5 New Gadgets

Mortar - Launch a bouncing mortar bomb that explodes when it expires.

We hope you’re thirsty for another game update, Punchies! Rumble Club 1.3 has just gone live with a new way to play - a new game mode, a new map, and a whole new jumping mechanic.
New Mode - Juiced Up
In this variant to Punch Royale, crates and defeated players drop Juice Boxes which increase your punch power and punch resistance. Collect Juice Boxes for more power, or pick up a gadget to counter a more powerful enemy. In addition to Juice Boxes, punchies can now also jump in Juiced Up! Use a new button to leap into the air to clear obstacles, avoid punches, or save yourself from falling into the goop.
New Map - Finish Line
A new map has entered the rotation as well, a sports arena called Finish Line. This one is in preparation for the first annual Punchie Games coming later this summer, stay tuned for more on that event!
Bug fixes

Lots of improvements to connectivity.
Fixed a bug where initial one-time spawned gadgets would not fall into the goop with their tiles.
Walk the Planks and Old Punchie Town now properly support spawns in 10v10

The time has come, Punchies of the Realm! Season 2 of Rumble Club is now live, and you can jump in with our new game mod and fantasy themed map, gadgets, and cosmetics now.
We shared initial details on what’s new here earlier in the month, but read on for every new detail, plus patch notes in v1.2.

New Season 2 Content
Space gadgets from the Launch season have been swapped out with five new tools:

Sword and Board - Tap to swing your sword knocking enemies up and then backwards, applying strikes! Hold down to block attacks.
Crossbow - Fire a plunger from this crossbow for a single shot, or Charge up to fire a spread shot of 5 plungers!
Faerie Wings - Fly through the air and sprinkle Faerie Dust before you come down with a crash, knocking enemies away and applying strikes. Pick up Faerie Dust to get a speed boost!
Horsie - Ride into battle with your lance on the Horsie. Hit enemies with the end of your lance to apply 3 strikes!
Ogre King - Go Ham with the Ogre King. Smash your opponents with a big ground slam in a long, narrow cone, sending them flying and applying up to 3 strikes!
By popular demand, Tournaments have been added to Rumble Club!

Play in rotating Tournaments this season, earn big rewards for your wins, and make progress on the seasonal Tournament Track.
Tournaments can have a variety of themes, game modes, maps, and round counts.
Placing well in Tournaments gives you rewards, including progress on the Tournament Track
Complete the Track this season to unlock the Jester Hat and to get Frosty, the Baby Dragon!
Introducing Rumble Run - Play multiple game mode rounds in a row, gain points for your placement, and win!

Qualifying Rounds - Play multiple rounds of different game modes, earn points based on your placement at the end of the match. The lowest cumulative scores get cut between rounds.
Final Round - Once the final round has been reached, it’s a winner-take-all scenario. Win the last match, and you win the whole Rumble Run!
New Player Rewards:

Get rewards, including cosmetics, for playing for your first seven days! Existing players, don’t worry, you’ll get to collect these rewards too.
New maps! We are introducing 5 new maps, all of which support all 6 game modes.

Punchington Castle
Desserted Island
Old Punchie Town
Dungeon Depths
Walk the Planks
All of these maps are available in private lobbies. Punchington Castle is a full size map which also appears in public matches. The other four maps are smaller maps which appear in our new tournament system.
Patch Notes
Balance:

Updated throwable balls to throw a bit less downward causing them to not bounce so high into the air on a throw. Hopefully this makes using these items a bit more reliable.
Slightly increased the size and power of the basic rolling hamster ball knockback. In particular we hope this helps with Gadget Game stall out when players have the Hamster Ball.
Decreased Turn speed with deployed umbrella by 10% to make pinning someone with it a bit more difficult.
Now that we can tune the magnet post throw cooldown time we are adjusting it to find the best balance for this gadget. We have Increased the post throw cooldown on magnet by 10%.
The balance of punching a knocked out enemy vs picking up and throwing is constantly on a knife's edge. This is an area that we are constantly working on so expect changes here to be small so we can dial in this behavior. Right now it feels like the value of throwing has fewer intended situations than we hoped so we are increasing the remaining knockout time on throws by 0.05 seconds to try and increase the value of picking up and throwing.
To give the Magic Donut some love we have increased the # of strikes it applies from 1 to 2. Go get your sweet tooth on.
Bug fixes:

Fixed a tile that didn’t drop on Spaced Out by preventing players from standing on the edge of it.
Fixed Trophy Track and Crown Track progress bars disappearing when maxed out.
You may have noticed some stray 1-strike crates filled with mysterious goodies accidentally scattered on some of our maps. They have been removed…for now.

