The claws are almost ready, Survivors.
We’ve already shown you a more expressive Therizinosaurus in the wild, and how tamed Therizinos will begin to reflect the harvesting roles they play within your tribe.
But we haven’t talked about how those changes will feel once you’re in the saddle.
Getting around the ARKs will feel a little smoother, with improved movement and a new bounding hop that helps it tackle tougher terrain.
And, naturally, those infamous claws have a few new tricks. Alongside smoother harvesting, Therizinosaurus now has a powerful new claw swipe for when nearby creatures need a sharp reminder about personal space.
And you won’t have much longer to wait. On September 30, the Therizinosaurus TLC arrives alongside the Unreal Engine 5.8 upgrade, Gargantar, and Cerberax, bringing plenty to discover across the ARKs.

Expire servers are temporary servers across the network that will eventually be removed, and you can find them by searching for "Expire" in the session filter.
These servers will be online until 10 am PST / 1 pm EST on September 18th. We're preemptively using our allocation for future maps to host some additional sessions that players can travel onto to farm, tame, and experience the newest content Gameplay. The same transfer restrictions apply in that you are only able to download your character, but you can freely take anything off. This is to help reduce load off some of the other servers, or provide players an option for those who just want to jump onto a new map temporarily.
Please note that these servers will no longer exist after 10 am PST / 1 pm EST on September 18th, so if you intend to use them, remember to transfer your items/creatures/characters off before that date, as nothing will be saved beyond that time period.

This week, we're taking a closer look at the Cerberax, and its dossier reveals there's considerably more to taming this mythological monster than simply surviving the encounter. Each head will need to be dealt with on its own terms, and convincing all three that you're worth following might prove just as dangerous as fighting the beast itself.
Pull it off, though, and Cerberax becomes one hell of an ally, bringing fire, venom, and three heads that are dangerous alone and downright vicious in sync.
And Cerberax won't be arriving alone. September 30 is shaping up to be a packed day on the ARKs, bringing the Unreal Engine 5.8 upgrade, the Therizinosaurus TLC, and ARK: Dragontopia’s Gargantar alongside it.
So while you start deciding which two tribemates you trust with the other heads, keep an eye on the calendar. There's plenty more headed your way on September 30!
Something affecting evolution on the ARKs seems to have a knack for mythology! Cerberax tricipitis is a huge three-headed canid, capable of taking on even a Rex or Ossidon in a fair fight. Anything short of a Giga or Carcha is going to have a tough time fighting Cerberax. Its sheer size allows it to take a beating, so be sure to make it bleed if you plan to fight one.
The three heads of Cerberax all use separate tactics, but their real strength is working together. The right head applies fire to subdue its prey, while consuming venom to cripple it. The left head applies venom to weaken its prey, while consuming fire to heal its body. The central head coordinates the other two, resulting in more damage from the side heads, and causing their venom and their flames to spread to nearby targets.
Taming Cerberax involves winning over not one, but three animals. When subdued by narcotics, all its adrenaline surges to a single head. By quickly mounting that head and placating its anger, you can wear down its reserves of energy. Another head will wake, so repeat until all three collapse and you can feed it into submission.
Once finally tamed, Cerberax is best ridden by a team of three Survivors. One Survivor controls the body and main head, while the other Survivors control the left and right heads to maximize combat efficiency. Working as a team, the three heads bolster each other's abilities to their maximum potential!

This absolute behemoth offers Survivors a massive new canvas for fortress-style base building on the open water, backed by a formidable battery of cannons ready to turn a passing disagreement into a full broadside.
And the timing couldn't be better. With new water physics bringing rolling waves and shifting seas, and Astraeos now reaching its completed form, there are more reasons than ever to leave the shoreline behind and see where the tides take you.
Whether you're charting a course across Astraeos or braving the waters of Genesis, the Galleon is ready to carry your adventures onto the open seas.
So gather your crew, load the cannons, and set sail. There's a whole lot more waiting beyond the horizon.
Structure decay is temporarily disabled while we finish resolving a small number of lingering tribe issues related to last week’s OC server outage. We plan to re-enable it next Friday, September 4, alongside the opening of transfers on Genesis Part 1.
Transfers on Genesis Ascended Part 1 Official servers will open on September 4th, allowing players to move items, creatures, and characters onto the map without restriction! We've also aligned the timing with the Genesis Part 1 Expires servers, giving players a couple of weeks to move everything over before those servers close on September 18th.
And as always, don't forget to pack your Dodos in bubble wrap, Survivors!

For years, Dododex has been one of those trusty companions Survivors keep close at hand, helping with everything from taming and breeding to figuring out just how many narcotics you'll need before committing to that ambitious tame.
Built by Dan and shaped with input from the ARK community, Dododex has continued to grow alongside ARK, adding new tools and features to make life on the ARKs just a little easier.
And there's another handy addition on the way!
Here’s a sneak peek at Dododex’s upcoming improved stat calculator, which will finally support tamed and bred creatures! The new calculator will also feature customizable stat grading and name suggestions from the Dododex community.
It’ll be coming first to the web version of Dododex, with a launch date to be announced soon!

