Steam Next Fest Participation
Hello, everyone!
In our previous announcement, we shared that Staffer Retro will launch on July 23. Time has flown by, and the day when we can finally share the story we've been creating with all of you is now just around the corner.
Over the past months, our team has continued development while taking on new challenges and meeting new people through our crowdfunding campaigns in Korea and Japan, our participation in BitSummit and PlayX4, and the launch of Nintendo Switch package pre-orders. Most importantly, we've been encouraged every step of the way by the support and enthusiasm shown by our fans.
With launch day approaching, Steam Next Fest will be the last major online event where players can experience Staffer Retro before release.
To give as many people as possible a chance to discover the game, we have decided to participate in Steam Next Fest.
Event Schedule
Steam Next Fest will take place during the following period:
Start: June 16, 2026, 02:00 AM KST (GMT+9) / June 15, 2026, 10:00 AM PDT
End: June 23, 2026, 02:00 AM KST (GMT+9) / June 22, 2026, 02:00 AM PDT
Duration: 7 days (approximately 1 week)
Act 2 Demo Update
To celebrate our participation in Steam Next Fest, we will be releasing Act 2 (Episode 2) as a limited-time update to the demo version.
Until now, the demo has only included Act 1 (Episode 1). During Steam Next Fest, players will be able to experience Act 2 free of charge.
Act 2 will only be available during the Steam Next Fest period. Once the event ends, access to Act 2 will be removed regardless of future demo updates, and it will not become playable again until the game's full release.
This version of Act 2 will also include voice acting. If you've been eager to see what happens next or want a deeper look into the world of Staffer Retro, we hope you'll take this opportunity to play it!

The Act 2 update will go live simultaneously with the start of Steam Next Fest.

Demo Update Notes
Fixed an issue where text was missing from notification UI elements in certain languages.
Corrected various typos and localization errors.
Added Act 2, available exclusively during Steam Next Fest.
Improved several awkward scenes and made minor gameplay control adjustments.
Enhanced the visual quality of images, including background artwork.
Fixed a variety of bugs reported by players.
Creator Support Program
During Steam Next Fest, we will be supporting content creation related to Staffer Retro by streamers, video creators, reviewers, and other content creators.

Your planned upload or streaming date
A brief introduction about yourself
Links to your content channels (YouTube, Twitch, Tiktok, Facebook etc.)
Participants will receive access to promotional assets such as screenshots, logos, trailers, and other materials that may be used for thumbnails and video content creation.
In addition, we will personally select a number of creators who make a significant contribution to promoting the game and provide various rewards, including free merchandise and Steam keys for Staffer Retro at launch. (Even if you are not in Korea!)

Starting June 15 (KST), throughout the Next Fest period, we will begin releasing voice preview videos featuring members of the game's Japanese voice cast.
Characters from episodes that have not yet been revealed will also make their first appearance, so stay tuned and see if you can guess who will be joining the story next.
Crowdfunding Campaigns Surpass $85,000 USD
Our crowdfunding campaigns in Korea and Japan have now surpassed $85,000 USD in total funding, with support from more than 1,500 backers across both countries.
We are incredibly grateful for the enthusiasm and encouragement we have received from fans throughout the campaign.
Your support helps us continue improving Staffer Retro and deliver the best possible experience when the game launches on July 23.