New Features

Earn Crown Fragments in team game modes. Get 20 Fragments to get a Crown!
Check the new Game Modes daily to get extra Rumble Pass progress.
New Map

Rumble Athletic Club - Try out this new gym themed map that supports Punch Royale.
Balance

After throwing an object players can no longer immediately activate the magnet to juggle players.
Punch Tank acceleration increased by 35%.
Exploding cannonballs now weigh 40% less so players can punch them at each other.
Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug with UFO eliminations not counting. To compensate for this bug we are reducing the total number of UFO eliminations required by the season quest from 25 down to 10. Happy tractor beaming.
Fixed a bug with tile drop speed on some game modes where tiles were only taking 5 seconds to drop instead of the intended 8 seconds.
Fixed various crash bugs.

We’ll save the full patch notes for then, of course, but here’s a sneak peak at some of what you can expect in our second season of content:

New way to play: Rumble Run, a grand prix style multi-round mode where only one Punchie can be crowned champion.
New map: Punchington Castle will support Punch Royale, Goop Cube, King of the Hill, Crab Crush, and more game modes.
Five new seasonal gadgets: Check out the Horsie, Sword and Board, Plunger Crossbow, Fairy Wings, and the Ogre King.
Tons of fantasy cosmetics: Kings, Queens, Dragons, oh my!
OTK creator cosmetics: Custom cosmetics of some of your favorite creators!
Changes to Rumble Pass: Gadget cards are moving from the Premium Track to the Free Track, and more cosmetics are coming to the Premium Track.
We also want to give a HUGE thank you to the Rumble Club community - over 1 million players have jumped into the game across mobile and PC so far and we couldn’t be more grateful, truly! We hope you’re all looking forward to Season 2 on June 24th!

Introducing Gadget Game
In Rumble Club’s newest game mode, you’ve always got a Gadget at your disposal. Secure an elimination with a Gadget to automatically upgrade to another Gadget. Get 10 eliminations and win!
Play Gadget Game in the Points Mode playlist, and look for Gadget Game Only to show up as an event!

Here’s everything else new in Rumble Club v1.1:

See your Quest progress on the Elimination and Match Complete screen without having to go all the way out to the main menu
If you play in a Private Match with 16 total people, you’ll get Quest Progress
See a bug or something fishy in a match? Go to the replay and Report it to the Development team for investigation!
Sunset Shallows map now supports Deathmatch
Increased the speed that you can tap through Battle Pass rewards
Balance

Flower Pots can be thrown further and apply a strike when they explode
TNT now applies 2 strikes when it explodes
Ice Cubes from Ice Machine Gadgets last half as long to prevent clusters of ice cubes from piling up and creating a big mess in the area.
Added some more holes and danger to King of the Tilt to create more exciting fights in some areas where there was not enough danger.
Improved Item spawners on Punchie Plaza 2v2 and 4v4 to make the matches more interesting.
Increased the movement speed but decreased the maneuverability of the starting and respawn balloon item.
Updated the charge time for the Punch Tank. Instead of 0.75 to get to a 1 strike shot it now only takes 0.5 seconds to get to the first charge level. The second charge level is unchanged at 1.5 total seconds.
Bug Fixes

Fixed an exploit that allowed players to drop a stunned player they are carrying
Fixed numerous instances where Punchies could balance on rooftops
Fixed more instances of mismatched end-game placements
Other performance and loading improvements
Idle Anvil
The punchie overseers are watching you. If they catch you idling in a bad place on the map they will drop an anvil on your head. You have been warned.

We’ve heard your feedback that more of you would love to just play Punch Royale, so we’ve shifted the Game Modes to the following:
FEATURED: Punch Royale, FFA. Eligible for Crowns
FEATURED: Points Modes, FFA. Includes Sugar Rush, Crab Crush, King of the Hill, and Deathmatch. Eligible for Crowns.
EVENT: Goop Cube Teams Rotation. Rotates between Duos, Trios, and Squads

