2.9 is OUT and it comes with our most Vertically Shifted Freeze Tag Map yet
Added: ~ Freeze Tag Map Hex. ~ You can now view a players' ping in the social tab. Bug Fixes: ~ Fixed a bug where a player could spectate and start a game by themselves to which the room would freeze up. ~ Players no longer get a free win or loss if you join an on-going game. ~ R

We hope everyone has enjoyed the new Tag Map - DOUBLE HELIX - which rolled out with update 2.6. This week, we've put in a new patch with quality-of-life updates!
The patch includes the following:

Spatial audio for voice chat, so you can tell what direction players are talking to you from.

A live mic indicator that shows when the game is detecting your voice.

Increased Max Turn speed options in the game settings.

Corrupted Media is excited to announce that PATCH 4 IS LIVE!
This patch is packed with improvements to player comfort and game stability.
Fixes include:

Patched a hole in Freeze Tag map, there will be no more escape.
Fixed issues with grapples sometimes not firing.
Improved player latency, specifically addressing an issue with lag spikes.
Fixed joystick dead zone settings
Fixed issue where game spectators can only talk when team only voice chat is on.
Fixed minor issues in the Tutorial.

New Features

NEW INFECTION MAP
UI more clearly shows when players have earned in-game currency
Added effect to more clearly show where frozen teammates are

Bug Fixes

Players no longer spawn in the middle of the room when connecting
Fixed an issue where Freeze Tag Timer didn't reset between rounds.
Fixed an issue where the game would soft lock if the host leaves between rounds.
Fixed an issue where the Freeze Tag Lobby wall would sometimes come down mid-match.
Fixed an issue where the Player will zip if the controller loses tracking.
Volume settings now persist between rooms and sessions.

Vertical Shift has seen an incredible burst in players filling our servers since our Christmas Launch, and the Corrupted Media team has been hard at work!
Our growing community has been an excellent source of feedback and review. Players have been posting new suggestions every day in our discord, and we’ve been hard at work to incorporate them into the game!
Patch 1 is just a little bit of what we’ve been working on, we’ve focused on updates that will improve player quality of life.

Closed gap in Infection Lobby’s wall
Fixed issue where players could sneak under and into Infection buildings
Lowered volume of Opening SFX
Fixed issue with Freeze Tag Zone Names
Updated “Join Random Room” button to prioritize rooms that are between games
Added “Game in Progress” signs to Multiplayer Game Lobbys
Moved Freeze Tag Scoreboards closer to wall so players can’t get stuck behind it
Fixed holes in Freeze Tag that players could use to escape the map
Added shout for when players end the game
Added “Skip Dialogue” button to NPC dialogue screen
