A content update for Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop has just dropped – what a time to be alive!

Alongside the standard array of bug fixes and accessibility options, you’ll find seven brand-spankin’ new vending machines that will open up some fun and interesting playstyles. The Inflationator, for example, is all about quantity over quality, offering an escalating bonus for every job taken in the run. The Large Loss Nullifier, on the other hand, is all about scoring that one big fuck-up, turning your biggest penalty on the invoice to a positive number. You meant to do that, right? Rigggghhht.
In addition to these are five new Omen upgrades. Some are geared specifically to supporting the use of Vending Machines, others designed to soothe specific pains, like Fatal jobs (go on, have a go at repairing the Reactor, don’t be scared). You’ll also find a new ship type, and a jukebox in the Speakeasy, where you can choose the soundtrack to your work day.

Vending machines

Added 7 new vending machines:
Build-a-Gumball - Get the Gumball you want, no questions asked!
Inflationator - Adds 3% to the invoice for each completed job.
Large Loss Nullifier - Sets the highest breakage value on the invoice to 1. (Disabled on boss ships)
Small Loss Flipper - Flips the smallest loss on the invoice to positive. (Disabled on boss ships)
Faction Cookies - Increases the chance of customers being the selected faction.
Faction Milk - Adds a 20% bonus to jobs who's customer matches the set faction.
Card Radar - Alerts the owner when a nearby ship contains a trading card.
Omen Upgrades

Added 5 new Omen upgrades:
Vending Variety (3 Tiers) - Increase the number of Vending Machine options by 2, 4, 6.
Nap Time - Sleep through first R.E.N.T. Deliveries will arrive when you wake up.
Workshop Coupon (2 Tiers) - The first/two purchase(s) in Logistics Management is discounted by 50%!
Second Wind - Survive one fatal job! Wake up at the end of the day.
Extra Vending Machine Slot - Unlocks a vending machine slot in the Speakeasy.
Other

Music player. Found in the Speakeasy, you can now play any track from the games soundtrack whilst you work!
Added new ship. The Schlepper.
Reduced the Chunky bonus to 80%.
Colour blind friendly mode
Level pull LED has R/G letter indicating is it's Red or Green.
Donut orders no longer affected by lighting. This should help with contrast between colour palette.
Gumballs use an alternate colour palette (Color-Blind Safe by IBM).
Added option to disable skipping dialogue when dialogue has yes/no options.
Bug fixes

Fixed canister preview appearing in Honk Pancake Picker.
Fixed missing invoice item name for missing motors in AI module.
Fixed issue with Short Sighted Achievement not being granted.
Fixed issue with using tool controls & touch controls on Steam Deck.
Fixed cursor lag on Steam Deck when using USB mouse.
Fixed Towing feeing being listed as 125 when it's actually 250.
Fixed issue with VR crash event occasionally adding towing fees to subsequent jobs that day.

Thanks to everyone who's reported issues! With your help, here's what we've done in today's update: Fixed issue with Polaroid socket accepting other items. Fixed issue with VR levels resetting. Lighthouse VR switch can no longer be interacted with prior to a bulb being inserted.

Fixed issue with Polaroid socket accepting other items.
Fixed issue with VR levels resetting.
Lighthouse VR switch can no longer be interacted with prior to a bulb being inserted.
Lighthouse bulb can no longer be removed once the level is fixed.
Fixed VR Warehouse re-rolling selected box when re-entering.
VR player is now reset to spawn when re-entering.
Fixed various instances of screen shake not respecting the option.
Fixed Honk Pancake maker not registering a present Pancake when left in overnight.
Fixed FTL Gem pack not saving correctly.
Fixed FTL Gem incorrect colour on load.
Fixed Money Tree bonus being rewarded after placing and then removing the Money Tree.

A massive thanks to all of you for your support and continued feedback: we're constantly reading and discussing what you guys have to say, and it's proved invaluable in shaping the updates over the past few days and the updates to come.
Of particular importance for many of you will be the changes we've made to the Tomfoolery and Reactor modules; coming across these in your run should now be a far less brutal (and potentially fatal) experience. And to the OGs who endured the launch version of the Reactor, wear your scars with pride.

Oil module is kinder towards very tiny amounts of different fluids that can be discerned.
Increased minimum incorrect fluid oil modules can spawn.
Fixed issue with Magpie Screen occasionally requesting incorrect thing.
FTL Drive should no longer report incorrect magnet when it's not broken.
