Hello fellow Nonogram enthusiasts! I am thrilled to announce the latest update for NONOTOWN, now live in the Beta branch with version 1.0.139. This update brings a range of exciting improvements and fixes to enhance your nonogram-solving experience. Let's dive into what's new:

New Hint System for Color Nonograms: I've introduced a brand-new hint system specifically designed for color nonograms, making your solving journey more intuitive and enjoyable.
Block Locking Feature: In "Blocks" and "Color Blocks" game types, you can now "Lock" a block by marking it, indicating that it's correctly placed. This feature helps me keep track of blocks in their correct positions.
Visual Bug Fixes: I've addressed visual bugs in blocks and font sizes within nonogram hints, ensuring a smoother and clearer interface.
Color Enhancements: Certain colors in color puzzles have been adjusted to improve contrast and readability, making puzzles easier to decipher.
Improved "?" Marks: Now, "?" marks can be overwritten in "Toggle" input mode, providing me with more flexibility during gameplay.
Refreshed Block Puzzles: I've revamped block puzzles in the Sports and School categories under the "Blocks" game type.
Double Click Bug Fix: I fixed a bug related to double-clicking blocks, ensuring the second rotation functions correctly.
UI Enhancements: I've resolved an issue preventing the last played category from loading correctly, allowing for seamless puzzle selection within that category.
Miscellaneous Bug Fixes: I also squashed several minor bugs to improve overall game stability.
I have a couple of additional features in the pipeline before I update the game to the master version, ensuring all players can enjoy these enhancements soon. I appreciate your patience as I work on these final touches.

I'm thrilled to share the latest developments in our journey to enhance your puzzle-solving experience in NONOTOWN. Here's a roundup of what I've been hard at work on recently:

Color Nonogram Hint System (aka Advanced): I've been diligently refining the new hint system for color nonograms. This enhancement aims to provide a more sophisticated and enjoyable gameplay experience for our players who love tackling colorful challenges.
Resolution Refinement for Color and BlockColor Puzzles: I conducted a thorough review of the resolution for color and BlockColor puzzles. During this process, I identified 11 color puzzles with multiple resolution issues. Rest assured, these puzzles have been meticulously modified to ensure uniqueness and clarity.
Singular Solution Focus for BlockColor Puzzles: Currently, my focus lies on refining BlockColor puzzles to ensure each one has a single, unique solution. This attention to detail aims to elevate the puzzle-solving experience and maintain the integrity of the game's challenges.
Bug Fixes and Beta Branch Deployment: In addition to puzzle enhancements, I've addressed several minor bugs reported by our vigilant community members. .
These fixes will be rolled out to the Beta branch shortly
As I near completion of the color puzzle review, my next steps involve:

Interface Improvement Adjustments: I plan to implement interface enhancements to streamline your gameplay experience further.
Cell Count Option Review: A thorough examination of the Cell Count Option feature is on my agenda to ensure it meets the needs and preferences of our players.
Once these tasks are completed t, I'll deploy the updates to the main branch.

I am thrilled to announce the latest update to NONOTOWN, bringing the game to version 1.0.124! Your feedback has been invaluable, and I'm excited to share the improvements we've made based on your suggestions.
What's New:

Disable Autofill Option: Your feedback matters, and I've listened! In response to your suggestions, I've added an option to disable the autofill of lines with [X] when completing clues. Now you have more control over how you want to approach each puzzle.
New Hint Algorithm: I've introduced an additional hint-solving algorithm, enhancing the puzzle-solving experience. The best part? You get to choose which algorithm to use! This feature is available for both Classic and Blocks game types. Importantly, the modes/game types "Color" and "Block Color" remain unaffected by these changes.
Looking Ahead:
I'm not stopping here! I am committed to continuously enhancing the gameplay experience and, excitingly, I'll be releasing the Linux version in the near future. Stay tuned for more updates!
