And that is that my mom and I went to see the Super Mario Galaxy Movie last Sunday! ːsteamhappyː The internet does not seem to like this movie, but we did. XD It was fun, and sure it could have been more conventional, but after all that had been going on that day (sleeping too late, almost missing church, leg not working when I got out of bed), it was really nice to get to see it. :3 Someone called it a Cotton Candy Movie, and sometimes there's nothing wrong with having a little bit of cotton candy from time to time. ːsteamdanceː
We also got to watch Season 2 of One Piece. It was a lot of fun too, but in a completely different way. ;P
Been working on my comic. Just finished two kinda-sorta-chapters-that-should-just-be-one-but-whatever. However, I was having a terrible time with some technical difficulties on my end, so the fact that almost nobody is reading it, actually worked in my favour this time! XD So thank you, dear reader, for not reading my comic, so I didn't have to stress about not getting it to you in time.
I've done a couple more of the artsy-fartsy pieces too, that I've been posting on Instagram. I'm not too into fashion offline, but I quite enjoy it when making fun outfits for my characters. And when I see influencers say "oh, this is so cute" only to describe the blandest thing ever, then I feel the need to take matters into my own hands. (Of course, it's always fun when something like this happens... XD)
But that's not what you're here for! You're here for the bestest, the greatest, Youtube videos! ːsteamhappyː
This one is actually an anime that's releasing in Japan right now! It's called Always a Catch...at least in English; the Japanese Title seems a mile and a half long. o_o
There are only two episodes out right now so if it sucks, don't blame me. The episodes that have come out, though, have really been hitting my sappy-shoujo-sweet-spot. It may not be everyone's cup of tea (ha), and there are some definitely cheesy/cliched moments for sure, but I've liked what I've seen so far, hence my urge to share. ;)
Well, that's all for me for this time around! Hope you have a lovely rest of your day/evening/time-travel-adventure. So, until next time, toodle-loo~ ːsteamhappyː

Oh, what's that? It's already one week into February?
Whoops.
Whelp, I suppose in some ways not much has been going on. Much of the same old, same old. The best thing I got for Christmas was a DVD Player. I may have a DVD Player built into my own laptop, but having a small, travel sized DVD Player I can play on the fly, is pretty sweet too. :3
There's been a hot chocolate contest that's been going on, where I live. A whole bunch of different places are competing to see who has the best hot chocolate. So that means I've been having a lot of hot chocolate! ːtigerinablanketː I think I've tried three so far, but I am far from finished! >D
Um, in terms of stuff I've been working on, I'm still trying to get the next set of pages done for my AI Art Comic, but it's been slow. So I've been doing some smallerAI Art Pictures on the side. ;3
Oh, and we can't forget the hugs now, can we? *EPIC HUG OF DESTINY! HUGSPLOSIONS FOR ALL!!*ːsteamsunnyːIf you haven't had a hot chocolate in a while, why not go out and get one for yourself? I would say it's my treat, except you are all the way over there, and my wallet cannot reach from here.

Asian Drama Watch Come now! A virtual hug entry can't possibly be complete without me recommending an Asian Drama from the darkest crevices of the internet! XD
Ignore the clickbait title (which you can't see from this preview); these two do not sleep together at any point during this Episode 1 - 54 compilation.
Usually I hate Isekais (or as I've been calling them, "Girl Gets Sucked to Another World Stories"), so if I end up recommending one, then that means it has something good to offer.
This was one of the first Chinese Bootleg Animes I ended up watching, so it's been a while since I've watched it. But from my recollection, it stars our heroine who wakes up in the body of some princess getting married to a brutal warlord (as you do). The identity she's resuming apparently is impersonating her sister, and rather than lie about who she apparently is, she instead screams that she's actually not the sister, but took her place because she's madly in love with Mr. Demon Overlord.
Yeah, that gets his attention.
I won't get into too many spoilers (and I don't remember as many details as I'd like to, anyway), but the real highlight of this show is the comedy. The main character is constantly pretending to be infatuated with this guy she's terrified of, to preserve her own life. It even gets to the point of her pretending to be his creepy stalker, in order to get herself out of working for him. It's hilarious. Another highlight of the show is our leading man because he's neither an idiot nor is he flat out evil in a way that the plot tries to excuse. He's got his own baggage that he's dealing with, and despite his short comings, he's quite a decent chap.
This Bootleg Chinese Drama also does some interesting things narratively that I feel like I should point out. In most of these cheap isekais, the main character takes over some random person's body, and that person is never mentioned again. This can work given the right context, but what I like about this show is that the question of "who was this princess before being possessed" is actually explored later on. Finding out the fate and backstory to this random NPC became one of the most intriguing parts of the show for me. Just goes to show that this is far more thought out than some other Bootleg Chinese Animes I've watched.

Greetings and salutations! I have returned with an ultra procrastinator Christmas post! Huzzah!
...Um... I've really got to come up with a better way to I start these...
I hope you guys had a good Christmas. Mine was okay--bit of a mixed bag, but that's due to real life reasons I won't get into. Besides, I haven't been much of a Christmas-person anyway, despite being a Christian, so it's not the end of the world for me if the holiday isn't the bestest thing evarrr... *Throws confetti of holiday cheer.*
Oh, and I updated my AI Art comic again. It's going so slow, why is it going so slow, ahhhh...! And, of course, we can't forget the trademarked hugs. ;) You guys deserve it, and I know that not all of you are having a fun holiday time, at this time or year. So I salute you. And hug you. And salute you. And hug you too. And I've really got to make up my mind. XD
Story time, I guess!
I wasn't sure what I was going to put here, but here goes. Today, I was planning on staying inside because it is cold, it is winter, and I live in Canada, so it's worse than in most places. The cord I've been using to charge my phone has been acting up recently, so I thought I would walk to the nearby gas station to get a new one.
