A small patch to squash a small batch of bugs, along with improvements to photosensitivity options too.
BUGFIXES:

Fixed a bug where music would fade back quieter after vising MEMORIES menu.
Fixed a bug where standing on stairs and pushing a statue from a button to another button activated both buttons at once.
Fixed a bug where standing on stairs and pushing a dark idol from its activation position to a button still activated a reset.
MISC:

Changed FLICKER graphical option to FLASHING FX, and added option REDUCED to make the game more photosensitive-friendly (this can be toggled with F5 as well).
Added new MELLOW palette to further help mitigate rapidly flashing effects.
Furthermore, other palettes have been slightly adjusted for a more pleasant eye experience as well.
Knock knock knock: slightly altered the logic behind secret knock interactions with objects and how the knocks are counted/reset.
1.1.3:
And as you might've noticed, ver 1.1.2 was shortly followed by 1.1.3, as 1.1.2 was plagued by instant crashes on seemingly random clients. Based on it occurring only on the very last 1.1.2 build on Steam and not the test builds leading up to it or the itch.io build, we concluded it was probably a miscompile. (💀)
As a further precaution, 1.1.3 was made to use the same compiler as 1.1.1 did, instead of a newer one that 1.1.2 used. An added benefit to this is that window resize behavior is more consistent, as it was up to 1.1.1.

BUGFIXES:

Fixed being able to run over the stairs on the same turn as something presses the switch opening them.
The mimic won't be confused by pausing the game anymore.
Mitigated occasional music-timed animation desyncs.

The main focus of this long overdue update is to bring the in-game music tracks up to par with the soundtrack's Steam/Bandcamp release, which had some small extra touches. Sorry about the delay.
If you listen closely, you might spot the differences!
This version also comes with a plethora of bugfixes, typo corrections and other small miscellaneous adjustments, most of which have been blissfully forgotten at the time of writing. Nevertheless, we're thankful for your continued support and bug reports!
BUGFIXES:

During certain edge cases (mostly involving lightning statues, bomb floors and Void Wings), player was able to move twice per "turn" and avoid certain doom.
Re-entering dev room at certain point would loop the music incorrectly.
MISC:

The requirements for a certain young hothead appearing during the DIS end credits have been slightly altered.
The game no longer takes (or reads) save backups that are explicitly not Steam Cloud synced. This resolves an issue concerning multiple Steam users on the same device, where a user starting the game completely fresh would inherit another user's save file from that device, skipping who knows how far ahead.

BUGFIXES:

When killing the floor, baby, and getting hit simultaneously, player would immediately die upon entering the next floor. Now the player dies on the spot as they should and the boss remains dead once the room resets.
Certain targeting reticles now disappear when a player VOIDs upon dying, instead of staying on the screen.
Picking up HP number before Succubus is finished filling it now makes her go away.
Fixed a specific scenario where you could Double K.O. against a determined enemy, get VOIDed, beat them again and softlock the game.
MISC:

Added new graphical settings: Full screen scaling, Border color, Vsync and Flicker.
You can now map actions to pressing the gamepad sticks. (on XInput gamepads)
Steam Cloud now syncs certain settings selectively, such as display, audio and gamepad settings. This makes it much less of a hassle when jumping between different systems, like PC and Steam Deck.
Some textures are preloaded to prevent the game from chugging when, for example, viewing dialogue for the first time.
Miscellaneous typos and visual glitches have been fixed.

To combat possible save corruption, the game now takes several backup saves it can load in case your save file goes bad. Rest in peace, rare unlucky save files, your sacrifices weren't in vain...
These notes also cover 1.0.4, which was a minor enough patch to go undocumented at the time. As usual, patch notes may contain spoilers, so be careful!
BUGFIXES:

The game now takes backups to combat save corruption.
Reinforced a wall that would secretly break due to certain big head's absence.
Several other smaller bug and QoL fixes.
MISC:

Made some further adjustments/balancing to extra modes' scoring systems.
Stranger 1's homing shots now home into giant star bullets.
The stray pixels in the game's Steam library logo have been re-moved.

BUGFIXES:

If the game's assigned audio device is disconnected during play, characters' idle animations no longer freeze for eternity.
Fixed a bug during the chase scene where killing the treasure hunter prematurely would keep playing the chase theme. Now music returns to normal if the player reacquires their staff before the end of the sequence.
Fixed some abnormal behaviour while using Void Wings during a certain boss battle, baby.
MISC:

Increased input leniency on 0stRanger's melee attack.
Made some adjustments/balancing to 0stRanger mode's scoring system.
Added a version number to new 0stRanger hiscore entries.
0stRanger hiscores can now be reseted at the mode's title screen by holding PAUSE button, inputting Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right and then releasing PAUSE.
If the player tries to enter a blank brand at the title screen while any of the Special Brands are active, the confirmation message changes.
Several typos and visual glitches have been fixed.

Fixed a bug where manipulating item tiles and then dying in tree rooms would in some situations remove player's items completely upon restarting the game.
Fixed a bug where talking to a famished man after their collapse would still reduce player's locust idols by one.
Fixed a bug where a certain NPC would prematurely disappear from dev rooms if player closed the game after talking to them for a final time. The NPC should reappear after this patch if you've already softlocked yourself.
Fixed a bug where striking a certain someone's true form while taking damage at the same time would result a hard crash.
MISC:

A hint towards a certain someone's weak spot will now appear after some time.
Continuous acts of frustration while VOID might lead you succumbing to the Void completely...
Slightly altered the way certain enigmatic objects would react to player's actions.
Several typos and visual glitches have been fixed.

BUGFIXES:

While using "Infinity" brand, removing the locust icon next to the infinity icon would default the infinity icon to blank (or "00"). Now the infinity icon remains infinite.
Removing the infinity icon and getting punished at the same time would reset room. Now room remains sotftlocked.
If player's own brand was completely full, falling into a pit in B255 at the bottom of the screen would warp them into REDACTED.
Fixed a bug where knocking a small chest three times while behind it and then talking to an egg would softlock the game in certain situations.
Removing the last two digits of the brane value would softlock the game upon exiting the room. Now the game crashes properly.
Some other small fixes not reported previously.
MISC:

While using "Infinity" brand, chests that would normally contain locust idols are now empty.
A nonogram puzzle missing a number has been fixed.
Several typos/grammar errors have been fixed.
Minor visual adjustments (i.e. Y*** palette is now more pleasant to look at).
You can now more easily draw your brand while holding the button down.
