Your apprentices just leveled up. Two big additions to what Greg, Jesse, and Walter can do for you:
🐄 Barn Product Collection — Apprentices now collect products from your barn animals and bring them to the front of the market. Sit back and watch the goods stack up.
🥊 Thief Protection — Apprentices now actively guard the market against thieves. No more losing goods to sneaky visitors.
On top of that, some of the existing apprentice features have had their prices reduced — hiring hands is now more accessible.
🚨 Critical Fixes
Client Harvestable Count: Players connecting as clients were seeing "0" for harvestable products even when there were plenty. Fixed — clients now see the correct counts.
Kraken Set — Client Visibility: Fixed an issue where the Kraken set wouldn't appear for clients and couldn't be found in the market after loading.
Recycling System — Client Destroy: Fixed a bug where clients couldn't destroy items in the recycling system.
Spoiled Products in Fresh Crate: Placing spoiled products in a fresh product crate would still let them sell as fresh. Fixed — mixing spoiled with fresh now spoils the fresh ones too (as it should).
🔧 Bug Fixes
Apprentice Camera Lock: Assigning a task to an apprentice who already had one would leave the camera stuck on them. Fixed.
Asparagus Icon: Asparagus was showing a seed icon instead of its product icon. Fixed.
Decoration Item Icons: Many decoration items were displaying incorrect icons. Fixed.
Roulette Sound Settings: Roulette game sounds weren't tied to the audio settings. Now they are.
Customer Shelf Congestion: Customers could get stuck in front of shelves. Fixed.

🔧 Bug Fixes
Critical Co-op Farm Bug: The critical client-side bug in the farm system has been fixed — you can now do everything together in co-op. Huge apologies for this one, it shouldn't have taken this long.
Market Stock Panel: The market stock panel you check with the TAB key now works error-free and in sync. What you see is what's actually there.
Quality Lighting: Fixed an issue where lighting would dim incorrectly based on different qualities.
License Panel — Sushi & Sandwich Cars: Fixed an issue where the "Owned" text wasn't showing after purchasing sushi and sandwich cars in the license panel.

💡 Greenhouse Lights
The greenhouse used to go dark at night. Lights have been added — it's now properly lit around the clock. No more fumbling around in the dark to check on your crops.
⚖️ Balance Changes
Fish Prices: Based on your feedback that fish prices were too high and in many cases fishing alone was making massive money, fish prices have been updated and moved to a much more reasonable pricing model.
Day Start Timing: The day was ending too fast — by the time you'd prepped everything and were ready to sell, half the day was already gone. Also based on your feedback, the day now only starts progressing the moment you open the market. Take all the prep time you need.
🔧 Bug Fixes
Sushi Restaurant Menu: The menu at our little sushi restaurant wasn't descriptive enough, and there was a mix-up with the sushi colors. Both fixed.
Apprentice Trash Task Lock: If you assigned an apprentice to clean up trash and then threw out any trash yourself, the apprentice would get stuck and stop doing anything. Fixed.

The character controller has been reworked. Movement is now faster and more comfortable — no more sluggish response, no more fighting the controls.

Quest Completion: Fixed various issues around quest completion — quests now register and finalize as they should.
Quest Save Data: Fixed an issue where quests you'd already completed and delivered would be lost after loading a save. Your progress now sticks.
Monitor Switching: Fixed a bug that occurred when switching to a second monitor. Transitions between screens are now smooth.
Connection Feedback: In the old version, when a player couldn't connect, no feedback was shown. The game now clearly tells you why the connection failed — no more guessing.

