We have some bad news. Cloud, the new character who came from the future to save the game, has turned out to be a complete idiot and wants to introduce new predatory mechanics into the game. Anyway, here’s the trailer:
Features:
Cloud’s Despicable Roulette™: We have forcibly introduced a roulette mechanic that will speed up the acquisition of Red Coins, which now have a much higher maximum limit (increased from 200 to 999,999). Obviously, it’s great, even though nobody likes it.
A bunch of cosmetics: We’ve added around 50 cosmetic items, including weapons, characters, card backs, and avatars. To make some of this content easier to access and avoid having to rely entirely on random items, we’ve introduced some really expensive options that allow you to get them without going through the Pal Prize.
Changing skins between matches: In order to let you flex the skins you own during matches and justify your gambling addiction, you can now change your character skins between rounds. It’s a minor addition, but it’ll make you feel better after losing everything at the roulette table.
Copy/Paste Decks: You can now copy your deck into a line of text that you can send to your friends, so they don’t have to manually set up your recommendations. They can simply use a button to paste the line of text you sent them.
Bug fixing and balancing: We’ve been fixing things you’ve been asking for for years, things that have been haunting our nightmares, so here’s a list (a pretty long one, in my opinion):
BALANCE LIST:
Titan :
Dmg buff min : 0.4 -> 0.2
Dmg buff max : 0.6 -> 0.3
Heal Potency : 75%
Heartless :
Heal Potency : 50%
Landmine :
Landmine now takes X time to setup to its full potential when placed, if its not fully setup it will instead do Y% of its damage with the rest being the same
Min : It takes 3 seconds to setup
Max : It takes 2.5 seconds to setup
At spawn (minimum)
Min : 40%
Max : 50%
In any case the landmine ends up at its normal amount of damage and effect when the setup is done
Heal potency is the effectiveness of the heal :
If a player heals 100 but currently use heartless, since they have a potency multiplier of 0.5 they only get half of the heal 100*0.5 = 50
Heal Dome :
Has life duration
Min : 30
Max : 35
Frozen Gun :
Min duration : 1s -> 2s
Trash Thief :
Can't be recovered from Profaner anymore
Turtle :
Low health threshold : 20% -> 30% (Or 45 Hps now when max health is 150)
Dice Bomb :
Sticky bomb's version of Dice Bomb now fits with the Sticky bomb's stats
Bomb Belt :
Bomb belt now have its own bombs
Bomb Belt's bomb :
Min & Max range : 6m -> 5m
Min Damage Range : 45,52,60 -> 25,45,60
(Bomb belt's bomb are always level 1 so no need to care about Max Damage)
Bomb :
Min & Max range : 6m -> 5m
Grenade Lover's Bomb :
Min & Max range : 6m -> 5m
Pyromania :
Min Regen : 6 -> 5
Max Regen : 10 -> 8
Min Duration : 8 -> 7
Slow Reload :
Max effect 0.4 -> 0.35
Small Mag :
Max effect 0.4 -> 0.35
Minimum amount of ammo you can be reduced of : 10% -> 30%
Minimum amount of reload speed you can be reduced of : 10% -> 40%
Mimic card :
Mirror card no longer copies Reverse Titan nor Nuke
BUG FIXING:
Landmine now does damage to other things then the player in Life Support's range
Cloud's alt skin now has the character voice lines like the other skins
Dale Not A Cop skin now uses the correct voicelines
Golden Boira's glockchain skin now correctly shows that it is obtained in Pixel Vision DLC
FK-82's fine porcelaine skin now correctly shows that it is obtained in El Pelicano DLC
Dale's Not A Hero skin now correctly shows that it is obtained in gacha prizes
Fixed Subway's easy spots at spawn from no clip
Characters in spawn now got their ukulele showing
Karrotov's fire particles now shows the exact position of the damage collisions
Karrotov's fire no longer pass through the wall, you may still get damaged by it through the wall if it's thin enough
Trap cards on top of screen now correctly updates when multiple copies of the same trap is triggered at the same time
Cloud got perks (Steel Bullets, More Accuracy, Quick Reload) (Can have Health up instead of Steel bullets lvl 3 perk)
High polling rate mice causing heavy stuttering while moving quickly:
Let me stop for a moment here. Since the last update, we found that some players were experiencing pretty severe stuttering when using high polling rate mice.
We’ve invested a lot of time looking into this, and it appears to be related either to Rewired, a widely used input plugin we rely on, or to the way Unity handles mouse input natively. Other developers seem to be struggling with similar issues too, so unfortunately there isn’t an obvious solution yet, especially since the problem can be somewhat inconsistent.
However, we’ve found a middle ground between the previous behavior and the optimal solution, which should significantly improve the situation for affected players. We’ll keep working on it!
As a final note, we would like to remind everyone that roulettes and other random elements that the game may contain, despite being dopamine dispensers, use both visual and cognitive cues that can potentially lead to unhealthy behaviours in real life, even if they are fun.

PS: There have been some criticisms regarding the fact that we announced another game we’ve been working on. We understand that it may be perceived as abandoning Friends vs. Friends, but the reality is more complicated. We don’t get an incredible return from the game that would make this a sustainable investment of time and money. We do what we can with the resources we have, and the most stable way for us to keep going is by funding new projects.
