New updates have just rolled out from the workshop. The update includes updated visuals, some optimizations, and more fixes. Details are listed below.
Content Update
Updated character sprites
Added a character position tracker in the dungeon by pressing the F3 button, so you can report bugs more accurately to us
Added damage numbers to Pucelle when hit by enemies
Added an 'X' sign if you fail a quest
Optimizations
Changed the button prompt position when interacting with Watcher (Q/Exit on the left, E/Talk on the right)
Changed the position of 'Required Material' from left to right in the Crafting screen
Updated highlighted words in the dialogue box with a larger font
Reapplied occlusion culling to the 2D environment assets
Fixes
Fixed bushes LOD
Fixed loading screen
Fixed overlapping quest text
Fixed wrong button prompts in some UI screens
Fixed the store collider. No more passing through the wall now
Fixed the collider of stone rubbles and pink mushroom disks in the dungeon
Fixed character movement/animation when standing on the edge of a platform
Fixed the issue that makes the cursor disappear when moving from one tab to another in the menu
The Mushrooms Desperately Need a Break...
We also want to inform you that after a year of developing non-stop, Mushroomallow will take a break this December and will continue development again in January 2024. We will still reply and take note of all bug reports and suggestions we receive, but we'll address them in January.
For Playtesters
We decided to deactivate the playtest build on December 10 at 11 pm WIB (UTC+7). But once again, if you miss it, you can still play Wonder Wandelier from the demo build, which will be available at all times. Our Discord server is also available at all times if you want to send your feedback.

Thank you for checking out our first Steam Announcement! I'm Mori, the community manager at Mushroomallow, and I'll be keeping you posted on Wonder Wandelier's development.
Let's dive into what you're eager to know:
The Playtest Build
Following playtest sessions with our QAs, we've identified the primary issue in our current build—UI clarity. Some of these concerns include:

Insufficient contrast between the UI background and white-colored text.
Font size being too small.
The need for an additional dark-colored background behind text pop-ups.
We've also recognized issues with the tutorial delivery. Given our current team size (just 5 of us) and resources, for the present build we're opting for text and dialogues to deliver the tutorial. The UI clarity concerns have impacted the tutorial delivery and thus, impacted the overall gameplay experience. These issues are on our radar for resolution this week (Nov 13-17) as we aiming to launch the playtest by the weekend.
We're also simultaneously setting up a Discord server for community gathering, bug reporting, and direct feedback. Stay tuned for another announcement once the Discord server and the playtest build are ready!