Our goal is to allow people to play lots of different types of game modes while maintaining high-quality matches and short matchmaking times. We’re open to continuing to change this format, so please leave feedback in Discord on what you’d like to see!
Stream Queue fixes
If you receive a Stream Queue invite while on the Match Complete screen, it gives you the chance to join
When a Stream Queue Party fills up, the dialog auto-closes.
If your Party gets more than 20 players in it, we ask if you want to create a Stream Queue instead
Stream Queues can be opened directly from the “Party” button if Streamer Mode is enabled.
New Stuff
NEW SHOP SECTION: Outfit Shop! There’s specific cosmetics available to purchase directly for Gems, updated daily.
Random Cosmetic Boxes: Buy x5 to get a guaranteed Epic. Buy x10 to get a guaranteed legendary
Added Punching Ring to the 1v1 and 2v2 Private Match pool for private matches.
Added the Creator Code entry into the Shop
Mobile players can be Founders too! Founder’s Packs are available in the in-game Shop
If you already have the Super or Super+ Rumble Pass and you purchase a Founder’s Pack you’ll receive the following Gems instead:
Super: 180 Gems
Super+: 300 Gems
To reduce confusion, Punchies previewed in Bundles will just be Blue Punchies wearing whatever cosmetics are sold in the Bundle. They won’t preview your cosmetics anymore.
Balance
Deathmatch timeout duration increased by 60 seconds.
Deathmatch Duos score to win changed from 30->25.
Deathmatch Trios score to win changed from 45->35.
Deathmatch Squads score to win changed from 60->45.
Added 10 additional dropping tiles to Beach Ballin’ Deathmatch.
Added 9 additional dropping tiles to Under Construction Deathmatch.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an exploit where players could defy gravity forever on Spaced Out.
Fixed the controller scroll speed on Crown Road.
Fixed the Team numbers to be consistent between the Lobby and in-match in Private Matches.
Fixed a bug in Crab Crush where the timer didn’t reset when everyone fell below the points threshold
Fixed a bug in Crab Crush where the timer didn’t reset when someone else takes the lead

Patch Notes:
Trophy Road and Crown Road
Get rewards for earning Trophies and Crowns, including exclusive Accessories!
Event Rotation
We’ve added a permanent Goop Cube Event to the Game Mode Selector! Rotating between Duos, Trios, and Squads, you’ll always be able to play Goop Cube with a friend.
New Game Modes
We’ve added new game modes to Rumble Club that are found in Events, Private Matches, and even the Random - Free For All bucket. Check out what’s new below!
Crab Crush

Eliminate Punchies to spawn crabs. Punch Crabs to collect them. Hold 15 crabs to win!
Crab Crush comes in Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads variants
Crab Crush will appear in the Random - Free for All Playlist and in Private Matches
Deathmatch

Deathmatch has been promoted from an Event mode to a Core mode!

Map Picker Update
The Private Match map picker has been updated to be a lot easier to navigate. You can now select party size, then game mode and then map. 2v2, 10v10, 4v4, Deathmatch, and Crab Crush are now available in Private Matches

Watch your favorite Rumble Club streams and earn rewards, including an exclusive 3D Glasses cosmetic
Connect with Twitch to show your Twitch Name in Private Lobbies
Balance
Goop Cube

The goal is to make Goop Cube matches be a bit less chaotic at the end. Matches frequently ended with 10+ players all alive on a single tile, which was a little too much chaos.
Increased Goop Cube duration from 14s->20s
Increased Goop Cube Throw distance by 30%
Increased the time it takes for Goop Cube maps to get down to a single tile.
Sugar Rush

Decreased single cupcake pickup time from 0.75s to 0.4s
Decreased the number of cupcakes that randomly spawn from 18->14.
Increased the number of cupcakes that spawn from an elimination from 1 to 2
Combat

Increased the knockout time after being thrown from 0.7 to 0.8 seconds.
Gadgets

Mailbox knockback distance increased by 20%.
Mailbox knockback height decreased by 50%.
Balloon Launcher now applies one strike on indirect hits and 2 strikes on direct hits.
Umbrella knockback distance increased by 30%.
Umbrella block reliability increased by making the block area a bit thicker.
Drone now applies a strike on indirect hits.
Hamster Ball now applies a strike when it lands.
Magic Donut knockback distance increased by 20%.
Magic Donut knockback height decreased by 20%.
Magic Donut can no longer turn to aim while slamming.
Punch Tank charge levels now apply 0/1/2 strikes.
Anti-Grav Tool knockback distance increased by 50%.
Anti-Grav Tool knockback height decreased by 60%.
Anti-Grav Tool float power decreased to help prevent flying on low gravity maps.
UFO pull power increased by 30%.
Ice Machine projectile knockback reduced from 40/80/100 to 25/50/65.
Bug Fixes

Fixed a floating spawner in SE corner of Wreckt 1v1
Fixed a bug where the smallest asteroids would explode if you touched them even if they weren’t moving after someone else had thrown them.
Fixed a bug where the lava rocks would explode if you touched them even if they weren’t moving after someone else had thrown them.
Fixed “New Zones Available!” bug on Factory and Jewel of Denial in Sugar Rush
Fixed two trees in Jewel of Denial that get cupcakes stuck on top of them when you punch them.
Fixed a bug where Lava Rocks in eruption and Crazy Caldera were not applying strikes.
Controller Support in menus
You can now use your controller to navigate throughout all menus in the game. Lean back!

Playtest extended! Rumble all weekend!
This PvP party isn’t stopping, we’re going all weekend! It seems like you’re having a blast punching your friends in our open playtest. So we’re extending it - you can keep on rumbling through the weekend. The playtest will officially end in the early morning of Monday April 1st.
