After 3 years of development, I'm finally releasing my first game! This was always a dream of mine. Since I was a kid, I can't remember a single moment in my life when I didn't want to become a game developer, and now it's closer than ever.
Thank you so much for your support throughout the entire development. I read all the feedback and applied everything that made sense for the game's current direction.
Well... it stays there, and you can even carry your progress over into the full game. But I'd suggest starting a new save, especially if you played a long time ago.
I've implemented a ton of quality of life features in v1.0.0, and there are also new items for you to craft. You can always go back to the first act and craft them again, but in my personal opinion it's nicer to experience the game as a whole.
The only exception is if your save file is older than July 2026. In that case it won't be compatible with the current version, so you can use the same save slot to start a New Game +, where you begin with a few potions to make your progress easier :)
The Release contains an entirely new act, with:
5 new monsters
2 new bosses
7 new resources to collect
A new gathering skill: BugCatching
70 new items
2 new crafting stations
15 new challenges
That adds roughly 20 hours of gameplay (depending on how you play).
You can use items from your chests when crafting. (This one came from your feedback)
You can use items from your chests when unlocking a new monster in the CombatPortal.
The map now shows what you'll find when you unlock a tile, giving you a visual cue of what's coming next.
You can cancel an ongoing craft by clicking the "X" in the corner.
The Stove stops consuming fuel automatically, so you don't need to stop it manually.
Items are split equally across all Stove slots when transferring with the "Shift + Click" hotkey, making processing faster.
You can now craft multiple potions at once in the Cauldron, you just need to click it again.
You can enchant an equipped item without having to unequip it first.
When you remove a bag, the deposited items become read-only, so you can still take them out.
The fishing mini-game is a bit faster and now has only 2 lives, making it easier to play.
You can use merged "Orbs" to enchant items at the enchantment table. Previously, you had to use raw essence.
Long story short... it will be USD 4.99, and keep in mind the price will be localized for all regions, as expected.

Here are some updates to make your life easier!
Previously:
Your inventory slots would deactivate all the slots previously active by the bag. It gave the impression that you lost your items because you unequipped your bag, forcing you to "Sort" your inventory to equip your bag again.
Now:
Your inventory slots that contain any item will become a "read-only slot," meaning that you can still see and remove items from it!
Previously:
You only had the chance to increase your inventory when you face Rock Dude, and even then you don't have a lot of inventory space to make a custom set for farming and killing mobs.
Now:
A new item was added to the Crafting Table: the "Wooden Chest". It will cost 10 simple logs and 5 rocks to be crafted, and you can use it to store your items. It can be added to the map by dragging it, and removed by double-clicking it with your right mouse button.
Previously:
You had to unequip any Tool or Equipment to apply an orb, basically adding one more click to the entire process, and a possible issue for the bag.
Now:
You can apply any Orb on all the equipped items!

Pretty Rock - Use the Stove to smelt Copper Ore into Copper Bar.

A bomb spawned under your mouse, didn't it? - Get 20 resources from the mining mini-game.

The Blender is a new crafting station that processes items into Juices and Essences. Juices fuel the Combat Portal, and Essences are merged into Orbs to enchant your gear.
- Equipment Essences:
Obtainable by processing any Equipment.
- Tool Essences:
Obtainable by processing any Tool.
- Green Juice:
Obtainable by processing Woods and Fishes.
- Gray Juice:
Obtainable by processing Rocks, Ores, and Bars.
- Purple Juice:
Obtainable by processing any Monster Drop.

All weapons shared the same attack stat; choosing between melee, ranged, and magic felt pointless. Gear drops were also underwhelming since a duplicate item was always identical to the one you already had.
-> Currently:
Combat now has three attack types and three defense types:
Melee attack / Normal defense
Ranged attack / Magic defense
Magic attack / Evasion
Each attack type counters a specific defense, so your weapon choice actually matters now.
We also introduced Equipment Orbs and Tool Orbs. Merge 10 Essences to craft one, and apply it to any item to randomly add up to three new attributes.
Every drop now has the potential to be better than what you already have.
If you have played Path of Exile, think of it as our version of the Orb of Alteration.

The Combat Portal used items as fuel, converted into time. This caused a balance problem since higher-level monsters required the same resources to summon as lower-level ones.
-> Currently:
The time mechanic and fuel slot are gone. In their place, we added 3 new Item types called Juices and a new crafting station, the Blender. Each monster now requires a specific amount of juice to spawn. Lower-level monsters cost less; higher-level monsters cost more.
You always know exactly how many monsters you can summon with what you have.
We added the Bark Pad, an in-game encyclopedia you can access with a right click. It covers all available game mechanics, so you always have a reference handy without leaving the game.
We rearranged and rewrote quest sequences with better text and improved rewards, making the early game more intuitive and accommodating all the new items. The Quest UI also got an upgrade and now occupies the full screen.

Targets would spawn periodically and drop one resource per click. Simple, but not very engaging.
-> Currently:
Each gathering activity now has its own mini-game that rewards active players:
Trees: Dodge spikes to collect Logs and Fruits
Rocks: Click rocks and defuse bombs to gather items
Fishing: Follow a sequence in a memory game to catch fish
I will give you guys a quick spoiler about the full game, and then write an entire post about it later on.