Embark on an epic ARK odyssey with Astraeos! Explore this vast, breathtaking world, steeped in Greek mythology, where majestic mountain ridges and marble cliffs meet pristine white sand beaches and a paradise of cherry blossoms. Spanning over 264 square kilometers, Astraeos is brimming with stunning scenery, ancient ruins, and sacred temples.
That odyssey now reaches its final chapter with Astraeos 1.0 and its most ambitious expansion yet: Heaven and the Abyss. A realm of divine trials fit for the pantheon, from floating island peaks to dark abyssal trenches, command ancient warships across violent seas and prove your worth against the legendary horrors of myth.
Helianthos: A bright, lush island of towering mountain ridges, open flower-filled plains, peaceful creatures, and flying islands suspended high above the landscape.
Abyssanthos: A fog-shrouded deep-sea expanse with enormous underwater air bubbles supporting a mythical underwater city, providing space for base-building far beneath the surface.
The Trireme: The ocean is no longer a passive boundary. Dynamic, rolling wave mechanics and new weather events transform the seas into a restless, shifting frontier, giving the new ancient Trireme warship the perfect arena for rough-water navigation.
The Boaratos: A massive, fiercely aggressive, and scorching new boar found exclusively on Astraeos.
Two Kraken Ascension Boss Fights: Confront the merciless leviathan in two distinct encounters, one underwater and another at the surface.
New Minibosses: Face the immense Colossus and the ferocious Kroaratos.
New Apex Rewards and Cosmetics: Claim Astral Souls as a powerful new Apex drop alongside the Agamemnon Helmet, Trireme Chair, Boaratos Spartan Saddle, Divine Sword, Divine Spear, and Divine Shield.
The horizons of ARK: Survival Ascended continue to expand with brand-new creatures, naval warfare, and coastal raids!
Available now on ARK: Survival Ascended:
Concavenator: This ruthless pack hunter turns the desert into a lethal playground as they swim beneath the dunes ambushing prey with aerial attacks and blinding sand clouds!
Available now with ARK: Tides of Fortune
The Galleon: Take the helm of the majestic Galleon, the ultimate naval titan designed for extensive fortress-style base building and a devastating battery of cannons built for catastrophic broadside barrages!
Land Outposts: Scour coastal shores for land-based pirate camps across Genesis 1's oceanic islands, eliminate the defending rogues, and plunder their buried treasure!
Beyond latest Heaven & Abyss additions, the world of Astraeos opens wide with these original features:
The Maeguana: blending agility and a robust, reptilian appearance, its nurturing instincts aid in raising baby creatures, while its skin membrane allows for graceful gliding and safe passage.
The Grand Tortugar: a mobile stronghold built for endurance. Beneath its massive armored shell lies something more than protection. Open its carapace and it becomes a living command post, allowing multiple riders to shelter within while defending from behind natural plating. Close it, and the Tortugar transforms into a near-impenetrable bastion with your crew breathing freely inside.
Conquer Pyranthos: a brutal desert where shifting dunes conceal forgotten temples and buried pathways. Deathworms tunnel beneath the sands, while the Scorpion King and Queen prowl alongside Skeleton warriors stalking the wastes. Deep underground, five perilous Artifact Caves await, including the twisting Minotaur Labyrinth, and buried in the ruins of Pyranthos, Hydraskos the Unbroken awaits. Defeating all five hungry heads will demand teamwork, timing, and a whole lot of firepower.
Uncover Lemnokis Island: Explore a massive landmass of contrasting climates, from snowbound and sun-warmed redwoods to sprawling valleys, dense forests, and an extensive network of buildable caves, including one carved deep within a glacier. Venture offshore into resource-rich deep-sea regions and brave the Maelstrom, a mysterious new location far out in the ocean. Lemnokis is also home to Astraeos’ first duo-miniboss encounter: Kalydonios and Erymanthian, two colossal boars wielding fire and poisonous gas.
Dynamic weather systems and overhauled lighting reshape the world minute by minute – shifting seamlessly from blinding glare and brilliant sunlight to eerie twilight and suffocating fog.
Journey across diverse, breathtaking landscapes inspired by the Mediterranean coast, serene cherry blossom groves, and the rugged terrain of Appalachia. Uncover the deep mysteries hidden within an expansive ocean ecosystem, brave the fiery hazards of Volcano Island, and lay claim to sacred temples and ancient ruins steeped in myth.
Explore challenging, loot-filled labyrinths at your own risk, and test your skills against formidable mythological foes and powerful new bosses. Hunt unique enhanced Alpha Creature variants for valuable loot, and conquer OSDs, Element Veins, and special Supply Drops blessed by Zeus himself!