But that wasn't very adventurous and God nudged me to be more adventurous, so I ended up going to Walmart instead. I had gotten a $20 bill from someone for Christmas, so I wanted to try and buy something for myself, with it. Ended up spending more than $20 at Walmart, which I primarily blame on my recent DVD obsession.
Got off the bus, and started walking home when I realized I still hadn't gotten my cord, which was one of my reasons for going to Walmart in the first place. Whoops.
So, I walk to the gas station and pick out a random blue cord--they were differently priced for some reason, but I wasn't too concerned about that. So I went to the till, paid for the cord, and then started walking home.
I had put my cord in my mitt because I didn't want it to freeze with my Walmart purchases, and be rendered useless after just buying it. I was congratulating myself on finally getting my cord, and enjoying my purchase felt the end of the cord. It was the wrong shape to fit into my phone.
Are you kidding me?
I hadn't gone very far, and if I wanted a refund, I should probably deal with it today instead of later, so I went back in and asked if I could exchange the cord. (I also found out that's why the cords had different prices on them. Of course that's why.) The lady at the till told me to check the cord more carefully next time, and due to some reason I didn't understand, I got my refund in cash. I hurriedly grabbed my change, picked up the dime that fell on the floor, shoved everything back in my pockets, and scurried out of there as fast as my embarrassment would let me.
I was walking back home again, and let me mind wander to other things to forget my embarrassment. Noticed things more like how my legs were cold, and thinking about dinner and all that. But at least I got a cord that actually fit my phone this time!
Cord. Cord. Uh oh. Are you kidding me?
So I walked back to the gas station for a third time to pick up the cord that I had just gone through all the hassle of purchasing. On my way in the door, I walked past a homeless man (I think), who was trying to get money for something. (He promised it wasn't drugs.) I wasn't sure if I wanted to, but I gave him the $5 bill I had just gotten from that cash refund.
Went into the store, the lady at the counter told me that I had, indeed, forgotten my cord at the counter, and I just said "Today isn't my day, is it?" Oh well. At least it would make a funny work story for her. XD
On the way out, I ran into the homeless guy again. I had been wondering what to spend my $20 on, and this guy had said that he needed something like $26 for whatever he was going to purchase. I talked with him again, told him that I had a $20 bill, and was wondering about giving it to him. He apparently had a surplus now, so he gave me his $10 bill in return. We talked together, we prayed together, and then I finally started walking home again, with my cord safely in hand--er, mitt. ;)
And none of that would have happened if God hadn't nudged me to be more adventurous today, and go to Walmart. ːTtMrabbitː
A Christmas miracle, perhaps? XD Whatever you believe about this, I wish you a Merry Christmas anyways!
If you don't mind AI, then here's a channel that has a bunch of fun AI covers of KPop Demon Hunters Songs. I like the original soundtrack well enough, but I find that I seem to like the covers even more than the original songs. XD I think it's fun in its own way.
Here is another appropriate use of AI. XD And this Youtube channel is really insightful, with this guy who defected from North Korea reacting to things, and explaining what life was like back where he came from. Just a good channel to check out overall. :3
So, this time I'm recommending the movie David? My mom and I went and saw it yesterday, and it was better than I expected it to be. (From some of the earlier trailers and teasers, I thought it would be kind of a joke-fest like a lot of movies are nowadays, but I was surprised that it knew when to hold back.) Of course, it can seem like I'm recommending a Christian movie around Christmas time because...Christmas. However, I will say that my standards are generally pretty high, and I wouldn't be recommending this movie if I didn't genuinely want to recommend it. But they censored David beheading Goliath and Saul going into the cave to take a dump, the cowards. So, check it out, if you're interested! ːsteamdanceː

Hello again. How are you doing? Doing well, I hope.
I've been attending more markets recently, as I have been trying to sell my book as I can. But my mom recently brought to my attention that another person uploaded a book to Amazon with the exact same title as mine. :| Kind of took the wind out of my sails. I'm talking with the lawyer I hired years ago to see what exactly can be done, but...yeah. Kind of a bummer. Ugh. And there's only so much I can do when I'm this broke, but my mother said she was willing to help me out, so we'll have to see what comes of all this.
But, I don't want to depress you all, since these posts are about cheering you guys up. I've kind of been making a friend with someone, IRL, recently. We don't meet up all the time, but when we do, we have a blast. We went for Chinese food on Sunday evening. That was pretty fun. Oh, and afterward we showed her the Live Action Adaptation of One Piece. It was a blast to revisit that show with someone who's never seen it before. ːsteamdanceː
Do any of you like One Piece? I never really got into the manga, as it was so long, and when it came out I was more into Bleach and Naruto at the time. But the live action version truncates the plot quite a bit, so it's a much easier pill to swallow. And Season 2 is set to come out in March! I'm so excited! ːsteamhappyː
Oh, and before I forget, Hugspolsion to all of you! X3 You've had a hard week, this week, so you definitely deserve it!
Now For Zee Youtube Videos You've All Been Waiting For! I know why you're all coming here! So let's share this good stuff! ːsteamsunnyː
Since we're talking about One Piece, why not share the hilarious blooper reel? :D It may not make sense if you haven't seen it, but let's just think of this as another shameless plug. ;)
This Ye Olde Japanese Artist drew dogs when it wasn't entirely appropriate, and I'm here for it. ːsteamsunnyː We could all do more with a couple cute doggos in our lives.
This one is a more contemplative kind of video. It reminds me of the olden days of Pokemon, and just feels like a good video to share all around. Sometimes fun can be better found in just going with the flow. :)
AND IF WE'RE TALKING ABOUT CLASSICS, WE CAN'T FORGET THIS ONE! I was SO GLAD when I found out the links to the next parts of the song, were now listed in the video descriptions...! Now I can return to Planet Bear in peace...! ːsteamlaughcryː
Last time I recommended a "So Bad It's Good" Bootleg Chinese Anime, so this time I'm recommending one that's actually pretty good.
