Hello everyone, Steam Cloud is back online!
This update increases the number of save slots to 24, improves the save file structure, then enhancing the stability of the cloud save feature.
Note:
After updating to version 2.02, when you first launch the new version of the game, old version save files will automatically be moved to the "OldVersionArchives" folder in the save directory for backup. It is also recommended that you manually back up your save files before launching the new version of the game.
How to retrieve your save files:
Press Win+R on your keyboard and type AppData.
Go to \LocalLow\EggHatcher\VolcanoPrincess.

*If you have previously played on multiple devices using the same account, it is recommended to first disable cloud save for backup, and then enable cloud save when launching the game.
*If you wish to play an older version, move the old save files back to the original "VolcanoPrincess" folder.
Previously, since save files were stored in AppData/LocalLow, players who hadn’t logged in for a long time might have triggered Windows 10/11's automatic cleanup function. We sincerely apologize for this!
If you encounter any issues with save file updates or while playing after Steam Cloud has been enabled, we kindly ask that you submit a bug report to help us improve. Thank you very much!

While the English and Japanese translations aren't in excellent shape yet, we will continue to look for ways it could be improved.