Survivors, mark your calendars because September 30 is shaping up to be a big day on the ARKs!
The Unreal Engine 5.8 upgrade, Therizinosaurus TLC, Cerberax, and Gargantar are all set to arrive together in one packed release.
The move to Unreal Engine 5.8 represents one of the biggest technical milestones yet for ASA. Our engine team has been hard at work on the upgrade, focusing on tangible performance improvements, platform-specific fixes, and stronger technical foundations for everything still ahead.
And the technology isn't the only thing getting an upgrade. Thanks to your Extra Life vote, the Therizinosaurus TLC will sharpen up one of ARK's most iconic creatures, bringing new life and personality to the beloved Tickle Chicken while staying true to the harvesting powerhouse Survivors know and love.
It won't be arriving alone.
The skies will welcome Gargantar, the latest mighty dragon from ARK Dragontopia, with Expansion Pass owners getting early access to this hungry behemoth, who views the ARKs as one enormous all-you-can-eat buffet.
Meanwhile, ARK Fantastic Tames Season 1 continues with the arrival of its second creature, Cerberax, following in the bouncy footsteps of the Burrowbuck earlier this year.
This imposing beast is more than capable of carrying a lone Survivor into battle, though those traveling with a few trusted tribemates may discover where its true strength lies. Each head seems to have a temperament of its own, with a peculiar way of playing off the others. Survivors who learn to work with them in tandem may find that what one head starts, another can finish with devastating results.
Whether you ride alone or bring your tribe along, there's clearly more than one way to unleash this three-headed terror.
The Cerberax is coming as part of ARK Fantastic Tames Season 1 on September 30.
Before we get there… Astraeos' final update arrives August 26!
Charging into the update is the Boaratos, the hot-headed hog we introduced last week, ready to bring some serious heat to your battles, your harvests, and perhaps even your breakfast table.
So while you're marking September 30 on your calendars, don't forget to make a little room for August 26. The Boaratos is almost here, and it's bringing the heat!

Things are about to get a little crispy on Astraeos. On August 26, the final update to Astraeos arrives, and charging headfirst into the fray is the Boaratos, a fiery new bruiser that's happiest when things get up close, and preferably a little singed.
Built to stand tusk-to-toe with some of the toughest creatures on the ARKs, this hot-headed hog combines raw physical strength with fiery attacks and a knack for leaving its enemies bleeding, making it a must-have companion when facing particularly formidable opponents.
But when there's no battle to be fought, those smoldering talents can still earn their keep around your tribe. Trees have a curious tendency to end up a little more... charred before the Boaratos brings them crashing down.
And should you ever find yourself on the winning side of a fight with a Boaratos, let's just say the spoils might be best enjoyed around the breakfast table with a side of eggs.
No matter what, Astraeos is going whole hog for its final update!

The ground is beginning to shake again.
Once upon a time, the Giganotosaurus was the undisputed king of the ARKs. Few creatures could stand against it, and hearing its roar in the distance was enough to send even seasoned Survivors scrambling for safety, and taming one was a milestone few ever forgot.
As the years went by and new apex predators emerged, the Giga gradually found itself sharing the spotlight. With this TLC, our goal is to restore the presence, power, and identity that made it the terror of the wilderness in the first place.
We're excited to share an early look at that journey with the first concept art for the Giganotosaurus TLC. Our focus is on restoring the Giga's commanding presence and ensuring it once again stands shoulder to shoulder with the mightiest predators roaming the ARKs.
As part of that journey, we’re exploring new ways to remind Survivors why a wounded Giganotosaurus has always been one of the most terrifying sights on the ARKs. The closer it is pushed to the brink, the more dangerous it becomes... and that kind of fury can be contagious. Creatures brave enough to crowd around its feet may soon discover it has a crushing answer of its own, but when its temper finally boils over, friend and foe alike would be wise to give it room.
The king of the food chain is preparing for its return.

The Tickle Chicken is sharpening its claws.
Thanks to your Extra Life vote, one of ARK's most iconic creatures is getting a fresh coat of feathers, all while staying true to the role Survivors have relied on for years. Rather than redefining the creature, this TLC focuses on improving combat responsiveness, controls, traversal, visual progression and expanding the creature’s personality.
The Therizino has always had a reputation for turning an innocent stroll through the woods into a frantic sprint for your life, and that isn't changing anytime soon. Survivors will find that wild ones are a little more patient than they used to be. They now make their intentions crystal clear, fixing you with an unblinking stare, spreading those infamous claws, and giving you one last chance to reconsider your life choices. Whether you heed that warning is entirely up to you.
Survivors will also notice that no two hardworking Therizinos look quite the same. A seasoned harvester proudly wears the marks of its trade, with claws and posture reflecting the work it does best, making every faithful companion more unique.
We're also excited to reveal the brand-new Therizinosaurus dossier, offering a fresh look at this legendary creature and its place on the ARKs.
Species:Therizinosaurus multiensis Time: Late Cretaceous Diet: Herbivore Temperament: Territorial
Like several other creatures on the ARKs, Therizinosaurus multiensis seems to be adjusting to our presence. It will even give interlopers a courtesy warning before attacking. The beast’s newfound tolerance works both ways, as tribes no longer see its encroaching populations as an existential threat. That said, a provoked Therizino is more dangerous than ever.
From a safe distance you'll notice a Therizino adapted to delicate foraging will flash longer, sharper claws, while the rippers of a power-harvester get worn and chipped. Get too close, and whichever style of claws it has will tear into you with the same vicious double-swipe attack.
We're lucky that it's still easy to tame a Therizino. Sedate one into submission and feed it enough, and it'll eventually fall into line. A mounted Therizino turns out to be more clever and agile than you'd expect, for such a big creature. It can turn on a dime, and hop onto or over obstacles that'd stop an Allo or Rex in their tracks.
You'd be wise to enlist a Therzino's help in your tribe's fight for survival. It's a reliable and tireless harvester and those same reaping blades are formidable weapons. Saddle one up for the fierce protection it gives a rider from attackers and would-be predators.
It is with wistful hearts that today we are announcing the Official Servers for 'ARK: Survival Evolved and ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition' on Nintendo Switch will sunset on August 31st, 2026. Over a million players have explored these servers since the original ARK Switch release in 2018 and the launch of Grove Street Games' rebuilt Switch remaster in 2022. We want to thank everyone who has been a part of this journey.
Please note that Unofficial Servers and Single Player modes will continue to remain fully playable after this date.