First thing you'll want to know is that, with a lot of these Bootleg Chinese Animes (especially the compilation videos), most of them aren't finished. Like the above video, you'll get a story without an ending, and no real signs as to when the stories are going to get updated. Personally, this is fine for me, as I'm a writer, so I can just mentally write a "happily ever after" to my liking, whenever I want. And after seeing so many Asian Dramas drop the ball with their endings, my head canon ends up being better than what we actually get.
Second thing you should know it's that it's another "villainess" anime, where the main character is from "the real world" and knows the general script ahead of time. If you're sick to death of that genre, then this won't be fun for you. But, if you're willing to give it a chance, it does a couple things right, hence the recommendation.
The story proper is about Real Girl Number #4205, ending up in the story where she is Pampered Villainess #2348. Having read the book/story, she knows that her rich family will be raided and everyone will be killed. So, in order to avoid that fate, she decides to make her family go broke before that can happen. Unfortunately, she isn't allowed to act "out of character" from this persona she's adopted, so she gets the family's Business Colleagues to make really stupid financial decisions to bankrupt the family indirectly. I won't spoil anything, but this has hilarious consequences. ːsteamthumbsupː
Then there's the male lead. From what I remember of the subtitles, they're kinda vague, but I think he's supposed to be the evil, maniacal prince who leads the raid on her rich family later. There's some stuff going on with him that basically lands him under Pampered Villainess's care. Since he's constantly scouting out her family, he pretends to be a hapless, puppy dog personality in order to come across as harmless. This actually ends up creating one of the most interesting fictional relationships dynamics I've ever seen--the bubbly girl pretends to be a cold calculating marketing genius, while the cold, calculating guy pretends to be a bubbly guy. It's actually really fascinating.
Also, this show has got to have one of the best dads I've seen in fiction. Hapless Puppydog Prince invites Dad over at one point, tells dad that he's a prince, and that he wants to marry her daughter, and dad says "um, I'll pass." Perplexed, the Prince is like "wait, you're turning down a prince??" To which the dad responds "I know what goes down in the palace--all the backstabbing and murders in trying to get to the throne--and don't want my daughter to be involved in any of it." The Prince is baffled by this response, tells the dad that his daughter really loves him, and rather than making a big fuss over this, the Dad is like "honey, I want to honour your wishes, but are you sure you want to be with this guy...?" It's such a small character role, but this dad is a champ that deserves a medal. Not only did he deny royalty to protect his daughter's life, but even when backed into a corner, he doesn't try to force his daughter to obey him, but tries to respect her wishes while gently advising her otherwise. Move over, Charlie Swan! There's a new fictional dad champ in town!
It ends on a semi-cliffhanger, but I had enough fun with the premise that I'm totally willing to recommend it. :3
There's a lot more to the story than that, but if you think you'll enjoy it, you probably will. Let's wait for the next set of episodes together! ːcatinablanketː
So, um, apparently at least some of you seem to miss me doing these , which I wasn't expecting. So, let's do another one! Uhhhhhhhh... Well, recently, I've been doing jigsaw puzzles with my mom. There was this one bakery we saw a lot and wanted to try out, and we did. The food wa
Well, recently, I've been doing jigsaw puzzles with my mom. There was this one bakery we saw a lot and wanted to try out, and we did. The food was okay, but the real highlight was this one puzzle that was sitting on the table. We didn't finish it that time (we had a time limit), but we came back another day and did finish it, so that was nice. And we've been going back ever since. ːsteamdanceː We don't normally do puzzles like this, since my mom says that it's just a big time waster (and she's right), but having a specific place where we can sit down and do them, has been kind of nice. Have you done any jigsaw puzzles lately? It might be kind of cool to try doing something like that again. If not, then, well, give yourself a pat on the back. I'm sure you've been working hard and deserve this rest. Hug-splosion for you! ːsteamsunnyː
UPDATES ON THE SEQUEL!
There are no updates. Literally none. Zip, zilch, nada.
...Yeah, that's the main reason I haven't been making little updates over here is because I have nothing to share. >_> And if I have nothing to share than...it's just kind of superfluous. ːsteamsadː But if you want me to do an update without an update, then, um, here you go?
Reason for not working on the game? I'm broke. Like, super broke. I won't go into just how broke I am, but I definitely can't hire people to work for me. And I don't think it's fair to do the work of 15 different people, all by myself. So, unless you guys can find me a jungle full of oompa-loompas who are willing to work endless hours for the price of a cocoa bean, then the sequel is staying in limbo land.
Other Thing That's Just Meh? So...I've been debating whether or not to share this with you guys at all for reasons I won't get into. But, uhh... I've made a comic? Sorta? Comics have been my thing since I was a kid, so in actuality the game was a weird outlier in my history...
However, I have committed the cardinal sin amongst the artist community and made it almost completely with A.I. Art. *Thunder claps dramatically.* So, the style is quite different than my usual style because, um, it's literally not me drawing it. But it looks shiny? It took me half a year to figure out a process to make it look that good, so...uhhh...that's a win, I guess?
It's also senseless smut for the first five chapters, but we don't talk about that. Be distracted by the pretty pictures to forget what you're reading.
I've been posting it on both Instagram and Webtoons as I miraculously haven't gotten censored again. Might try reuploading that other comic I made, but I'm still weary of doing that. Either way, I really don't care how much attention this comic ends up getting because I literally didn't draw it and it's basically smut anyway, so I mostly try to pretend it doesn't exist. I've been working on this as opposed to the sequel because I can make it for free, I am deliberately seeing how lazy I can be as a comic creator, and once I get an actual job, I can throw this in a heap somewhere and move onto more important things.
