We appreciate everyone who shared their thoughts about Catch Me! recently - some positive, some negative, but overall insightful 🤔
We've put a lot of effort into the game, but not everything goes as smoothly as we'd always like. While the game may not be everyone's cup of tea (or beverage of choice), we're happy to have made Catch Me! free for a limited time. It allowed many more players to experience what our team has created and to give us input on where to improve.
Having said that, we've seen claims that our developers are sending insulting messages to players who are leaving negative reviews here. We'd like to emphasise that we have a strong code of conduct at ByteRockers' Games, both internally and for our community, and we take this seriously. After investigating further, we found that the person sending these messages is not affiliated with ByteRockers’ Games and there is no evidence of our developers acting in a way that breaks our code of conduct. We appreciate the people who came forward to provide us with information on the situation so we could get to the bottom of it.
Catch My New Price!
Our community’s input is crucial to us. Sharing Catch Me! for free for this limited period is proving to be an insightful experience for us and we’re reading every review that's coming in to see how we can improve the game's experience for you. We know we can’t please everyone, but we also appreciate all feedback and take it to heart. So, we’re making a change.
For context: We've invested many hours of dev and QA work into the game, and - at the time - we believed the quality to be worth 10 EUR. This was a while back now and things change; in the meantime, plenty of fantastic games are coming out at a very decent price. Now that Catch Me! has had an influx of new players, we can see from the reviews that the pricing doesn’t match the expected gameplay experience, and we want to fix that.
After some deliberation, we settled on 1,99 EUR as the new price. We want to honour our developers’ work while taking your feedback into consideration, and we believe that a few bucks for a few hours of multiplayer fun is a good compromise. We hope you see it that way too!
