A possible workaround for this issue is to launch the game executable as an administrator. To do this, make sure you are logged in as the system admin, the right-click on the executable and select “Run as Admin”.
Does the game support SLI or Crossfire dual GPUs?
No. For best performance, it is recommended that you disable these modes. If you to try running in either mode at your own risk and make sure you have installed the latest drivers.
I’m getting stuttering/framerate issues + artifacting in fullscreen/fullscreen-windowed mode.
Try turning off triple buffering in your driver settings (via the Catalyst control center [for AMD GPUs] or the NVIDIA control panel [for NVIDIA GPUs]. If you continue to experience performance issues, you might want to try the following as well:
- Setting V-Sync to “Use 3D application setting” in the NVIDIA control panel (NVIDIA only)
- Disabling V-sync in the game’s Advanced Video Settings
- Turn off Screen Space Reflections in the game’s Advanced Video Settings
- Set Shadow Resolution to lowest in the game’s Advanced Video Settings