The Part You've Actually Been Waiting For...the Memes! :D
Yup! Enough with all that boring stuff! Now we get to the good stuff! ːsteamhearteyesː
So, I can't be the only one on the KPop Demon Hunters Hype Train, right now. I bet some of you internet denizens are rather sick of seeing this movie, but I'mjusthereforthememes. I originally had no plans in watching this movie, as I am broke, but I did and it was a better time than expected. Also, I feel like the fanbase around this movie has elevated the source materialbeyond what the original movie is, so I'm actually quite grateful for lurking around Meme-Land. ːsteamsunnyː
Let's just get this out of the way... Favourite Song: Probably "Free", then "How's It's Done". Favourite Huntrix: Normally it would be Mira, as I like stoic sassy characters, but surprisingly it was Zoey. She just seems like someone I really want to be friends with. Favourite Saja: Romance. Didn't think much of him in the movie, but PEOPLE DRAW HIM SO DANG HOT!! >.<
This may not be one that will resonate with many people in the Steam community, but as someone with some experience in sewing, I find this channel to be a lot of fun. Mostly, I like watching how these clients get these hilariously awful dresses online, and this lady somehow brings some life back into them. I also just like watching her process with the needlework and stuff, as, again, I have some experience, and I quite enjoy the logistics of how she puts them back together again. :)
I've also been watching a lot of "Core" videos recently. Whether it's sharks, seals, or toucans, I just can't get enough! I'm so in love with the mellow-ness. Hope you enjoy as well~ :3
So, this one is about a blended family where two dads decide that they are going to raise three kids together, because all three of their moms are out of the picture. And they're completely straight. If this was set in the West, then there would be gay implications, but it's actually kind of refreshing to see that it's just a couple of guys raising a family as complete bros.
It's been a few years since I've seen this show, but I remember the relationship dynamics between the characters being very believable and nuanced. So, yeah. Highly recommend it. ːsteamthumbsupːːNoPantsː

Well, that's all for now. Hope you have a nice evening, and I hope I haven't bored you too much with semi-in-denial-Kpop-Demon-Hunter-Obsession. :P
I realize I haven't done one of these in a while, partially because I keep forgetting, and also because I feel like I've run out of things to say. But since it's almost Christmas, if there was ever a time to write another one of these up, it would be now. Never mind that I'm not
I realize I haven't done one of these in a while, partially because I keep forgetting, and also because I feel like I've run out of things to say. But since it's almost Christmas, if there was ever a time to write another one of these up, it would be now. Never mind that I'm not very good at being Christmasy, let's go!
~NEWS?~
1) So, um, about a month ago, my roommate challenged me to make a comic in a week. I asked for a couple week extension, and ba-da-boom, ba-dabing, it's done now. I originally created it with the intention of posting it on Webtoons. And I did. And in less than 24 hours, it was censored. Since Webtoons staff has a really bad history of any form of decent customer service, I took the comic down and reuploaded it to Tapas. Being censored kind of took the wind out of my sails with the whole thing, but for anyone who's interested, then give it a read.
2) So, in preparation for uploading my comic, I decided to finally put together a designated email for anyone who wants to purchase my book. (You know, this one?) The email in question is HandsomeandHideousComic (at) hotmail (dot) com. If you want to order a book, then feel free to shoot me a message. ːsteamdanceː
I know this all might seem super obvious to some of you, but this guy seems to be one of the channels that the otherDnD Meme channels keeps quoting. XD I binged this guy for a couple days straight, I swear...! Sir Bearington is the stuff of LEGENDS!!!Krod isn't too bad either. ;) Also, in regards to this short, joke's on you! Kalymn already had the confident apathy to walk straight up to the front table! >D
This guy is less about Christmas, but is just a fun Youtube Channel in general. Maybe I'm just sharing so I can easily find his stuff again. (I am very perplexed by the random dominatrix outfit that shows up from time to time. ...I have questions that I'm not sure I want answers to... XD)
So...this is a super weird tangent, but some years back, I found a really cool piece of fanart that was of a Russian Animated Cartoon from around the Soviet Era. From there, I binged a whole bunch of them and have become a weird sort of fan of the whole genre? (If we can call it that...) I recently went told my roommate (same as above) about my weird passion/hobby, and I would be remiss if I didn't try to share them with you. My personal favourite just happens to be the first one I watched (Vasilisa Mikulishna, girl boss done right), but I also love their adaption of Cinderella, the Little Mermaid (as seen above), the Nutcracker (not as good, but still gorgeous), and lastly this little gem called Another Tale to Tell. Overall, these are just some gorgeous animations that are very clearly labours of love from a bygone era, and it'd be a shame if they were forgotten. ːsteamdanceː
Oh, and if you need more convincing, then the Russian Animated Adaptation of Treasure Island is the origin of the stronk walk meme. You're welcome.ːsteamsunnyː
~Asian Drama Replacement?~
I'm trying to think of a good Asian Drama to recommend here, but I can't think of any Christmas themed ones. So, instead, here are the first Holiday Specials Written by Bots. You're welcome.
I suppose I forgot to add a virtual hug to this Attack of the Virtual Hugs post...

SURPRISE TACKLE HUGSPLOSION RIGHT AT THE VERY END!! NYEHAHAHAHA! Go out there and have a great Christmas, you huggable person you! You deserve it! ːsteamsunnyː

But, hey. That doesn't mean you still don't deserve hugs. So, here is a pretty big hug for you! Hope you've had a wonderful summer and have an even more wonderful rest of your year. :3
So, the other day, on the way back from a mission's trip, I saw in a gas station a card-redemption thingy for Pokemon Crystal (2000s version). Didn't end up getting it, because prices, but when I got back home, I found that I already had Pokemon Gold (also old school version) on my 3DS anyway! So I've been playing that quite a bit. ːsteamdanceː It's been fun!