We’re excited to welcome another fan-favorite creature from Garuga123’s ARK: Additions into the official world of ARK: Survival Ascended. Each new arrival brings its own unique twist to survival, and the Concavenator is no exception. Fast, agile, and always ready to steal the spotlight, this desert specialist is unlike anything else roaming the ARK.
Beneath the sands, the Concavenator turns the desert into its playground. It swims across the dunes with astonishing speed, launching itself skyward in spectacular aerial tricks to gain an advantage on its prey. Alone, it is an elusive nuisance, but in a coordinated pack, it can quickly turn into a nightmare, circling prey, kicking up choking clouds of sand, and striking from unexpected angles.
Whether you are gliding through the shifting sands or commanding a pack of high-flyers, this creature demonstrates that finesse and coordination are just as lethal as raw strength.
The Concavenator joins ARK: Survival Ascended on August 26th.
Keep up with the development of ARK: Additions in Garuga's Discord!

Since Genesis Part 1 launched, we’ve continued monitoring activity and capacity across the Official Network to identify where additional support would be most useful. Today, we brought another small batch of Official Genesis Part 1 servers online, including a mix of EU and NA servers, along with a few Oceanic Small Tribes servers.
These additions give players more opportunities to jump in and find a place to play as activity settles across the initial rollout. We’ll continue monitoring server populations and capacity to determine whether additional servers are needed.
Please note that some of these new servers are Expire servers.
Expire servers are temporary Official servers that can be found by searching for "Expire" in the session filter. These servers will remain online until 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET on September 19, 2026.
We're temporarily using server capacity allocated for future maps to provide additional Genesis Part 1 sessions where players can tame creatures, gather resources, and experience the newest content. The same transfer restrictions apply: you may download your character onto these servers, and you are free to transfer items, creatures, and characters off them at any time. These servers are intended to help ease population pressure on the primary network while giving players another option to enjoy the new content.
Please remember that these servers will be permanently removed at 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET on September 19, 2026. If you choose to play on an Expire server, make sure you transfer your characters, creatures, and items off before that time, as any remaining data will be permanently lost.

Suit up for some fun in the sun with a fresh wave of summer cosmetics. Dive into the deep end, slip into something shark-shaped, add a touch of jelly to your beach-day look, and keep an eye out for returning favorites from summers past!
Back at base, things are looking a lot bouncier. We're dropping inflatable furnishings, dino balloons, and a bunch of new structure skins to turn any settlement into a proper summer paradise. Even your arsenal is getting a makeover, giving some of ARK's heaviest firepower a wonderfully ridiculous new look.
It's bright, it's chaotic, and it's going to leave you wondering whether that Tek Rifle is actually combat-ready or just one loud noise away from ruining a tribemate's birthday beach party.

ARK Tides of Fortune's Galleon will release with the final Astraeos update.
This massive superfortress of a ship will support over 300 player-built structures on it!
Alongside the Galleon, we'll also be introducing new technical systems that will increase the number of player-built structures that can be placed on ships by up to four times, depending on the ship class. This will allow for even larger and more elaborate ship builds once the Galleon is ready to leave port.

