Achievement Purge
I've removed some of the most grindy, rng heavy and unclear achievements from the game. Now getting all the Steam achievements should be much more fun! 😊 If someone really loves to grind the game you can still do all this stuff to get 100% in-game progression, but it just no longer affects achievement completion on Steam! ❤️🙌
Deleted Achievements:
Seen It All (Catch every unique fish)
Lost and Found (Unlock All Lost Treasures)
Treasure Hunter (Collect Every Treasure)
100% !!! (Reach 100% Progress and Complete Everything)
Bottle Boy (Collect 100 Messages in Bottles)
Trader (Spend 100 Messages in Bottles)
Professional Fisherman (Catch fish worth over $1000 total in a single run)

I've been working on the BIG BOSS UPDATE for a little while in between making my other game Ogre Chambers 2222. Super excited to bring out NEW CONTENT to the game! 💪💪
I felt like the game had an alright amount of bosses as there always is some variation on which bosses you'd face during runs, but I still felt there's room for tons more, especially when compared to the game Lake of Creatures takes loads of inspiration from, The Binding of Isaac. Which is why this update focuses very tightly on bosses, but there's some other cool new stuff too that improves to overall feel of the game.
Here's what you can expect to see in the content update:
NEW BOSS FIGHTS !! 🥵🥵🥵
Reworked & balanced existing boss fights to make them more fun and intense
New boss fight arenas
Improved art on all bosses
Unique boss intro sounds
Improved sound effects on bosses
More pre-boss choice room variation
There are also other new and improved stuff that is not related to bosses, like some new enemies, improved mechanics, better sound effects, quality of life features, more room layouts & more! 🔥
I'm still working on the update and I'm adding and improving all kinds of stuff that pops in my mind so I'm not 100% sure yet what will be added. Let me know if you have any suggestions on what should be added or improved ❤️❤️❤️ If I don't have time to include them in this update, I'll consider them in future updates! 😊

For over a week I was unable to upload a new version to fix a bug with story events not triggering correctly because of an issue in the game engine's login system. I had to revert the game couple versions back to a state where the story worked properly but it didn't have cool quality of life improvements I added in previous updates.
EVERYTHING IS NOW BACK IN THE GAME! 🔥
These things are back in the game:
Story events and Town Square events now trigger correctly!
Toxic Gas Puddle enhanced visibility
Wiki button inside game
14 new achievements
Fix for the achievements to not stop working after returning to main menu
Some improved sound effects

I found a bug with the Town Square in the current version of the game that came with a previous update. The bug caused the story events to not properly trigger and update. I have fixed the bug, but I cannot upload the update on Steam as I am having very weird problems logging into my account on the game's engine which has caused me not being able to export the build with the fix.
❗ Basically I can't get the updated version out of the game engine at the moment due to an issue on the their login system. 😔
I figured I will just revert back to an older version of the game. It will sadly miss some of the new Quality of Life-features that came with previous updates but I feel like it's better that way than having the entire story not work properly. Everything else than these small new things will work normally and you can continue playing as normal.
BIG SORRY ABOUT THIS :(( Been trying to get it work for OVER A WEEK now but no luck.
Things that are temporarily NOT in the game until I get to upload again:

Improved look on some achievements. Also made them look a bit different based on what type the achievement is! Rarest one's look extra nice!
Fixed a sound effect bug with green slug enemy in Gem Caverns.
Improved dynamite lure sound effect.
Improved laserspider enemy's sound effect as it didn't have enough punchiness.
Small visual change to tentacle!

I made some fixes and improvements!
Improved sound effects on couple places
Improved readability of toxic gas puddles with more obvious looking art and even added a sound effect to indicate danger
Added wiki button inside the game
Fixed achievements so they don't stop working everytime you return to main menu!! (this should've been done a long time ago, but I just today realized why this happens lol)
You guys are the best, your support is SO AMAZING and it really hypes me up super much!! I will keep you posted on new stuff :)
