Multiplayer Sync Fixes definitely tops the list for this update. This update has been a long time coming due to the need to spend the time on this issue, and our limited resources to dig deep. However, here it is! The team will be monitoring closely for any further reports related to MP sync.
The update also contains lots of content updates that were made by the design team while the coding team worked on the sync issues. New models, balance fixes, new equipment and new leaders. See below for full details.

As well as new content to keep up with world events (it's been pretty busy in the last six months), significant fixes in this update include player-requested improvements on aircraft movement (banking and travel range calculations), plus many internal engine enhancements such as Migration controls and UI enhancements. Also lots of new features for modders,

Update Build 1343 Live on Fasttrack
Over the last few months, much of our effort has been focused on the engine work required for the zombie and infection mechanics that will go into Supreme Ruler Global Outbreak, but we've also gotten many engine and content fixes done as well. The most significant fix in this upd
Over the last few months, much of our effort has been focused on the engine work required for the zombie and infection mechanics that will go into Supreme Ruler Global Outbreak, but we've also gotten many engine and content fixes done as well.
The most significant fix in this update was a focus on aircraft movement, banking and travel range calculations. We believe we've now resolved the majority of the engine issues that could cause aircraft to crash.
For modders, you can now assign land units to regions without any barracks and the engine will scatter units based on population in the region (larger cities first). We're not entirely sure how useful that will be, but some of the mods have been trying some very innovative ideas, so we wanted to make that possible. Air/Sea already look for the nearest airfield/pier if there was no reserve facility for them.

Leaders in 2025 and 2026 still represent possibilities or random leaders, we hope to keep updating those as time moves on. 2030 leaders are pure fiction or fun "what if" moments.

We've posted fasttrack updates over the last few months that made changes and improvements. Our latest fasttrack seems like a stable build and a good point to update all users to the latest features and content. Some of the changes seen in this update are part of the work to deve
We've posted fasttrack updates over the last few months that made changes and improvements. Our latest fasttrack seems like a stable build and a good point to update all users to the latest features and content.
Some of the changes seen in this update are part of the work to develop our next DLC, Supreme Ruler Global Outbreak. Some of the work done impacts the whole game engine so is being provided to all versions of the game. Additions to the tech tree and a new set of migration controls are probably the easiest additions to spot, but there are also some other engine improvements gained from the ongoing work. If you'd like to know more about the tech tree additions, check out our latest Feature Highlight on YouTube.

Work has also been done on multiplayer synchronisation. We've made a few fixes that should greatly increase stability, but we will continue to look at improving this. We've been able to successfully run tests with stable multiplayer for 2-3h at a time. We've also verified that hosts can put everyone back in sync by reconnecting and transferring their savegame to all players. Again, work on this will continue.

Summer time doesn't move as fast, but work is continuing for the Supreme Ruler series. Our apologies that there has been a longer than usual gap between public updates. The last few fasttrack updates we released had some elements we were concerned could have negative effects on gameplay, we needed more time to evaluate those changes before pushing it out to all users.
There are lots of changes across various areas. The weather system wasn't working properly and has been fixed. The visual effects of unit shot, hit and kill have been updated. We found a cause of multiplayer sync errors and have solved it, hopefully that's the last remaining such issue. Some changes also relate to the existing WW1 scenario or the upcoming DLCs for 1936 Remastered and Global Outbreak.

We realize that it's only been a few days since the last public update, but the community was quick to find some flaws in the new sanctions system, and we accidentally broke some of the tech tree in the last update, so adjusted our focus to get a new update ready as quickly as we
We realize that it's only been a few days since the last public update, but the community was quick to find some flaws in the new sanctions system, and we accidentally broke some of the tech tree in the last update, so adjusted our focus to get a new update ready as quickly as we could.
With version 1278, we've solved all the bugs that have been identified in the sanctions system. There may still be other issues, so please let us know if you see flaws in the system.
Below you'll find the full changelog for version 1278. It's a short list since it's been less than a week since the last update.

More fixes to sanctions and data file updates. We've even begun updating the tech tree flow chart for the recent additions (it's updated to ~1980, work is ongoing).
A new feature has been added to the game - regions can now be marked as sanctioned. This will put immediate diplomatic pressure on other regions. If you join a sanction, relations will degrade with the target. If you don't, your relations with the region that imposed the sanction will degrade. AI Units improvements regarding Naval Invasions, escorting naval transports, and Transit zones.
Improvements in combat and land capture related to partisans vs. garrisons, improving the rebels mechanics.
Naval AI improvements: New Defense minister priority of Escort Naval Transports.
The population growth model for births, deaths and migration has been improved based on player feedback.
Changes to unit behaviours when engaging/disengaging targets in combat
Adjustment to aircraft fuel reserve calculations to try and resolve cases of aircraft running out of fuel and crashing before they can get back to base.
More improvements to AI deploying aircraft to carriers
Fixes to carrier based aircraft returning to carriers after attacks

Update v.1238 extra content Full Changelog

1914 Leader stances updates. The goal is "more aggressive tactics" tied to leader stances
1914 region starting techs reviewed for all regions. Some post 1914 techs had incorrectly been assigned.
More Portuguese translations (might be done, we're looking for anything we've missed)

Today's update coincides with the release of our first DLC for Supreme Ruler 2030. You can now purchase Supreme Ruler The Great War Remastered. It is available as both a DLC and a stand alone version. When you purchase one of them, you get both added to your library. This update has a number of UI and quality of life fixes. We've also been continuing to clean up the game data to make region starting conditions and ongoing events more realistic. A focus was put on multiplayer testing in the last few weeks and a few different fixes are in this update and hopefully resolve the remaining multiplayer issues. In terms of content changes, most of them related to supporting the earlier eras so might not be immediately visible such as the different trains for the different eras.
We've also done some work to expand our game translations. The game can now be played in Portuguese. Once we've completed all our testing and confirmed we haven't missed any of the files that need translating we'll add the tag of official support on Steam, but users can already check it out. Please let us know if you find any text that's still in English.
We hope everyone continues to enjoy the game and the new DLC content. Watch for future announcements for what our next DLC will include. Please take a few minutes to leave a Steam review for the game.