Alongside today's Major Version update and Lumina's arrival, we also want to share an update on character restoration following the recent Official Network rollback.
Since the rollback, the team has been manually restoring impacted characters, and approximately 20% of reported characters have already been restored through that process.
Alongside that work, we've also been improving the restoration pipeline itself so the remaining impacted characters can be handled more quickly and at a much larger scale and fortunately had a breakthrough. We are now successfully able to systematically identify lost characters reported through our form and programmatically restore them in game. This significantly eliminates the amount of time a single restoration would take, and also lays the groundwork for this process to become automated in the future.
With these improvements, we now expect to have 95% of impacted characters restored by the end of the day, with the remaining complex cases which require manual investigation to be restored by the end of the weekend. We know this has been a frustrating situation for players who have been waiting to get back to their characters, and we appreciate everyone's patience.
If you believe you are still missing a character and have not yet submitted a report, please use the character restoration form here.
Before submitting the form, please check your other servers and the cloud to make sure the character is not already available elsewhere. Once you open the form, follow the steps provided and make sure the information is accurate before submitting.
Please include the following details:
EOS ID
To find this, enter Single Player, open the console, and type whoami. This should display a long string of numbers and letters beginning with 000 (three zeros).
Account name
Implant number, if available
This is helpful, but restoration can still be completed without it.
Official Network cluster
For example: PvE, PvP, Small Tribes, Console Small Tribes, or another Official cluster.
If you are on console, you may need to use a keyboard to enter the whoami command. If you do not have access to a keyboard, this helper mod can be used instead.
After your form has been submitted, there is nothing else you need to do while restoration is processed. Once restored, your character will appear in the cloud, so you can check there periodically.
While waiting for restoration, you may continue playing on other characters, but please avoid the following actions:
Do not transfer other characters through the cloud.
Do not transfer items through the cloud.
Do not upload or download items through the cloud.
Do not upload or download tames through the cloud.
Do not play Club ARK.
We keep a limited number of character backups, and repeated cloud-related actions can overwrite the save data needed for restoration.
Today's update also includes a range of fixes across gameplay systems, bugs and stability, with more post-launch improvements already in progress. We'll continue monitoring the live environment closely, working through your valuable player reports, and releasing follow-up patches as we move through the launch period.