Trying to keep afloat, doing some stuff on the side, not really much I can do about the sequel when rent keeps creeping up on me. Who knows what life has in store?
Steam also seems to be introducing this system where I can link all my games together in one easy place, if I create a Community Group? I dunno. It might be worth looking into, so that you guys can easily find all of zee games in one place...
But enough about me! Let's get to the real juicy stuff!
So here's a guy I started watching because of Steven He... He does comedy skits on his main channel, but I am totally here for the reactions to reddit posts. He just seems like a super chill dude, and one of the more fun "reddit react" Youtubers I've seen. :P
And, well, here's a little pick me up song I'm listening to right now. It's another religious one, but just in case you can relate, I thought I'd share. :)
Oh, and I'm not sure I've shared this guy before, but here is the legendary game's master himself, Masahiro Sakurai! He's been uploading for a couple years now, and it kind of already made a splash in the game's world before now, but for those of you who don't know... Basically, he created a Youtube channel to help Indie Game Developers around the world make better games. And while not all of you are into game development yourselves, I figured I might as well share this with you because of Sakurai's sunny disposition, and upbeat attitude! He's just so much fun to watch, even on topics I don't really know anything about. So give his videos a watch, if you think you'd be interested! :3
And since I didn't get around to doing a write up last time, here's an Asian Drama to make up for it! ːsteamsunnyː
The Asian Drama this time around is called "Kill You Love You" and...the title is very uncreative, but it's still a pretty sweet show. Above is the mondo, compiled cut of all of the episodes, but if you want to watch the episodes in more manageable, bite sized chunks, the playlist for that is here.
The story, from what I can remember, is this... There is a Prince who is investigating the suspicious death of his late father, and is building an undercover army so he can rightfully take the throne back from the corrupt empress. But in order to throw suspicion off of him, he pretends to be a notorious womanizer so that he can build and strategize in peace, while everyone thinks he's off with some lady. Meanwhile, the leading lady is an assassin, who is charged with protecting him...but she doesn't get the memo, so she ends up trying to kill him instead. (Whoops.)
I'm not exactly sure what the "correct" terminology for this show format is, but this seems to be a mini-series? All the episodes are really short, so even though there's a lot of them, you can get through them fairly quickly, and at your own pace. (Similar to No Doubt in Us.) What I like about this format of T.V. Show is that I never feel like my time is being wasted. With the full-blown, 45 minute episodes of regular Chinese Dramas, the plot just drags its feet in getting anywhere, so nothing truly happens until Episode 15. Which sucks and is annoying. However, with these kinds of shows, where the episodes are around 10 minutes each, the writing has to make the most of its short runtime, so even if they don't get to the point immediately, they still get there a lot faster than they do in the regular shows...! (This doesn't always translate into good writing, but sometimes you'll be pleasantly surprised...!)
This show in particular I like for a few reasons. First of all, the main character seems like another generic stoic guy, but deep down he's a big sweetie. Second, since this story is from his perspective (and I suspect written by a man as well, but can't confirm) he comes across as a lot more sympathetic. He isn't this plank of wood, staring off blankly with nothing going on; he's a guy who's pretending to be someone he's not so that he can honour the legacy of his late father. He's purposefully guarded, not bland, and that may be subtle, but it makes a difference.
The assassin lady...is charming enough, from what I can remember. (It's been a while since I watched this show.) Her demeanor is believable for an assassin, and while she does seem to be clumsier than she should be at times (and a bit too petite to be believably athletic), she's not annoying or disrespectful towards the male lead.
Though, one thing I didn't particular like was how she reacted when she found out that the male lead was secretly engaged the whole time. Granted, that kind of news would rile any woman up, but he made it clear that it was an arranged marriage, he never met the other woman, and he had no feelings for her. I don't think it was fair for the script to blame the main guy, and then "comedically" punish him for something he had absolutely no control over. Main bro didn't deserve that.
So, yeah! That's my recommendations for this time around, and I hope you have a great Autumn coming up! :D :D :D Buh-bye!

So that's where you guys come in! So...um...are any of you still interested in seeing what I've been working on? ^^; I'm just really nervous about going through with uploading it... Let me know your thoughts because otherwise I have no idea how much interest there still is in this project as a whole.

Greetings all! I am back, and...don't have much to report. Wish I did, but I don't. But hey! Hugsplosion for you for being so awesome to read these three sentences! ːsteamthumbsupːːsteamhappyː
As for the sequel, I'm still working...on the same dialogue tree I've been working on for the past three/four months. Argh. It will end eventually (I hope).
We can't forget about the book, you know! It is still out, and the people who've ordered copies seem to be quite happy with them! ;) And that could be you, too!
And here are cupcakes. Can't forget about the cupcakes. ;) (For those of you on twitter, which I understand if you aren't, but if you are, the account "Nature is Amazing" is really fun, and I like a lot of their posts. Enjoy~)
Also, this is a weird question, but...do any of you know anything about A.I. Art? Like, I promise I won't use it for the game at all (as tempting as that is, seeing how I don't have the budget for artists right now), but I would love to ask for some insights from others for a potential future project.
