Hi everyone, we've been paying close attention to those of you trying the game, and have decided to release little update that fixes a couple of bugs and adds some nice quality of life features to the game.
Additionally, we now have a ⁠looking-for-game channel, and an @ LFG ping in our Discord server, you can assign yourself this role via the ⁠Channels & Roles tab. As for the game updates, in short (view image for more in depth explanation)
Locked/ private lobby feature added,
Progression system has additional levels with better rewards,
Menu will now have a provide feedback button,
Fixed a bug with the rocket launcher effects,
Fixed a bug where using the in game text chat prevented users from exiting
Added Terms of Service/ Privacy Policy document at account creation
We also take part in Steam's Third Person Shooter Fest later today, which should bring new eyeballs to the game! I encourage you to leave a review if you like the little project we've made too, it really helps us get discovered! Thank you!

After over four years of work, we're finally ready to share what we've built. Steam has officially approved CrossPlanet, and it will release on August 22nd , along with being featured in Steam's "TPS Fest" on August 25th. This is not a "finished" game in the traditional sense. Th
After over four years of work, we're finally ready to share what we've built. Steam has officially approved CrossPlanet, and it will release on August 22nd, along with being featured in Steam's "TPS Fest" on August 25th.

This is not a "finished" game in the traditional sense. The project became far too big for our tiny team to complete without serious funding or a huge influx of volunteers. But instead of shelving it or letting it disappear, we've decided to release everything we've built, completely free.
No price tag,
No microtransactions,
No shutdown,
Once released, CrossPlanet will stay online and available for anyone to play. What you’ll get is a raw, skill-based multiplayer shooter, built with passion, even if it didn’t reach every goal we set out for. We’ve done everything we can to make sure it can live on, and we’re proud to finally let it out into the world. Thank you all for sticking with us, supporting us, and being part of this journey.

Upon launching the game for the first time, you'll be met with a message about our journey and why we came to this decision, and we hope to see many of you there for a huge sendoff event!