Pull up a chair, Survivors. Everyone knows the legendary ARK veteran Bob, played by Karl Urban, but you haven't truly heard a tale until you've survived his swashbuckling exploits on the high seas. Hoist the sails and experience his next chapter of incredibly true adventures in ARK Tides of Fortune!
The simulated ocean of Genesis Ascended Part 1 has opened into a massive, map-wide nautical frontier. Chart a course across a vast sea, hunt for buried treasure, and clash with treacherous enemies in explosive naval combat. The new weapons, structures, cosmetics, and exotic creatures included in Tides of Fortune can be unleashed across the ARK universe, but the deep physics-driven waters of Genesis are where this swashbuckling arsenal truly comes alive.
• Naval Fleet: Construct customizable seaworthy vessels at the Shipyard, including the swift Sloop and the towering Brigantine. Transform your ship into a true floating fortress by building out the decks, painting the hull, flying your own Jolly Roger, and sailing into battle with sea shanties ringing over the roar of cannon fire!
• Ship Combat: Take the helm to manually aim and fire your broadside cannons, either solo or as a cooperative multiplayer team! Utilize specialty ammo like Incendiary and Corrosive Cannonballs to give enemy armadas no quarter and send them to Davy Jones' locker, all without micromanaging a crew.
• Ship Skill Tree: Customize your vessel's seafaring capabilities by investing your plunder across three distinct skill trees: Piracy, Merchant, and Luxury.
• Tidepup: As adorable as it is invaluable, this benevolent semi-aquatic salamander specializes in support, protection, and healing. Keep it as a Juvenile shoulder-pet to defend against incoming damage and dispel negative effects, or evolve it into a Mature rideable mount capable of creating a regenerative healing zone for your allies.
• Parrot: Your new feathery friend tracks valuable treasure sources like Cave Crates, Alpha Creatures, and enemy Ships. And by completing missions together, your Parrot can also earn Bonding Feathers, a wildcard resource which substitutes any imprint or passive tame requirement, with effectiveness scaling from your Parrot's stats.
Cinematic Cutscenes & Milestones: Track your survivor's journey through entirely new Milestones! Prove your mastery across a wide range of challenges, from commanding naval fleets and unearthing treasure, to conquering Genesis gauntlets and taming powerful X-Creatures. Achieve these milestones to earn points for deep specialization skill trees, while hitting major thresholds unlocks spectacular cinematic sequences starring Karl Urban as Bob and Auli'i Cravalho as Meeka, continuing the narrative into ARK's future!
Play as a Legend: Step directly into the boots of the myth himself! Tides of Fortune adds a third default character creation option, allowing you to play as "Cinematic Bob", featuring the likeness and voice of Karl Urban. You can also equip Bob's signature look as a full-body cosmetic costume to bring his legendary style to your existing Survivor. All existing costumes, armor, hairstyles, and other cosmetics are compatible with Cinematic Bob!
• Hand Cannon: A brutal, single-shot firearm loaded with unique Grapeshot ammo. It excels at close-quarters deck clearing, delivering massive knockback to forcibly launch boarding enemies and creatures right into the drink!
• Shovel: Bring your trusty shovel to sandy shores to unearth buried treasure caches revealed by drifting Treasure Map Bottles found across the ocean.
• Shipyard: A massive water-based drydock used to construct and deploy your majestic fleet.
• Aquatic Compartment: Build custom, water-filled enclosed rooms on land to breed your aquatic beasts or design the ultimate submerged smuggler's den.
• Cargo Ledger: Keep your plunder in shipshape order! This central logistics hub ties all your nearby storage crates together, letting you effortlessly track, organize, and pull exactly what you need from across your entire pirate haven.
• Market: Set up your own map-wide bazaar! This player-driven trading post lets you peddle your plunder, establish buy and sell orders, and cut deals using Hexagons. It also acts as an offshore Hexchange, giving you direct access to the HLN-A store across any ARK.
• Bounty Board: Turn your tribe into a crew of hired guns! This mission hub issues shared, repeatable dynamically-generated contracts to hunt down designated targets in exchange for a hefty haul of Hexagons.
• Fish Tank: Showcase your rarest ocean catches in an ornate aquarium adorned with detailing and customizable aquascapes, turning your favorite finds from the deep into a striking nautical centerpiece.
• High Seas Encounters: Take the fight to the open water! Engage in explosive ship-to-ship combat against hostile ships, then breach and sabotage massive Ocean Outposts in thrilling, multi-phase fortress raids.
• Structure Skins: Fully customize your pirate haven with the new Spanish Colonial Architecture tileset. Decorate your captain's quarters with pirate-themed storage boxes, a Hammock Bed, a Captain's Desk, oil lamps, and more! • Player Outfits: Dress the part of a true buccaneer with the Scurvy, Fancy, or Captain Pirate outfits. • Accessories: Complete your seaworthy look with the Eye Patch, Peg Leg, and a razor-sharp Cutlass Sword skin.
Every daring voyage begins with a map, a ship, and a fortune waiting beyond the horizon. Build your fleet, raise your colors, and boldly go to carve your legend across the ocean's tides!
Awaken within a cloudbound paradise where the earth has fractured into a world of floating islands, and myths take flight. High above these magical grounds, Survivors must learn a new rhythm of survival alongside the true rulers of the sky: dragons. Across a vast aerial ecosystem, ARK: Dragontopia invites you to step off the edge and master the skies. Guided by the echoes of a lost order of dragonriders, you'll enter a land where legends breathe anew. As a fierce new threat claims the horizon, it is up to you to restore balance!
Between the sun and moon, the skies teem with draconic legends. Encounter titanic behemoths that devour resources and enemies alike, and elegant, wind-dancing steeds that gallop across the clouds. From deadly four-winged assassins, to multi-headed beasts of dual-breathed chaos, and loyal shoulder-drakes that guard you on your journey, every dragon in this realm demands its own path to taming. You'll need to observe, learn, and master each of these temperamental creatures' unique rhythms before they ever let you take the saddle.
To survive this new high-altitude frontier, you'll need to grow through the Dragon Skill Trees, a new progression system built around strengthening your bond with these mythical beasts. Craft highly specialized gear and wield potent tools, and expand your base with a draconic tileset, incubator backpacks, and mysterious potion stations. But these skies are actively contested, and you are the realm's last hope to break the vanguard of a ruthless airborne invader!