But enough about that! Let's get to the fun portion of the announcement where I recommend stuff I've come across! :D
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhXfd5DUQxM So, this first one is pretty self evident, but this is Phoenix Wright Characters quoting actual dumb lawyer quotes! XD There's a whole series of these that are just great for a good laugh. (For, as we all know, Phoenix Wright characters don't act realistically in the slightest, so these quotes feel very accurate at times. XD)
I can't remember if I included any Muppets material in the past posts...actually, I think I did. But oh well! Here's a brief video reminder about how not to focus on the bad times and instead join the penguins throwing popcorn, and the chickens on a well-dressed moose. ;)
Here is a shameless self-insert fantasy cute comic I found. Seriously, why is she me? These comics seem to be from a webtoon called Nerd and Jock, which I haven't read the entirety of, but these little shorts come across my recommendations every so often, so I can't help but indulge. ;) Because how tiger would react in a relationship feels just like how I would react, except I lack those bulging muscles. Totally have the hair, though! XD
So this one is a bit out of the ordinary for me, as it's a fashion Youtuber, and I'm not really that much into fashion myself. Sort of. I design my character's outfits, and that's about it. But while I'm not much of a fashionista, Andrea's enthusiasm has clearly rubbed off on me. I picked the above video because it's a good introductory video to show off her infectious personality, but her main draw is obviously her fashion shorts, which are quite addictively fun. I know this, overall, is more of a "girlly" channel to feature, and I'm assuming that most of you reading this are guys...But if a burly kitchen renovator can even be drawn into her videos, then you can too. ;D (I literally looked for hours to find the video this comment was on, and I couldn't find it again. >_> But there are otherdudes who like watching Andrea's stuff too. As this comment says, she is the Bob Ross of Fashion. So give her a shot!) Also, the Belinda Chronicles. We cannot forget the Belinda Chronicles. (Part 1)(Part 2)(Part 3)(Part 4)(Part 5)
https://youtube.com/shorts/cwQdMiLsRvQ?si=KVKIemplQfLgAAxI . https://youtube.com/shorts/hydkhNaMX6c?si=1WiBAsSU4ZFDFjUX . https://youtube.com/shorts/XG8e2Zh9m30?si=zmOXnhVuMPA9l3J3 . https://youtube.com/shorts/_aY46flfYfU?si=c-WcTkRDfCTpcVWt . These are...Wattpad Parodies. I have no idea how to describe or explain the above shorts, so instead I will let you enjoy them at your own risk. XD It is something that has to be seen to be believed... (By the way, the comments are almost as entertaining as the videos themselves, so DON'T MISS OUT ON THEM! XD)
Whelp, why not pick yourself up with some Veggietales Metal music? :D :D :D I know many of you aren't religious, and I don't want to make you uncomfortable, but to be fair, Veggietales has someabsolutebangersin itssoundtrack. Ignoring the older 2000s Computer Graphics, Veggietales, as a whole, holds up a lot more than most children's media, I've found. It's not the graphics that matters, but the heart. :)
https://youtu.be/U6DFPujf928?si=N2CCq1QNm_GXj-Z9 And I might as well end with this one. I featured this guy in an older post, and then found this other video of his, that is quite inspiring. If you need a pick-me-up (as a dude), then this is the video for you. (mikelmcknight72's in particular is super hardcore, wow!) My heart goes out to you, and you deserve to know you are doing a good job, right where you are! :D
~~Asian Drama?~~
After spending several hours skimming through Andrea's Fashion Shorts to unsuccessfully find that one comment, I am pooped. Let's try again next time when I am not so fruitlessly tired. :P

So, I have a book called Handsome and Hideous™, as some of you might already know... You can read the Digital Version on Amazon, but I also recently got it physically printed, as I mentioned in my last announcement, and due to Amazon's stupidity, you cannot order it directly through their website. (You can read more details there.)
Now, initially, my plan was to try and make the book available for order as soon as I finished up Quest #6 in Centauri's Favourite Archer, which would then make its way onto Early Access. Unfortunately, this one dialogue tree is eating my soul and taking forever, so I might as well make the book publicly available now and worry about the Early Access Thingamajig later.
As stated before, I'm not exactly sure how I'm going to make this work, but for now, my ordering process will be something akin to... 1. You reach out with Friend Request to me on Steam. 2. We talk about swapping personal information in DMs. 3. I go to the Post Office as soon as I can and mail the book out to you. And I'm sorry, but I will be asking you to pay for shipping. I don't want to be a stickler, but I am pretty broke right now, so I will have to charge you for whatever the shipping costs are. >_<
{EDIT} I totally forgot about this, but there are also some little cards that I have in stock. (Images may appear slightly brighter in the photo than they do in real life. I put a slight filter on to keep the colours from looking extra dopey.) If you are interested in any of these, then feel free to ask about them to add to the book order! ːsteamsunnyː
If you have any problems, questions, concerns to share, then either ask in the DMs, or leave one of your lovely little comments down below. :)
Oh, and for those of you who are wondering about the Early Access Version of Centauri's Favourite Archer, I did mention in the previous post that I had Quests #1 - 5 finished, but I just wanted to try and finish up Quest #6 before posting. For those of you who are interested in seeing the Quest #1 - 5 Version of the game, then you can also reach out to me via Friend Request and DMs. I have a rendered version of Quests #1 - 5 available for playing, I just don't want to upload it officially for Early Access until Quest #6 is finished. Reach out to me if you are interested in playing Quests #1 - 5. ːsteamsunnyː
Lastly, here's a quick free hug for anyone and everyone who needs or wants one today. :3 Love you all~ Look forward to hearing from you guys! ːsteamdanceː

*HUGSPLOSION, JUST FOR YOU!!*
Anyway, the main reason for this post is I wanted to give you guys a brief update on what I've been doing to make up for my recent silence.
>Sequel News I've still been puttering away on the sequel, and was thinking of maybe submitting it for Early Access. Don't know what you guys think about that. I originally thought of Early Accessing the game after finishing Quest #5, but Quest #5 ended on a big cliffhanger annnnddd...wasn't sure if I wanted to end the Early Access version of the game on a big cliffhanger. So I've been writing Quest #6. And Quest #6 is an absolute doozy to write. Right now, I am working on one of the final cutscenes of that quest, which has a lot of branching dialogue options in it. This dialogue tree alone feels like I've been working on it for something like an entire month. I am very tired, and hope it will all be worth it.
