Lately we have received a lot of requests for keys to this game, but no work has been done on this game for a long while due to other projects, and the fact that porting this game from an earlier version of Unity to a newer version, or even a different game engine, would take a considerable amount of time.
So why aren't we giving out keys anymore?
For one, it's the new Steam rules regarding handing out keys. We do not want to be on Valve's bad side, and wish to keep our relationship with Valve as good as we can when it comes to this platform for game releases.
For two, it will diminish the value of this game, and can be abused. Imagine if I were to give out 10000 keys to someone. That's per the game's price today a lot of money in potential value. Admittedly, this game has not sold the best and performed that well due to sad happenings during the development, and that we were all pretty poor back then and could not afford to fix anything. However, this is not to say we don't have a certain level of pride in what we have accomplished, and that as a business entity we need to keep track of who we are dealing with and for what purpose. We need to know that the investment of giving out keys will be worth it to us.
So please, don't ask for keys anymore.