Eclipsar Umbra
Meet the legendary obsidian terror born to claim the night sky. Bound to your will through the mythic Dragon Horn, this shadow-forged executioner strikes with terrifying, unpredictable speed. Rain precision plasma from the cover of darkness, or slip through the void itself to ambush unsuspecting prey. As his fury builds in the heat of combat, Umbra awakens his ultimate form, a blinding surge of raw energy that shatters enemy defenses and renders him a near-untouchable terror of the skies.
Dragon Skill Tree
Unlock a brand-new progression path that lets you forge a deeper bond with your dragons. Push the limits of their gravity-defying acrobatics, amplify their shadow-forged plasma attacks, or tailor their defensive auras as you shape the ultimate apex predator around your exact playstyle.
Drake Claw Grappler
Wield this essential new tool for high-altitude traversal and midair dragon mounting.
Draconic Armor
Equip this cosmetic set and look every inch the legendary dragonrider.
Your journey into the clouds is just beginning. Secure Dragontopia now and you're locked in for a massive rollout of content over the coming months:
July: Lumina awakens! Umbra's sun-sworn counterpart takes flight to restore celestial balance. Scatter brilliant celestial traps to punish your pursuers, or bend light itself to vanish in a flash and outmaneuver any threat. When pushed to the brink, Lumina erupts into her ultimate sun-flare state, stripping away technological defenses and rising as a blazing sovereign of the clouds. When united in battle with her shadowedkin, their celestial synergy ignites, forging an unstoppable alliance of speed, armor, and destruction.
October: A colossal sky-behemoth rises. This heavily armored juggernaut dominates the clouds by inhaling everything in its path, drawing resources, enemies, and even allies into its cavernous maw. It can weaponize its consumed payload, violently expelling it as a devastating barrage to scatter targets below. As it consumes the battlefield, its sheer mass swells to absorb incoming fire, allowing it to anchor down and become an immovable bulwark against any siege.
December: Prepare to take flight into a boundless, map-wide skyworld. Explore fantastical floating landmasses surrounded by countless procedural shattered isles, unlock the secrets of aerial phenomena, conquer enemy outposts, gain a tremendous variety of new items, new vehicles, and cosmetics, and most important of all, bond with the complete mythical roster of dragons! Repel the onslaught of a merciless invading legion, and face off against an apex threat unlike anything ARK has ever seen!
The dragons are waking, the islands are calling, and the Skies of Dragontopia are yours to claim!
Awaken within a fractured virtual simulation, a forbidding world unlike anything you've seen before. ARK: Genesis Ascended Part 1 represents a story-oriented beginning in ARK's epic saga of survival. With your holographic companion, HLN-A, you must overcome the simulation's rigorous tests. Only by fighting, building, taming, and exploring will you uncover the dark secrets behind this place.
Your guide, HLN-A, offers a wide array of missions at varying difficulty levels for you to tackle at your own pace. Gun down waves of enemies with the aid of power-ups, escort vulnerable baby creatures, track powerful bosses, or compete in high-speed Dino Races. Earn extra credit by fixing the glitches scattered throughout the world, and spend your rewarded Hexagons on resources, TEK items, and more.
The simulator tests your mettle across beautiful biomes ripe for exploration, but they all want you dead. Survive fetid alien bogs, dive into deep undersea trenches, endure frigid mountain peaks, brave dangerous volcanic hellscapes, and float across the wild low-gravity surface of an alien moon. Conquering each area requires preparation, smarts, and the ability to improvise so that when a volcano rains fire from the sky, an avalanche buries you, or a whirlpool pulls you into the briny deep, you're ready to meet the challenge!
Dive into a massive, map-wide ocean biome built on a completely overhauled water physics system. Prepare for a true maritime experience with dynamic waves and realistic buoyancy as you navigate the high seas. Discover islands and hidden fortresses that set the stage for chaotic, wide-scale ocean warfare. Whether you are leading a pod of deep-sea beasts, braving dynamic new weather systems on a makeshift raft, or clashing with enemy armadas, the waters are yours to conquer.
The environments may be dangerous, but they are nothing compared to the beasts that call ARK: Genesis home:
New with Ascended, Palaeoctopus: Master the ocean depths with this cliff-climbing cephalopod that uses its crushing tentacles to seize dual targets and supplies your tribe with limitless colored ink.
• Bloodstalker: Swing through the treacherous canopy of the bogs on this web-spinning terror. • Ferox: Seek out this cute companion that shape-shifts into a deadly, Element-fueled behemoth. • Megachelon: Command an island-sized sea turtle that serves as the ultimate foundation for mobile ocean bases. • Magmasaur: Ride this fiery lizard that acts as a living, breathing industrial forge. • Astrocetus: Take your tribe to the stars by taming an immense, hyperspace-capable space whale.
As you brave the many dangers of the simulation, craft powerful new gear. Wield combo-capable Plasma Claws and remote-guided Cruise Missiles. Master tools from Fishing Nets to Mining Drills, or pilot advanced new vehicles like the Hover Skiff. Build interactive structural elements such as pressure plates, alarm systems, jump pads, ocean platforms, and more. Whether you're a go-it-alone survivalist, a weapon-making warmonger, or a base-building architect, this expansion has a crafting project suited for you.
ARK: Genesis takes your story in an all-new direction, and your skill determines your success. Everything is turned up to the highest setting: the challenges, the dangers... and the vast rewards. Only the toughest and smartest survivors will pass all of the simulation's many tests. Will you be one of them?
ARK Tides of Fortune: Galleon
The Galleon will not be available at launch and is currently planned for release in August.
As our largest ship to date, we’re taking a little extra time to refine it further and make sure it’s ready for a smooth release across all platforms.
Alongside the Galleon, we'll also be introducing new technical systems that will increase the number of player-built structures that can be placed on ships by up to four times, depending on the ship class. This will allow for even larger and more elaborate ship builds once the Galleon is ready to leave port.

