Did you know the idea for Tides of Tomorrow originally came from Road 96? We thought, “What if every character who made it to the border was played by a different player?” That question sparked the creation of our unique new feature: Online Story-Link! And here is a brand-new trailer that breaks it all down.
We also released a demo back in October — and we just updated it RIGHT NOW!
In this demo, you will discover one location from the opening act of the full game: Marketland. A vibrant yet unstable island, shaped by the decisions of another player you choose to follow— a friend, a streamer, or a stranger.

We've been working hard to make things better! Today, we're excited to release a new patch for Win 32 version fixing multiple technical issues:
Fixed an issue allowing the player to enter Zoe's Room before discussing with Kaito in Oasis Villas
Fixed an issue affecting the shed’s lightbulb when tearing off the cables in Oasis Villas.
Fixed an issue where Zoe’s voice clips would play instead of Kaito’s when using the seesaw in Oasis Villas.
A save point was added when going from Oasis Villas to the final map in act II.
Tweaked the tattoo minigame to prevent some issues affecting a small portion of players
Fixed an issue where Colton could sometimes be heard repeating himself when pushing him on the swing.
Fixed an issue preventing the player to progress during the walkie-talkie discussion in Hideout
Fixed an issue blocking the player if a ride replay was triggered during an after ride Hideout chapter
Removed John floating in the Hideout
Fixed an issue where John’s truck would sometimes appear floating in the air in the Hideout in act II.
The location of the bouncing ball in the Hideout has been changed.
Fixed a collider issue causing the player to fall through the map in Presidential Park
The turnstile in the Presidential Square’s police station now blocks the player as intended.
Fixed the issue where the music box in Presidential Square was erroneously referred to as a “pair of earrings” when playing the game in English.
Several parts of the treasure hunt mini-game have been fixed.
Fixed an issue affecting Stan & Mitch’s license plate texture
Fixed an issue allowing Zoe to fly out of bounds in the ride “A taste of freedom”.
Fixed an issue blocking the player from progressing after failing a certain QTE in the ride “A taste of freedom”.
Fixed an issue that could cause Zoe to be misaligned during a laser section in the ride “Heist at the palace”
Small changes to the credits
Fixed an issue that would cause the audio to echo when players used a headphone with certain audio compressed settings enabled.

We want to thank all of you who left your feedback about Road 96: Mile 0. We're sorry to hear that some of you have experienced technical difficulties while playing the game.
Our team is currently working hard to improve the game and gather all the valuable feedback that we've received. As part of our ongoing efforts, we are excited to release our first patch today, which aims to address the following issues:
Fixed an issue preventing players from jumping during rides when the ingame FPS was higher than ~275. The game is now limited to 240fps. Players can still override that value by activating Vsync and using a screen that has a refresh rate higher than 240hz but we do not recommend players using it during rides as it might trigger the bug again.
Fixed an issue allowing the player to enter Zoe's Room before discussing with Kaito in Oasis Villas
Fixed an issue preventing the player to progress during the talkie walkie discussion in Hideout
Fixed an issue blocking the player if a ride replay was triggered during an after ride hideout chapter
Fixed a collider issue causing the player to fall through the map in Presidential Park
Removed John floating in the Hideout
Added a game version canvas on the main menu

Still, it seems a slightly odd move, because Road 96 - a first person hitchhiking choose 'em up about the collective action of wayward teens bringing down a totalitarian government - doesn't really need a prequel. On top of that, Road 96: Mile 0 is a sequel to developer DigixArt's first game Lost In Harmony, a musical runner about skateboarder Kaito whose fiend Aya is dying of a terminal illness.
In Mile 0, Kaito and his family have moved to a small gated town called White Sands, in the 90s USA-adjacent dictatorship Petria, and made best friends with Zoe, who 96ers will remember as a recurring NPC from that game. Zoe is the daughter of an important minister and lives in the nice part of town; Kaito's parents are workers who are forced to live on the wrong side of the tracks. Through a combination of Road 96-style character-driven vignettes and Lost In Harmony-style rhythm action tracks, the two come to the conclusion they must leave White Sands. If you played Road 96 you kind of already know how Mile 0 has to end.