>What About That Book Thing? So, great news! The printed version of my book arrived! Hooray! :D It actually arrived a couple hours after I finished my previous post! Great Valentines Day present, if you ask me!
Problem #1: So.....................aaaauuuugggghhhh... Okay, first of all, because of my books very specific dimensions (and the fact that I insisted on two colour pages being printed in the middle of a black and white book), I had to go to a private printing house to get them custom printed. Great. Except Amazon is stupid and won't let me link the books I have with the page I have for the digital copy. If I want to distribute my book with Amazon, I have to pay a $33 per month fee via Amazon's other service. I can't throw that kind of money around.
Problem #2: When getting my book printed, I thought of doing everything for the cover...except print the price of the book clearly on the back. Doh. I didn't think this was much of a problem, until I looked on Indigo/Chapters, which said that they wouldn't take new books unless they had the price tag clearly printed on the book. I feel so dumb now. So until I finish selling all of the books I got printed, I can't submit my book to a mainstream bookchain like Indigo/Chapters.
I have no idea how to get these books to you guys. I really want to, as a couple of you seemed interested, but I am so flummoxed by this that I have been putting off telling you guys about it. If any of you know how I could actually go about doing this, I would love to hear it. However, until then, I'm just thinking that maybe I should reach out to you guys via DMs to get your mailing addresses directly, and just mail them. Which, yes, does not seem practical or all that safe in the slightest. Any ideas, guys? Because I'm at a loss. @_@
Otherwise, take care. Really do hope you're doing well. Look forward to hearing from you.

I meant to make another entry into the Virtual Hugs series a while ago, but it just didn't work out. It's not like I was waiting for my book to come in, and waited three weeks just to find out that I would have to wait another three weeks for it to arrive! Total mystery! :D
~~YouTube Shenanigans~~
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/ez2TkqpcFSg If you're in the mood for (sorta) romance, then here is this Youtuber I found who is really into the Romance Genre. So much so that she has an entire series dedicated to the personification of four different romance genres (Contemporary Romance, Paranormal Romance, Fantasy Romance, and Historical Romance), being friends with each other and giving each other womanly advice. :3 Such as how a man should apologize for breaking up with the main character by making jewelry out of the bones of her enemies! :D But, in all seriousness, though, my favourite series by her is Book Goblin, because, somehow, this extremist behaviour is very relatable. XD

~~Asian Drama Recommendation You Are Totally, 100% Invested In~~ If you're going to spending Valentines Day alone like I am, then why not pick up on something light and fluffy to watch? This time I'm recommending Wrong Carriage Right Groom, because that one was a fun one that really surprised me! The title pretty much gives away the basic premise, but here I go anyway... XD
The story takes place in Ye Olde China (as a lot of these Asian Dramas I watch, do), where two women are getting married to guys they don't want to marry. One is a firecracker warrior babe who doesn't like being told what to do, and the other is a calm, stoic, thoughtful gal who is getting married as a means to sacrificially save her family from doom. On their way to their weddings in different towns, they get caught in a fierce rainstorm which causes them both to accidentally switch places and get toted off to the wrong town as well as the wrong groom. Firecracker girl ends up marrying the guy the calm gal was supposed to marry (a sickly guy with bad luck who is actually completely faking it), and calm gal ends up getting the guy that firecracker girl was supposed to marry (a widower general who looks like Steven He has had two wives already before who died due to reasons completely beyond his control). Which ends up being just fine by them, because they were kind of dreading the guys they were supposed to marry, and are much happier with their accidental husbands instead.
A couple things I like about this show. First of all, it doesn't have any of that annoying will-they-won't-they nonsense that is grating more and more on my nerves when I watch TV Shows nowadays. The girls already have their designated love interests, and apart from a couple of hiccups, it stays that way from beginning to end. Therefore, the majority of the story actually focuses on something new and interesting.
Second thing I appreciate is that there's no real "boy vs. girl" dynamics in the relationships. You would expect Little Miss Firecracker to be super domineering (which she is) and walk all over Sickly Guy, but he actually ends up being the dominant figurehead in their relationship. Why? Because he's smart and she listens to him. There's no arguing, there's no childish conversations about who should be in charge, there's just a silent understanding between them that they need to work together to accomplish their goals. And if that means letting the other person be in charge when it's appropriate, then so be it. The same goes for Calm Gal and General Guy--he lets her lead many times because he realizes that she is really good at thinking outside the box. But they're overall the more mellow couple of the show, so it's less noticeable.
That's not to say this show is without flaws, though. The fact that the main couples get together so easily, and that everything's so pleasant so early on, almost made me drop the show at one point, because I already felt satisfied with the status quo. I did keep going, and I'm glad I did, but it was definitely tempting to dip out at one point out of content-boredom.
The main reason I recommended this show for Valentine's Day is because it is, what I like to call, "Shipper Happy"--in that it's Trigger Happy with its ships. Apart from a couple of throwaway extras and a Eunuch, every character introduced is given a love interest. There are of course the two main couples, which are a given, but then there are these doctor characters who act as mentors, and what do you know? They happen to be long lost lovers and they get back together! Like...it was sweet, but it didn't feel earned? I would have preferred it if they were the one couple in the show that didn't get together right away, and waited until the very end to reconcile their differences. But as abrupt as that pairing was, it was not as bad as the random Princess that is randomly introduced halfway through because that one lovable side character needed a love interest. Sure. Why not? XD
Also, according to some of the comments I read, this show is a remake of a much older show of the same name. I can't tell you which version was better, but I thought the version I did watch, was cute, so that's the one I'm recommending. ;3
Despite its flaws, though, it's still a really fun watch. I didn't even get to the really sweet granny, and the story of the one designated evil couple, but I'll leave that intrigue for if you decide to watch the show. ;) Overall, a really lighthearted and fun experience about how sometimes little mix-ups can result in greater things happening.