The simulation is stretching to its limits, and on July 2nd, the boundaries fracture completely. With the official arrival of Genesis Ascended Part 1 and ARK Tides of Fortune, the world transforms into a massive, uncharted nautical frontier.
Survivors will soon trade solid ground for rolling waves and physics-driven waters, charting courses across vast oceans in search of buried fortunes, custom fleets built to clash in explosive naval warfare, and the kind of high-seas trouble that only Bob could insist is completely, unquestionably true.
For now, enjoy the calm before the tide rolls in. Stockpile your resources, rally your crew, and take one last look at the shore. The sea is calling, but keep an eye on the shifting clouds too; the ocean isn't the only place where legends are beginning to stir.

Official Classic servers will be transitioning to Conquest servers shortly after Genesis 1 is launched. Conquest focuses on large-scale PvP, with increased rates, and other changes listed below. There will be a 3 day transferring period from Classic servers to some of the Genesis 1 Conquest servers. The increased rates will allow tribes to set up and establish themselves quickly and enable them to rebuild after potential losses instead of being wiped completely.
The official Classic servers are open for PC, Xbox and, Playstation and will transition to Conquest servers on July 3rd at 4 PM PDT.

Keep it as a Juvenile shoulder pet to defend against incoming damage and dispel negative effects, or evolve it into a Mature, full-sized mount capable of creating a regenerative healing zone for your tribe.
With pirate crews preparing to set sail and new horizons waiting beyond the waves, you may soon discover that the most important member of your crew isn't the one firing the cannons, it's the one ensuring everyone makes it back to shore in one piece.
The Anniversary event is extended until June 18th.
This event can be manually activated with the dedicated server arg parameter: -ActiveEvent=Birthday or via a drop-down menu in Host/Single Player mode.

Hey Survivors, after careful assessment, we've opted to begin the process of sunsetting a selection of our inactive official servers. Our goal is to ensure that we're always delivering the best experience possible, and official servers exist as a way for the community to play together without having to host their own. When we launch fresh content, typically, we put up more servers than we need in the long term to match the peak in user capacity; over time, these servers become ghost towns as players have dropped off and are waiting for the next major content release.
As part of this process, the servers will be renamed with the “SUNSET” prefix, following the same approach we’ve used in the past. Please note that once renamed, these servers will be removed from the in-game Favorites list, so you’ll need to search for them manually to reconnect.
After further evaluation, the following servers have been removed from the sunset list:
We still intend to provide capacity at launches as much as possible to meet the higher need during those periods.
We’re working with our partner at Nitrado to offer these saves after the scheduled sunset through Nitrado’s interface. Please stay tuned for more details.
The Official Network will be receiving bonus rates! It will be active until Thursday, June 18.

Few creatures in ARK have earned a reputation quite like the Therizinosaurus. Equal parts fiber-farming machine, frontline menace, and feathery nightmare, the beloved Tickle Chicken has been a staple of survivor life for years. With this TLC, we’re looking to sharpen what already makes it special, giving its role, feel, and personality a more modern pass while keeping the chaotic charm that made players love it in the first place.
Today, we’re sharing an early look at where that work is headed. This is just the start of the Therizinosaurus TLC journey, and we’ll have more to show as development continues.

The tides are turning.
On June 25, Genesis Ascended Part 1 launches alongside ARK Tides of Fortune, ushering in a new age of seafaring adventure. Command your own sailing ship, engage in naval warfare, hunt for treasure, and carve out your legend across the ARKs' open waters. With new water physics, customizable vessels, and a vast ocean playground filled with islands, fortresses, and dangers to discover, life at sea is about to become an adventure all its own.
Of course, every good pirate tale needs a monster from the deep.
Arriving free for all players with Genesis Ascended, the Palaeoctopus lurks beneath the waves, ready to turn calm seas into chaos. As captains set sail in search of fortune, they'll soon discover that not every adventure at sea goes according to plan.
But not every new arrival is here to sink your ship.
The Tidepup, arriving with ARK Tides of Fortune, is a rare exception in the ARKs: a creature whose first instinct is to help rather than harm. This benevolent amphibian has earned a reputation as a wandering healer, offering aid to injured creatures wherever it roams. For Survivors willing to prove their own compassionate nature, the Tidepup may become one of the most loyal companions they've ever met.
Whether you're assembling a crew, charting unknown waters, or preparing for your next broadside, adventure awaits just beyond the horizon.

This week brought plenty of new life to ARK Survival Ascended!
While the Burrowbuck is out there kicking up dust and the Araneo is busy re-weaving the meta, this week’s focus shifts to a very different kind of companion preparing to make waves on the ARK.
This week, we’re taking a closer look at the Tidepup, the next creature arriving with Bob’s True Tales: Tides of Fortune when Genesis Ascended Part 1 launches on June 25.
Small, loyal, and shaped by your adventures together, the Tidepup brings a different kind of companion to the ARK. Its dossier offers a first look at how this curious little healer grows, adapts, and finds its place alongside Survivors.
We’ve also got the latest community creations, mod spotlights, and more from across the ARK community. Let’s get into it!
This little charmer may be the first truly altruistic organism I've ever encountered. These salamandrous samaritans wander round healing the injured and sick… Even the fiercest predators seem keenly aware of the Tidepup's benevolence, granting them safe passage across the ARKs free from predation. So here’s living proof that the ‘fittest’ can survive by choosing kindness.
Befriending a Tidepup is amazingly easy. Demonstrate your compassionate nature by bringing it your injured pets to heal, until it's tuckered out. Allow the creature to rest a bit before repeating the process, and soon it will see you as a kindred spirit. You’ll know you’ve earned its trust when you feel those healing hands on your shoulder. It will even make room for a SECOND shoulder-pet as it travels on you!
You're always safer with a Tidepup around. Your gentle new friend will help you recover from any misfortune or malady, and cleanse you of any debilitating toxin or condition. Should it be gravely injured, your patron healer will curl up into a portable lucky charm until it can recuperate.
Once you prove yourself worthy through good works, your Tidepup can expand itself into a thorny dragon-sized amphibious mount with an equally-extended curative range. In its larger form, this gentle giant will monitor friends for sickness and injury and minister to them as needed.
