This month's rotation brings the Egyptians back as a playable civilization, alongside a complete refresh of the multiplayer map pool. On top of that, we're introducing an entirely new battlefield:
🗺️ New Map
(4) The Cyclades (NEW!)
Whether you're a returning commander or discovering the game for the first time, now is the perfect time to jump into battle and experience a fresh strategic challenge.
Update 0.90 Patch Notes
Update 0.90 focuses on one of the most requested areas of the game: AI improvements, while also delivering numerous stability fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
🌍 New Languages
Added full Turkish language support.
Added full Korean language support.

🧠 Smarter AI
The AI has received a major overhaul.
Its decision-making has been refined and optimized, allowing it to react more naturally, make better strategic choices, and behave much more like a real human opponent. Battles are now more dynamic, challenging, and enjoyable than ever before.
⚒️ Quality of Life
Spartan Mine workers now automatically begin gathering resources immediately after a mine is constructed, removing unnecessary micromanagement.
🛠️ Bug Fixes
This update also fixes several important issues reported by the community:
Fixed a major crash that could occur when building large numbers of walls, overlapping walls, or constructing buildings on top of walls.
Fixed an issue that could cause the AI to stop functioning entirely, preventing it from performing any further actions.
Fixed a bug where walls could sometimes become stuck in an infinite repair state.
Fixed an issue where workers ordered to build walls would occasionally stop before finishing construction, requiring manual intervention.
Fixed a UI bug that could cause campaign dialogue windows to overlap with other interface elements in certain situations.
More Updates Coming!
The monthly content rotation will continue to bring new civilizations, fresh multiplayer maps, and ongoing gameplay improvements.
I'm constantly working to make Ancient Wars: Sparta HD Free to Play bigger, better, and more enjoyable with every update.

A new Content Rotation and Update 0.86 are now available for Ancient Wars: Sparta HD Free to Play!
Content Rotation
This rotation introduces a brand-new playable faction and fresh battlefields:
The Spartans are now available as a playable faction.
3 new maps have been added to the current map rotation.
Lead Sparta into battle and experience new strategic challenges!
Update 0.86
New Features & Improvements
AI can now move units onto walls, making sieges far more dynamic and enjoyable.
Improved the AI's wall construction behavior.
Added new Editor parameters to define custom cost coefficients for walls, towers, and heroes, giving map creators greater freedom when designing custom scenarios.
Removed the increasing horse cost scaling that depended on the total number of horses in a match.
Removed the maximum horse limit per match.
Added shortcuts for creating wall entrances in the Editor.
Bug Fixes
Fixed a desynchronization issue that could occur after recruiting a hero who had previously died after leveling up.
Fixed a bug where heroes could sometimes cost less than intended when recruited after dying.
Fixed a bug that displayed an incorrect number of units produced in the statistics screen.
Fixed a visual glitch where destroyed towers could display a unit selection circle.
Fixed a bug that caused hero names to appear twice in the Main Building description.
Fixed a UI bug that could cause windows to overlap Taunt messages in certain situations.

Fixed an issue that prevented the Egyptian faction from building a goldmine on one of the map's gold mines.
Fixed an issue where allied AI players could sometimes fail to spawn near each other when the "Allies Spawn Each Other" option was enabled.
Multiplayer
Fixed a desync that could occur when constructing overlapping walls.

Ancient Wars: Sparta HD Free-to-Play – Update 0.82 is now live!
As always, I’ve been reading the community’s feedback — what you ask for, I add.
This new update brings a lot of fresh content and gameplay improvements:
⚔️ New playable faction: the Persians are now available to lead into battle.
🗺️ New 4-player map: Salamis, designed for strategic clashes and large-scale land and naval battles.
⚙️ New match customization options:
You can now adjust a gold collection multiplier, allowing you to control the pace of the game and tailor it to your preferred playstyle.
A new option has been added for team games, allowing allies to spawn in nearby starting positions. This system also works for community-created maps, giving map creators more control and freedom when designing specific scenarios.
🏹 New hunting system: you can now hunt animals to gather food and expand your economic options during the match.
🏰 Major AI improvement(AI Walls): the AI can now build walls and station troops on them (currently on towers only, with full wall deployment coming soon).
Get ready to experience epic sieges like never before in an RTS.

Fixed a bug in Tutorial Mission 1 where the farm construction could remain unfinished.
Added a reminder in Tutorial Mission 1 instructing players to click the objectives button to prevent progression issues.
Added missing tutorial objective translations in the following languages: French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, and Russian.

Version 0.60B brings important improvements, balance tweaks, and fixes to enhance your battlefield experience based on communit feedback.
🛠️ Patch Notes:
Added improved AI for the Persian civilization, making battles more challenging and dynamic.
Added a match settings save system — your preferences will now be retained when loading saved games.
Fixed a bug where gold mines would run out of gold even when “infinite gold mines” was enabled.
Fixed an issue where Persian slaves had no selection sounds.
Balanced heroes’ shield projectile block percentage for fairer combat.
Fixed several multiplayer desync issues that could occur when placing many gates on walls during a match.
