Hello to all new and returning players,
First of all, thank you sincerely for your support, patience, and understanding toward CaseCracker 3.0. Since the game launched, we have received a great deal of feedback, including both encouragement and reports of existing issues. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused by the current problems in the game.
During this time, we have been working overtime to investigate and fix these issues, while continuing to improve the overall experience based on your feedback. The following items have now been addressed and adjusted:
Fixes and Optimizations
Fixed an issue where content entered in the built-in Notebook could sometimes disappear.
Fixed an issue where excerpted content would sometimes fail to appear in the clue excerpt section.
Adjusted the email related to “Manual Save” and added an external data backup tool. The email previously titled “Manual Save” has now been changed to “Data Backup,” and its contents have also been updated to guide players to obtain the data backup tool.
The rule that each email can only be replied to once remains unchanged for now. However, players can now use the data backup tool to back up their save data before replying, allowing multiple attempts. At the same time, most email replies do not affect the main storyline. For the small number of more important email replies, we have also added stronger prompts to help prevent accidental choices.
To clarify, whether an email reply is correct or not will not affect achievement unlocks.
Optimized some in-game text.
Fixed logic issues present in certain cases.
Regarding the issue some players reported with the text-selection copy feature:
Some players reported that they were unable to properly select text when copying by highlighting, or that the selected text would not appear in the search box. After investigation, most of these issues appear to be related to the PC runtime environment.
Some players had an emulator running on their computer, which may affect mouse positioning. Others had phone-to-PC transfer features enabled, which may take control of the system clipboard and prevent copied content from being written properly.
If you encounter a similar issue, we recommend first checking whether you have an emulator, phone-PC transfer, clipboard sync, or related features enabled. Please try disabling them before relaunching the game.
We will continue to optimize the experience and fix issues as quickly as possible based on your feedback, and we hope to help everyone complete this final investigation more smoothly.
Thank you again for your feedback and understanding. And thank you to every player who has once again accessed the system.

Since the release of CaseCracker in 2022, we would not have come this far without the support and companionship of every player along the way.
To celebrate the launch, CaseCracker 3 is available at a limited-time 10% launch discount.
In addition, we are also introducing the CaseCracker Franchise Bundle. Players who already own CaseCracker and CaseCracker 2 can purchase the bundle during the launch period and receive an extra 10% off on top of the launch discount.
Compared with previous entries in the series, this installment features a larger overall scale and greater difficulty. Long play sessions may lead to fatigue due to mental overload, so for the best experience, we recommend planning your playtime appropriately based on your own pace.
The side stories in this title are also closely intertwined with the main storyline. We strongly recommend exploring as much information as possible in order to enjoy a more complete and in-depth narrative experience.
Whether you are a longtime friend who has been with us from the beginning, or a new player stepping into the world of CaseCracker for the first time, we sincerely hope that in Chicheng, you will find a story—and answers—of your own.
Thank you for playing, and welcome to the world of CaseCracker.

As the release date drew closer, work got busier by the day, and the pressure kept building.
As the person in charge, I drank quite a bit to blow off some steam. Once the alcohol hit me, I made the classic mistake every man makes—I opened Steam and started clicking around wildly in the backend.
When I finally sobered up, I realized I had changed the original release date to 15:00 on May 13, and there was no way to change it back.
This does not quite match our original promotional schedule, but what is done is done, so we might as well roll with it:
CaseCracker 3 will officially launch at 15:00 on May 13.
We hope you will log in and experience it the moment the system goes live. If you enjoy the system, we would also appreciate it if you could recommend it to more players.
Thank you for all your support along the way. We will be waiting for you in Chicheng.

My name is Yao Yu, and I am currently the project lead at Black Robe Inc.
After the original project lead of CaseCracker went missing, Chairman Ge Meiling personally invited me to take over the project. To be honest, although the terms she offered were indeed very generous, I wasn't particularly interested at first.
What truly changed my mind was not the money, but the cases.
While reviewing the existing materials for CaseCracker, I noticed that some of the cases involved details that closely overlapped with several urban legends I had been investigating recently.
For a long time, these stories had been dismissed as rumors, coincidences, or tales deliberately fabricated by certain people. But if they really are just legends, then why have they appeared so frequently in clues connected to different cases across Chicheng over the past two years?
I do not believe that a series of abnormal signs appearing one after another in such a short period of time can be mere coincidence.
I suspect that behind these so-called "urban legends" lies something unknown.
To me, this is not merely a project handover, but an opportunity to continue digging deeper.
And now, I can officially announce:
CaseCracker 3.0 will officially launch on Steam on May 14.
I hope you'll add "CaseCracker 3.0" to your Steam wishlist right now, and when it officially launches on May 14, step into the cases yourself and uncover the whole truth!
