In this demo, choose Yuri (Type A or Type B) and play through the first 2 episodes of the full game; a perfect entry to get to know the crew and learn about the battle systems. But first, let’s introduce the playable characters in the demo!
Meet the Cutie Angels Cast
Yuri, who is the leader of the Cutie Angels, brings on a rag-tag crew of unlikely characters to become the number one delivery team.
Firstly, there’s the healer of the group, Suliya, who became a delivery worker with one main goal in her mind… finding treasure!
Next up, you have the slumber-iest of characters, Somnia, known to doze off at a moment’s notice (yes, even in battle).
Third up on the roster is martial artist mage, Ivris, known for her short temper. She definitely can cast a nasty spell on enemies, but what enemies really should watch out for is her knockout punch!
Now, we have Numero, the mad alchemist, known for creating mysterious chemical concoctions that’ll help boost party stats and paralyze the biggest of baddies.
Last, but certainly not least, you have Selma, the timid paladin. Even being armed to the teeth, Selma can be quite the scaredy-cat, especially against bugs, snakes, and frogs… you know, the usual things the best guardian knight is known to be afraid of.
There is also Luminous, the idol archer, who is not playable in this demo, but will be accessible in the full game. Like with any idol, she’s known to burst into a full-fledged song, so make sure you give her all the spotlight she needs!
Before setting off, head to the Request Board and choose your quest. Here, you’re given specific parameters, as well as the item you’ll need to deliver. Make sure you have enough space to hold the package. On top of the required delivery, it’s also smart to carry items and consumables that'll change the tide of battle.
After selecting your delivery on the Request Board, you’re ready to set off. Once you make your way to the game board, spin the compass to see how many spaces you’ll land. Each space has different events: a special dialogue scene, an item shop to purchase items unavailable at your town store, and even enemy spaces that can be occupied by Omoikurai—the archenemies of delivery workers (they’re pests).
In the first two episodes of the game, players will see a compass from 1-6. But in the full game, players will experience board maps where the environment can affect the roll from 1-3. Prep wisely and use items that can increase your compass rolls to efficiently explore these maps.
In turn-based battles, Yuri will order attacks, skills, or defenses on each squad member. Yuri can bring a total of 3 characters to battle, so make sure you choose characters that complement each other. When you choose a command, your squad member may choose to follow orders depending on their mood (read the mood blurb below). If they do happen to listen, they can unleash a pretty devastating attack with some cool flashy animation. Pillows hit harder than you expect (ask Somnia).
Battle Speed can also be toggled during battle—an added quality-of-life system. Players can choose from four Battle Speeds: 1.0, 1.5, 2.0, or 2.5.
Mood plays a huge role in the battle system. Pay close attention to each character’s facial expression, which can signify that they’re in duress (e.g. Somnia’s sleepy face). The success rate of each choice, whether it's an attack or defense, is dependent on the character's mood! When your crew decides to disobey, they’ll completely do something different that can affect your turn and overall game plan. Sometimes, the squad has a mind of their own and a surprising outcome could help the crew!
When the mood is right, however, the battles definitely step up a notch! Each playable character has special skills and move sets that’ll help out the Cutie Angels squad.
Oh, and if you end up facing any frogs in battle, be aware that Selma will freak out!
As mentioned, Omoikurai are monsters that are out to get ya and you’ll see them moving around the Board Map. The only way to stamp them out is to use your Relic Weapon attack. Once the Omoikurai is weakened, Yuri can cast their Relic Attack- a unique special move that’ll surely smash the Omoikurai.
Even with your powerful crew, you’ll end up finding/buying items that’ll help your team excel. The obvious items that help are healing and SP potions that can replenish your battling needs. There are also items that can poison, paralyze, and help you escape battles you may not even need to fight (especially if you’re feeling under leveled). Don’t forget to keep your team healthy! As you traverse through the board map, make sure you visit item shops and explore areas that can provide unique items that cannot be purchased at your general store. Exploration is encouraged!
There ya have it! A short(ish) list of things you’ll need to manage when leading a successful delivery. There are many other aspects of the game you'll experience (we can't spoil everything!), but the free demo offers a great introduction to Calamity Angels: Special Delivery.

Survival Mode DLC brings a new nonstop brawl to the games!
Wanna see who reigns supreme in survival mode? All survival mode records are stored on an online ranking system through Steam. High ranking individuals also receive additional rewards!
How to Unlock in-Game: Survival Mode will be available upon unlocking the Colosseum in their respective titles.
Additional Notes: BGM can be changed during survival mode. Players can pick the BGM or have it shuffle and play at random.
The Shares Quests DLC unlocks one additional quest for Planeptune, Lastation, Lowee, and Leanbox - a total of 4 brand-new quests!

Developed by Artisan Studios in Canada, this game brings the characters of the self-referential Neptunia™ series to life in a whole new 2D way. Each character was hand-drawn by Tsunako, the artist behind the series, then animated by computer magic to create a world that’s mysteriously gone from three dimensions to two. Death end re;Quest takes the classic turn-based RPG and turns it on its head. Players are able to change the game's genre and switch game modes from RPG into fighting, shooter, and even a slot mode! You'll also be able to jump at will between the in-game world and the real world to investigate your missing friend, unlocking one of multiple endings. Choose wisely as lines between fantasy and reality will begin to blur...
Story
Arata Mizunashi, a video game programmer, receives a notification from an email sent to him by Shina Ninomiya, a colleague of his who went missing nearly one year ago. Together, they worked to create World’s Odyssey (W.O.D.), an immersive virtual landscape powered by breathtaking, state-of-the-art technology. That is, until Shina's sudden disappearance put a swift halt to production. Arata discovers the startling revelation that Shina Ninomiya was stuck inside of “W.O.D.” the whole time. When Arata delves hurriedly back into the lines of code haunting his forsaken project, he realizes that his game is now ravaged by an infestation of bugs, and that Shina is its only active player. Arata soon learns that a nefarious force prevents him from extracting Shina out of the game. Her only way out? She must complete the game to unlock the perfect ending—an outcome with a success rate of 1%. On their journey, they encounter a slew of NPC characters that blur perceptions of humanity and A.I.-technology, setting into a motion a thrilling narrative that calls into question the differences between the virtual world and ours.
Little do they know what horrors await them on both sides of the screen...
Key Features
Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction? – Jump between reality and in-game modes, as players will need to investigate in the real world view to solve the mysterious inner-workings of the World Odyssey, and switch to an in-game view mode to battle against glitched-out monsters. Successfully achieving the true ending will require players to tread carefully, as every turn can ultimately lead to disaster.
Turn-Based RPGs Flipped Upside Down – In this turn-based command battle system, you can roam freely and duke it out with fearsome monsters. During battle, players can change the game’s genre from a first-person shooter to even a fighting game!
You’re Buggin’ Out – While exploring, players will need to activate character-specific dungeon skills to access hard-to-reach areas and hidden treasures!
Follow the White Rabbit and Discover a Bug Infested World – In this hyper-realistic game world, players must help out Shina escape a game universe filled with infected bosses and mesmerizing environments!
