OPEN UP! IT’S ANNIVERSARY TIME!
Can’t believe it’s been a year already. And what a year it was! We were excited to wake up every day, because we got to see new theories, fan art and discussions about No, I’m not a Human. Many of you showed an outpouring, overflowing amount of support for the game. And we say how important it is for us every chance we get – and we mean it. Even now. Thank you forever more!
A year isn’t a whole lot of time, but it’s enough to do some reflection over the game release and make some light planning for the future. So, what’s on the minds of Trioskaz developers? What are they up to? Here are some insights from the team:
“To thank you for the support, we want to let you know that we plan to continue making games that touch us on the personal level and deliver unique stories for you to enjoy! We plan to release a few more updates for No, I’m not a Human and launch Lost in the Roots, a game about guilt. We’re also preparing to release Susser Tod, a game that was originally intended to be part of Violent Horror Stories 2. And we’re starting development on some unannounced games that we’ll be able to show you in the future!”
“Your support has been absolutely astonishing. We thought that making games that hardly anyone sees was our destiny for the foreseeable future. But you’ve helped to realize that personal stories still attract players. Thank you for everything!”
“With your support, facing the end of time isn’t so scary.”
“It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since the release of the game. And you’re still enjoying the game, waiting for the updates, making fan art. This helped us to survive through this especially hot summer. Hopefully, we will be able to treat you with the next update.”
Now back to the game! We don’t gather any data really, but we can see how many people have reached a certain ending. And you could say it’s somewhat poetic, this is what we can track in a game about the end of everything.

A surprising amount of people ended their story in the claws of the Pale Visitor. It’s almost like some of you welcomed him in, huh. Well… very soon you might be able to invite a more innocuous copy of him into your house. More details will have to wait though.

But this might not be the only new interaction you’d get. Yes, we’re talking about the upcoming update. What kind of interaction? Well, we’re not spoiling that, but it’s pretty substantial.

We’re also adding a little something for someone little. We’ve heard that many of you would like to see a better fate for the most innocent human being in the game – the neighbour’s daughter. As it happens, we’ve actually discussed this ending for a long time, but only now we finally decided on how you would achieve it and what it would entail.

And if you ever felt like it’s a waste to let those potatoes in the basement spoil – you’d be glad to learn that we’re adding Moonshine Still in that update as well. Finally, you’ll have something with a kick after all those months of drinking beer.

As for its gameplay purposes, well, let’s say it’s pretty meta in all regards. And yes, that’s why we’re calling the update Moon Shine. At least in part.
There is actually quite a lot more coming up in the update and most of it is new content. Of course, the main question would be “WHEN?”. Well, we need just a bit more time to polish things up, but not too long. Is it coming out before GTA VI??? Maybe, maybe… you’ll definitely hear about it, we’ll tell you as much!
And while you’re waiting for the update, here’s the last small feature for you to mess around with – points shop items! That’s right, NINaH-themed profile avatars, backgrounds, frames, and more are already available. Customize your profile and let every visitor on Steam know that it’s not your first end of times rodeo.
Now, let’s wrap it up with some fan art appreciation thread. And you drew a LOT of it throughout the year, so it was hard to pick just a sample of it. Which is why if you feel stirred and awestruck by what you see in this post – go and explore more of No, I’m not a Human fanart and support their creators!

It's a 2D adventure with a tangled story about guilt, in which a girl is kidnapped and held captive in some unknown attic located somewhere inside a giant living Forest in the countryside. Who and why has taken the girl to such a godforsaken place? And what do you do when you have nowhere to run?
Well, that about wraps it up… for now! Remember, the Moon Shine update is just around the corner.
See you in another post, and then some!
