We've implemented a Gif capturer into the game, so you can collect and share your most awesome combos and moments.
On the Main Menu, in the upper right hand corner you'll see a button you can enable. Clicking this will enable an automatic gif-capturer that will trigger whenever you're doing particularly awesome. Files will be saved in the following file path:
SteamApps\common\Blood Alloy Reborn\BloodAlloyRebornWindows_Data\gifs
Whether or not you have this automatic gif-capturer enabled, at any time during gameplay you can press the '/' key to manually trigger a gif capture. You'll see a notification below your health bar when it completes saving.
Can't wait to see your guys' sick combos! People have already been discovering new attack combinations that even I haven't thought of - show me your stuff! Feel free to tweet at me @FraynkWash and I'll RT the best stuff that comes my way :)

On the Main Menu, in the upper right hand corner you'll see a button you can enable. Clicking this will enable an automatic gif-capturer that will trigger whenever you're doing particularly awesome. Files will be saved in the following file path:

Hey guys, fresh new build out. We have Steam Achievements and Leaderboards in this one, along with new Menu art - why not, eh? (You should be able to freely use KB+M, controller, or mouse to click on whatever your heart's desire is in the menu.) We also have the ability to "Lock

We have Steam Achievements and Leaderboards in this one, along with new Menu art - why not, eh? (You should be able to freely use KB+M, controller, or mouse to click on whatever your heart's desire is in the menu.)
We also have the ability to "Lock cursor to screen" in the Options menu. This should be pretty handy for streamers with dual-monitor setups, so that you don't accidentally click outside of the game's virtual "window" during gameplay. When you enable this option, play around with the mouse sensitivity options to get a feel for what settings you like.
As always, feel free to be open with feedback :)

In this build: - Some of you had reported being able to boost through the ceiling of the jungle level. Added reinforcements so that shouldn't happen anymore. - Fixed a bug that was occurring for the only 2 people who had managed to kill the boss gunship twice in a single playthro

- Fixed a bug that was occurring for the only 2 people who had managed to kill the boss gunship twice in a single playthrough. (On the second run, the boss would just keep exploding, and would never actually die. Now he does, yay).
- Added Screenshake/Camera-movement level controls. If the default controls make you motion-sick, feel free to go into Options and turn it down to Medium or Low.
- Added "Mouse Lock" feature - if you're playing in windowed mode, or in dual monitors, this locks your mouse cursor to that screen/window, and uses mouse movement-per-frame to move the cursor, thus preventing you from clicking on your desktop accidentally.

We finally found and crushed that save corruption bug. Make sure you get this latest update, and if you were affected by it, clear your save data and make sure that Cloud Saving isn't "helpfully" replacing it. Check the pinned thread for a link to a level 3 save if you don't want to re-accrue about a half-hour's worth of experience.
Also fixed some text bugs, and made a few tweaks to the armor modifications. Enjoy!

Check the pinned thread for a link to a level 3 save if you don't want to re-accrue about a half-hour's worth of experience.

Hey guys, just pushed out a patch to the game. There was a save-file corruption bug that was happening if you impatiently hammered the enter/start key after dying to quickly restart - apparently sometimes that would interrupt the save process, which would corrupt the save data, m
Hey guys, just pushed out a patch to the game.
There was a save-file corruption bug that was happening if you impatiently hammered the enter/start key after dying to quickly restart - apparently sometimes that would interrupt the save process, which would corrupt the save data, making it think your level was like 8032039 and your high score was 309320349103942 or something equally nuts.
In the build we pushed this morning, that quick-restart ability has been taken out. I know, you'll have to watch the boring Results screen each time you die, but I figure that's more desirable than losing your save data. In the meantime, we're working on getting a better fix so you can still quick-restart and NOT get your data corrupted.
Later tonight, in the forums I'll be posting a dropbox link to a SaveData.gd file that you can download if this bug affected you that basically just gets you to level 4 right away, so you don't have to redo that half hour or so of leveling up to level 4 again.
Also in the build -
- Tuned some experience gain. You'll gain experience a little faster
- Got in a quick-support fix for 16:10 resolutions (1920x1200). You shouldn't be seeing any cutoff in UI or Menus anymore.
- Fixed a bug that was causing the boss to appear in the cyberpunk city too early. (Though hopefully none of you have gotten that far... otherwise I'll have to make the game EVEN HARDER)
- Reordered some of the "bounties", as some of the intro bounties were boring and stupid when you're just trying to learn how to play the game. "I just got this cool game Blood Alloy - it's asking me to NOT ATTACK FOR ONE MINUTE, OH EXCITING. NOT." Once you have a really good grasp of the movement and dodge mechanics, that challenge becomes a lot more fun and doable, but right at the get go it's dumb, so I swapped some stuff around.

There was a save-file corruption bug that was happening if you impatiently hammered the enter/start key after dying to quickly restart - apparently sometimes that would interrupt the save process, which would corrupt the save data, making it think your level was like 8032039 and your high score was 309320349103942 or something equally nuts.
