Summer Update
New Chapter – The Attic
After a long and tiring day, Kevin returned to his room to sleep. But unfortunately, he didn’t listen to his mother. The attic was the perfect spot to secretly play with toys. However, the old toys that had been lying there for years didn’t quite see it that way…
New Enemies
In the attic, you may encounter forgotten old toys. Not even Kevin remembers who they once belonged to.
New Units and Ability
New units joining Kevin’s green army, along with Kevin’s new ability, will prove to be quite useful in the Attic.
And of Course, a New Boss!
A powerful boss who wants to electrocute your troops is waiting for you!
New Achievements
There are 3 new achievements you can earn while playing the new chapter:

Western Hero: Kill 50 enemies with the new soldier unit.
Smells Burnt: Light a total of 30 matches.
Calm After the Storm: Defeat the Attic boss.
Minor Bug Fixes
Several small bugs have been fixed to provide a smoother experience.
Important Note: If you've completed the game at least once in the previous version, it will automatically continue from the new Attic chapter. Please note that the new features are not yet available in Endless or Creative modes — we plan to bring these additions to other modes in the next update.

SPRING UPDATE
Controller Support: You can now play the game seamlessly with any controller. We’re continuing to improve some features of controller support.
Leaderboard: We’ve added a leaderboard for Endless Mode, where you can compete with other players based on the wave level you reach. The player who reaches the highest wave gets the top spot!
Endless Mode Improvements: Based on your feedback, we’ve made several enhancements to Endless Mode:

Added a save game feature.
Added the option to choose the type of card to draw.
Added a x5 game speed button.
Fixed several minor bugs.
Winter Theme Removal: Some leftover winter-themed elements from the Winter Update have been removed from the game.
Minor Bug Fixes: We’ve fixed a few small bugs affecting gameplay.

The latest update for Toy Shire is here! This update is focused on QoL features and making the game accessible to more people. Along with the update, the game will be discounted 20% during the Autumn Sale!
Autumn Update

Steam Cloud Save Support: You just have to start the game once to have your save uploaded to the Cloud, and then you can keep playing where you left off on any of your other systems.
Mac & Linux Builds: Speaking of other systems, Toy Shire is now fully playable on Mac & Linux as well!
New Resolution Options: 1280x800, 1366x768, 1440x900, 1600x900, 1920x1200, 2560x1600, 3440x1440
Head Shake Disable Option: We heard your feedback about the movement of Kevin's head. You can now disable the wobble effect.

We've been silently hard at work for the last couple of months, but now we are excited to announce that Toy Shire is coming out very soon! Toy Shire will be released in Early Access on August 26. Thank you for your patience! With the launch, we will also be running a 10% discount for two weeks, so make sure not to miss out on the discount during our release window!

What's in Early Access?
The Early Access release version offers around 4–5 hours of playtime based on our playtests. Below, you can find a list of features that you can expect to find in the Early Access release.

A total of 12 levels.4 rooms in Kevin's house, each with 3 levels to complete and a boss fight at the end.
8 types of towers and 8 types of soldiers for you to bolster your defenses or go on the attack with.
28 types of basic enemies and 4 bosses. Each room has 7 different types of enemies and a unique boss at the end.
Creative Mode, where you can make your own levels using more than 100 objects at your disposal. Share your levels or play levels made by others through Steam Workshop.
More than 30 achievements to earn.
3 different difficulty levels to cater to all types of players.
Shortly after the release of Early Access, we'll be making an update that introduces fun minigames and integrate Steam Cloud Saves. For more information about our future plans, you can check out our current roadmap below.
Why Early Access?
As you can see from our roadmap, we have big plans for Toy Shire. In order to accomplish those goals, we figured it would be best to involve the community during that process. This doesn't mean we think Toy Shire isn't ready yet, we hope that you'll find that the game has enough content for now and is polished well.
We want to get your feedback on the content that's ready as we work on those big updates for the future. Your feedback will allow us to make necessary changes and fine-tune the balancing of the game, so that we can make Toy Shire the best it can be. For any feedback, please join our Discord server, use the Steam Discussions forums, or leave a review!

We come to you with great news. We've been working on a new update for the demo version for a while now. Now that the moment has arrived, here are the patch notes!
What's New

Creative Mode: Now you don't only have to play on the levels we made. With this mode you can create your own levels and even share them with your friends through the workshop.
Level 3: The story mode picks up where it left off... For the demo version, we added all the levels in Kevin's room to the game. You can fight against different enemies in the table, bed and carpet sections.
New Enemy Bases: There are different enemy bases that vary according to the different levels. You can also use them in creative mode.
New Enemies: Meet two new enemies we added for Level 3.
Changes

Balance changes: We've tried to balance the levels for the demo as much as we can. Of course, there are some balance issues in the current version as well. We plan to fix them as soon as possible.
Level 1 Enemies Reworked: Instead of making Level 1 purely tutorial, we've transformed it into a normal game format after a few waves.
Level 2 Redesigned: Due to our desire for a more controlled difficulty increase, we've redesigned Level 2.
Soldiers Getting Stuck Issue: Soldiers couldn't hit enemies again after taking damage due to the damage-receiving animation until they died. Now, soldiers do not enter the damage-receiving animation except for heavy-hitting large enemies.
Mortar Not Firing Issue: After the cannon stayed out of range after firing at enemies, it used to go into a zero-waiting time. This issue has been fixed.
Many minor bugs in the game have been fixed.
You can try the new version by downloading the demo right now! Don't forget to report any bugs and suggestions you encounter in the game on our Discord server. We continue to improve the game at full speed. Have a good game!