Playing solo is one thing, but we wanted to give you a real way to socialize, meet friends, and build your island together. A lobby system and voice chat have been added to the game — so you can find friends and experience much of the content together.
🗺️ Map — No More Getting Lost
Until now, everything except a few mysterious stories was shown on the mini-map in the bottom-left corner. A full map has been added — accessible via the M key or the pause menu — where you can get information and view locations in detail. And yes, you'll never lose track of your friends again.
👷 Worker System
You can now hire 3 apprentices — Greg, Jesse, and Walter at your service. Handle island tasks much faster with them by your side.
📚 Tutorial Rework & Island Lessons
The tutorial has been reworked from the ground up — much clearer, much more helpful. On top of that, we've added a new tab called Island Lessons where you can at least learn and experience the production processes step by step.
🐾 New Animals
A lot of new animals have joined the island:
🐴 2 different horses — carry your items and get around fast
🐕 Dogs and 🐱 cats — adopt a cute companion for the island
🐑 Sheep — collect wool and mutton, then sell them
🌱 Fertilizer Machine
With the fertilizer machine, you can produce different fertilizers that affect your seeds in unique ways — making your crops much more productive.
🎨 UI & UX Panel Improvements
Panels across the game have been reworked — both UI and UX are in a much better place now.
🎣 Fishing
Fishing has been added. Grab your boat, head out, and catch some beautiful fish. Depending on their rarity, you can hook very rare catches and sell them for serious money.
🍣 Sushi Market
Our sushi market is at your service. Use the fish you've caught to prepare sushi and sell them — a whole new income stream.
🖼️ New Decoration Items
New decoration items are ready to bring color to your market. Get them and give your shop a fresher, better look.
🔧 Bug Fixes & Improvements
Chronic Delivery Bug: The long-standing bug during the product delivery point quest has been resolved. No more errors, no more lost items.
Big Optimization: Compared to the Early Access version, many optimizations have been made — you'll get significantly better FPS.
Key Binding: Key binding has been added — you can now customize keys to match your own playstyle.

Not everyone plays with a QWERTY layout. Not everyone's hands are the same. And frankly, some default keys just don't feel right.
You can now remap keys to whatever you want. Head into the settings, pick your action, and set it to the key that makes sense for you. AZERTY layouts, left-handed setups, muscle memory from other games — all supported now.

🔄 On-screen prompts update automatically — if you rebind "Throw" from Q to F, the game will show F everywhere the tooltip appears

💾 Save System
Save Slot Overwrite Protection: When all three save slots were full and you started a new game, an existing save could get overwritten. The game now stops before starting and warns you instead.
No Slot Selected Warning: Fixed an issue when starting the game without selecting a save slot. It's now handled cleanly with the right prompt.
🐾 Pets
Pet Name Sync: Fixed a mismatch where the name floating above your pet's head could differ from the name shown in the interaction prompt. Your pet's name now appears exactly as you typed it, everywhere.
🪧 Signs
Drawings Persistence: Fixed an issue where the drawings you made on signs would disappear after quitting and re-entering the game. Your artwork now properly comes back with your save.
📦 Placement
Overlapping Placement: Fixed an issue where fast clicking could place an item in a spot that overlapped with another object. The placement check now runs at the exact moment of placement — no more sneaking things into taken spots.
🎮 Controls
Lingering Meter Bar: Fixed an issue where a certain meter bar could stay on screen longer than it should. The bar now disappears immediately when you release the key.

🐾 New Feature: Pets
You can now adopt a pet. A cat or a dog — each with its own personality — is waiting to be part of your story.
Pick one, give them a name, and they're yours. They'll follow you across the island, tag along on deliveries, wait for you at the market, and just... be there. Because sometimes it's nice to have someone by your side who isn't waiting for their groceries.

The island is big. Your legs are not.

But that's not all. Horses can carry cargo, too. Load up saddlebags and crates and haul your harvest in one trip instead of five. And yes — you can name your horse. Meet Secretariat. Meet Shadowfax. Meet whatever you decide.

🏀 New Feature: Basketball
Sometimes running a market gets serious. Sometimes you just want to mess around with a friend.
A basketball minigame has been added to the island. Grab a ball, shoot some hoops, and earn cash for every basket you sink.
Why add it? Simple — we want more things you can do together with your friends in the game. Not everything has to be about work. Shoot around between deliveries, settle bets with your co-op partner, or just chill. The island is bigger than the market counter.

🌱 New Feature: Fertilizer Machine
Until now, empty crates only had one purpose: sell them off for a bit of cash. That felt like a waste.
There's now a fertilizer machine right across from the greenhouses. Drop your empty crates in and it'll break them down into fertilizer — giving your farming setup a serious boost.
For now, 3 fertilizer types are available. This is only the beginning — the fertilizer system will expand significantly in upcoming updates, with more variety and deeper integration into your farm.