Happy Valentines Day for those who are celebrating with someone they love and those who aren't! <3 <3 <3
Hey, so remember this ever so necessary announcement I made, not that long ago? Well, turns out I was actually on to something with that post! Because I'm almost done getting my book printed!! ːsteamsunnyː (This is just the proof-copy, I still need to make some last minute touche
If you're interested in getting a physical copy of my book which I'm sure maybe five of you actually are, then please DM me to ask for further details! When I tried to get Amazon to link to a 3rd Party Printing Company, it decided it didn't like that, so I have no idea how else to distribute these to you without paying a $40 Monthly Fee. Sorry about that.
Oh, and I should probably talk about the sequel a bit, shouldn't I?
So, I've been slowly puttering away on it, as you would see if you watch how much I spamTheIndieManiac on Twitter. Right now, I'm almost done writing the fifth quest for the game, which is more impressive and time consuming than it sounds.
Which got me thinking... Some of you expressed interest in playing/beta testing my game while it's still in development mush land. So, if you guys want, I was thinking I could you play what I've made so far. Maybe. If you guys don't think that's a really lame and dumb idea.
This would be the last time before the full release that I would allow people to play the game. I've also thought about putting it on Early Access, except I have no idea how that all works? Like, for what I've created so far, I would charge maybe $5? But, then again, I don't really wanna swindle you guys, plus if you buy the Early Access Game for $5 would that mean you get away with not paying the full price later?
I dunno. I dunno, I dunno. It's all up in the air, not even sure if I should even go about doing this, since it seems like a really weird idea. But I just thought I would ask you guys what you guys think, and find out if any of you are at all interested in the idea.
Either way...at least we can celebrate that my book...IS A BOOK!! >w< *Ahem.* Take care of yourselves!
Sooooooooooo, remember that book thing that I did a while back? Well, there may or may not be something exciting about it coming up soon...! ːsteamhappyː Also you might want to check this out about the revamp . Yeaaahhh, this is the main reason I posted this event. However, if I
Also you might want to check this out about the revamp. Yeaaahhh, this is the main reason I posted this event. However, if I type in any buzzwords about it in the description, Steam will automatically re-categorize this announcement to be in a category where most people won't see it, so I have to be super secret and stealthy about it this time...
Hallo, hallo! And I suppose it's "hallo"ed because it's almost Halloween! Oh ho ho ho! ...Yeah, I don't really celebrate it anymore. >_> A holiday of ghosts, zombies, and dancing skeletons really doesn't seem all that fun anymore when you had to put your dog down on the sam

...Yeah, I don't really celebrate it anymore. >_> A holiday of ghosts, zombies, and dancing skeletons really doesn't seem all that fun anymore when you had to put your dog down on the same day.
But, I don't wanna ruin your fun, so I'm gonna try and give some slightly themed videos to pretend that it's sort of in a similar vein as Halloween? I dunno, I tried. XD
~~Dem Videos You've All Been Dreading Waiting For~~
Lois Lane Marries So I'm starting off by recommending a playlist this time! It's a collection of videos going over all the times, in the history of the comic book industry, Lois Lane married someone other than Superman! From what I can tell, there was this comic book spin off series in the 1960s dedicated to Lois Lane, since comic books were so popular at the time. However, since the writers were all middle aged men, they didn't know how to write for an audience of teenaged girls, and came up with a whole bunch of stories where Lois Lane tries to marry someone. The result is...the above playlist. It is hilariously petty, silly, and sometimes just flat out bizarre. Watch if you just want to get a good laugh, or feel bad about a bad breakup! XD
In a similar vein of Lois Lane getting married to anyone and everyone who isn't Superman, here are Superman and Batman being terrible friends to each other and still just laughing it off. XD
As a bit of a palette cleanser, here is a compilation of Lois and Superman NOT being a bad couple, from My Adventures with Superman! :D I haven't seen the show, personally, but the entire internet agrees that these two have chemistry, and reading all the comments about guys finding tomboys attractive, gives gals like me hope. :3
And, to end it all off, here is Studio C! They have a wholebunch of videosthataretotallyworthbinging, but the above video was what started it all for me. I tend to like their stuff from around 2015 the most, but from what I've seen of their newer stuff, it ain't half bad either. :D Check it out if you're looking for a non-melodrama-related laugh!
~~This Month's Asian Drama Recommendation~~
This one you can actually find on Youtube this time, and it's called The Imperial Coroner! (Be sure to turn on Subtitles! ;D)
In Ye Olde Ancient China, there is a a cute little girl who applies to become the Imperial Coroner (Roll Credits~), and because she seems to have a real knack for it, she gets the job. The prince, however, suspects something sinister is afoot, because of a bunch of mysterious deaths that keep happening to political opponents and the like. So together, the Prince and the newly appointed Coroner begin to unravel this web of political intrigue through investigating all the various assassinations that they come across!
The most unrealistic thing about this show is how up-to-date the medical knowledge is. The main characters' detailed knowledge of human anatomy, fractures, and all sorts of things is kind of distracting when you think about the fact that they should be using Ye Olde Chinese Leeches or something to solve all their problems. But, otherwise, the show is quite enjoyable, if a little hard to follow in the beginning.
Also, there is no Love-Triangle Nonsense going on. Most of the characters are just focused on doing their jobs, and when romance comes up, there's a little bit of "will-they-won't-they" that shows up, but it's usually resolved pretty quickly. The two male characters are both pretty cool guys, and when a girl-boss-ish character shows up later, she's not annoying and is actually useful to the plot. :)
This one is more of a mystery series than the other Asian Dramas I've recommended, and it's kind of Halloweeny, what with the talk of dead people. So, if you're in the mood to binge a great show, then this is the one for you! :D