⌨️ Quality of Life: Number Key Inventory Switching
The mouse wheel was the only way to scroll through your inventory slots. That's a lot of scrolling.
You can now switch inventory slots with the number keys 1-2-3-4-5. Faster, snappier, and a lot easier on the wrist.
🔧 Bug Fixes
Wide Pantry Shelf/Rack — Loss of Space: Fixed an issue where crates couldn't be placed on the wide pantry shelf/rack even though there was clearly enough room. (Reported by Aussienutz — thanks!)
Bag Thrown Through Cellar Wall: Fixed a bug in the corner of the fully-expanded cellar where throwing a selected bag with Q would send it straight through the wall.
Host vs Invitee Market Lighting: Fixed an issue where the host saw proper market lighting while invited players saw none (or vice-versa). Everyone now sees the same lighting.
Buggy Delivery Points: Fixed issues with delivery points — particularly around pirate deliveries — that could cause the location to behave unpredictably.

Let's be honest — the pantry was a mess.
Products would pile up inside in a chaotic jumble, with no way to bring order to the chaos. Not anymore.
The pantry can now be properly organized with shelves. Four different shelf types have been added, letting you arrange your stock the way you want — by type, by category, or however your inner shopkeeper sees fit.

Catching a thief used to feel a bit... weightless. Not anymore.

A big one. We've done a serious pass on performance across the board.
Results vary by hardware, but on average we're seeing a jump from 85 FPS to 120 FPS. Smoother gameplay, snappier response, less heat from your machine — all wins.

Character customization and gender selection have arrived.
Before you start your adventure, you'll now step into a brand-new character creation screen. Choose your gender, pick a hairstyle that suits you, set your skin tone, and add accessories — earrings, beards, mustaches, and more depending on what you choose. The pirate ship in the background is waiting, but the look that boards it is up to you.

Inventory Lock After Recycling Spoiled Items: Throwing a spoiled item into the recycle machine left the item stuck in your hand — you couldn't drop the bag, couldn't buy a new one, and any purchase attempt would crash the game. Fixed.
Frozen Player After Loading a Save: If you ran into either of the bugs above, your save could get corrupted. Reloading would leave you holding an item you couldn't use, unable to switch slots, drop items, or interact with the bag system at all. Fixed.

A brand-new Mini Sushi Restaurant has arrived on the island.
Head to the Builder and upgrade your Sushi Restaurant to unlock 5 different sushi recipes, one by one, in sequence. Each upgrade brings a new dish to your menu — and a new way to turn your daily catch into profit.
Use the fish you've caught out on the water to prepare these dishes and serve 5 distinct sushi menus to your customers. The better you fish, the better you cook.

🔧 Bug Fixes & Improvements
End-of-Day Report — Online Tablet Order Income: Income from orders accepted and delivered via the market tablet wasn't appearing in the end-of-day report. Successful deliveries now show up both as income and as sold-item entries in the report.
Achievements (Co-op): In multiplayer, reputation achievements were only awarded to the host. Reputation achievements are now granted to all players on their own accounts (Market / Village / Kingdom / Pirate).
Corrupted Save on Exit with Damaged Item: Exiting to the main menu while holding a spoiled/rotten item could corrupt the save and trigger various strange bugs. This has been fixed — damaged items no longer corrupt the save.
Save Reliability (Counters): A counter-related issue could potentially corrupt the entire save file. Such issues are now isolated and no longer affect the rest of the save.
Boat Ladder: Climbing back onto the boat from the water was too difficult. The boat ladder has been enlarged to make boarding easier.
Invisible Wall Stutter: Moving along the invisible wall boundary occasionally froze the game for about 2 seconds, and in some cases the boat could get stuck. Fixed.
Gingerbread Clipping: Holding the gingerbread cookie item caused model clipping issues. Fixed.
Daily Settlement Screen: The order count shown on the sleep settlement screen was incorrect and order profits weren't included. Both have been corrected.

The waters around the island have always been there — but now, you can actually reach them.
Two brand-new boats have arrived at the island, and they're yours to use.
Load up your oars, hop in, and push off from the shore. Whether you're heading out solo or cruising with a friend, the open water is finally calling your name.
🎣 New Feature: Fishing
Bobbing on the water isn't just scenic — it's productive. Four different fishing rods are now available, each suited for different situations and skill levels.
And the waters? They're teeming with life. 10 brand-new fish species have been added to the game — from common catches you'll reel in daily, to rare, mysterious creatures lurking in the island's hidden zones. Not every fish will reveal itself easily. Some secrets are only found by those willing to explore.

Chicken Placement: Fixed an issue where chickens could not be placed in the expanded sections of the barn.

Pie Clipping: Fixed a bug where the pie would clip underground in certain situations.
