Not much else to say, just a lot of patch notes to unravel.
Go play it now! Just download the latest update and you'll be set! :)
Just some more info:
Please note that I don't actually remember all the bugs that we fixed, we probably fixed a lot more.
(That doesn't stop new ones from appearing though :<)
Thank you for stopping by!

Hey everyone! I hope you are doing well.
It has been almost one month since we announced the All In Expansion/Update. I am here to talk a bit about the release and reveal some more details while we are at it.
(You can read more here)
(Our new characters also want to know about that!)
As discussed in the previous post, we planned two releases:
A brief recap to explain the version differences:
Unstable is a buggy and unstable version of the update, accessible only as a password protected beta for anyone in our Discord.
and Stable is the public version that is planned to be released as a regular update, as soon as it is released it you'll be able to download it just by updating your game.
(What an unstable guy!)
While I did not confirm any solid date, the expected date of December 9th announced in the previous post seems no longer feasible.
The update is very close to finished, it is already fully playable and has all necessary content for release but we still need to sort out some time consuming details, which I am going detail below.
In summary, the main pending elements for the release are:
The most time consuming of those are the new events (which we are tackling right now), as they usually require everything: voice acting, art, SFX, music and coding.
Each event usually takes 1 to 2 full days of development, which is why we had to delay the planned release date a bit.
Skill Tree icons also take some time, Jaqueta and Erik are currently handling those, and I expect to be able to help them at some point after finishing event and orb implementation.
And finally, while Orb implementation and art are not super time consuming (I can usually add multiple in one day) making new Summons and Equipments are usually on the slower side of development, specially Summons, as they need to be rigged and animated.
We are going to release Stable version on or before December 17th.
(Ouch.)
I know that was a brief sneak peek, but I sincerely hope that this new update adds a ton more gameplay and replayability to the game.
And more importantly, that you have fun with it!
See you soon!
- Ian.

Hello everyone! I hope you are doing fantastic!
I come here today to proudly announce the All In Expansion for Gamble Tower!
You can call it the All In Expansion, All In Update or just 1.1.
This is the final name for the update that we were previously naming 1.1.
(What a full Inn!)
We are adding a lot of content, doubling a lot of the existing variety of content currently in the game.
So this includes things such as:
I wanted something gamble themed, we thought about "High Stakes", "Double or Nothing" and some other ones, but in the end I think that "All In" was the proper one.
Being the first and last major update planned for Gamble Tower, I think it is a good name.
This is the last content update planned, but we will still update the game with bugfixes, balancing patches and quality of life features.
Nothing is stopping us from releasing other content updates and expansions in the future, but I think it is important to be clear that there is currently no plans for that.
There will be two releases:
The Unstable version will be a less polished (and realistically, unstable/buggy) version available later this month (November 2023) on a specific password-protected Steam branch.
If you want to help us playtest the update and have early access to it, join our discord.
We'll announce the password that you need to insert on the game's settings on Steam in order to access this version, but only on Discord. (we want to keep the playtest manageable.)
The Stable version is the proper release of the update, it is planned to be available early December.
Anyone who owns Gamble Tower will have access to this expansion just by downloading the latest Steam update when it is available.
If everything goes as planned, expect it to be available around December 9th.
Yes! Let's do it.
Please be aware that content shown here is work in progress!
A big part of this update is that I wanted to really amp-up the difficulty for those players who are seeking a bigger challenge, therefore we decided to add what we call Elite Mode.
Elite Mode is unlocked upon finding the Janitor or reaching the top while having 5 Tower Dangers active. If you already did that, when you start the game with All In Expansion, it will be automatically unlocked.
After being unlocked, Elite Mode is activated if you have a Danger Level of 3 or more. (each Tower Danger active will increase the Danger Level by 1, Elite Tower Dangers increase it by 3.)
In essence, Elite Mode enables Elite Gambles which then enables Elite Enemies and Elite Bosses.
There are several unlockables that you can only unlock by defeating Elite bosses, rewards are much more generous in this mode and you get more XP/GC.
But the main idea is, of course, providing a bigger challenge than ever before.
I think that is it for now! I prefer that you play the game and discover the content by yourself, I also dislike overpromising, so I just announced what we already have developed.
We plan to keep adding variety (specially Orbs, Events, maybe Skills and Traits) until the release happens.
Until then, I hope you look forward into playing our update!
See you next time, and remember to join our discord to play the expansion early!
- Ian

Hello everyone!
Now that September is over, we are finally able to focus on the brand new update for Gamble Tower: 1.1!
As promised, here is a sneak peek of some of the features that are going to be present in this new content patch, please remember that everything you see is still a big W.I.P!
We got a developer page! Please follow us! :)

If you want frequent updates, we have several secondary platforms where we post Gamble Tower content that you may wish to follow or join, based on frequency:
After showing the concept art for the bank NPC for so long, I am glad to announce that he is finally in-game and almost fully implemented! and he is fully 3D! (Because why not?)
Stebanks MacZee shows up both at the Inn and at the Tower after you pay the ludicrous amount of 10.000 gold coins to Inn Master. (you need to be at Gambler Level 5)
He provides different services in the different locations he appears, so we'll showcase them separately.
During expeditions, MacZee has a chance to appear as an intersection NPC on the left side of the Gambler, just like Stebax and Inn Master.
He'll provide you with two different banking services when you talk to him:
If you are overflowing with cash, you can conveniently exchange your Inn's gold coins for Gambling Chips by using the withdrawal service.
This allows you to get up to 500 GC per encounter with MacZee. (It is a 2:1 exchange rate though, so you will pay 1000 coins per 500 GC.)
If you are not feeling that rich or if you have A LOT of chips and are afraid of dying early, you can safely deposit as many GC you want and instantly convert them into Inn Gold Coins for posterior usage.
It is a fair exchange rate of 1:1 in this case, no fees for this service.
You may safely store a limited amount of orbs inside Stebanks, be it to make your pouch lighter or to retrieve them later.
The fee is a bit hefty (100 GC per storage and retrieval) but items persist in between expeditions! So nothing will stop you from storing and retrieving orbs that would otherwise be VERY difficult to get early on or from completely different clans than what you are playing!
MacZee may or may not sell/give some random bank artifacts like Credit Cards and Lottery Tickets.
We are still testing those and seeing if they work well.
I cannot say for sure if they are going to be present in the final version or not, so take this "sneak peek" with a big grain of salt.
At the Inn, MacZee allows you to upgrade its multitude of banking services and customize your loadout!
I am not going to spoil all the upgrades you can acquire from him, but some allow a pretty cool degree of customization, I think. (keep in mind, it is expensive)
You can use the orbs that you stored during expeditions to customize your pets and character loadouts permanently.
The way it works, you use orbs stored on the safe to replace up to a certain amount of orbs (upgradeable) from your character's loadout.
Each orb customized makes the price go up though, so be prepared to open up your wallet.
This allows you to create pretty strong and wild loadouts! Believe me, you are going to need all the help you can find when facing all the new challenges this patch adds.
(little game: find the NPC that wasn't there before)
I only covered some of the Bank features in this post, but the patch is planned to add an array of new things for you to unlock, find, fight and do.
(We didn't even got to show the new artifacts yet...)
I think that for this sneak peek we already have shown a good amount of content, so expect more to be shown on the upcoming weeks.
I sometimes get a biiiit afraid of showing too much as well, because we never know when we have to cut corners :p
(Don't wanna hype anyone up unnecessarily)
Everything I've shown so far is confirmed to be there though. (Except bank artifacts, we'll see.)
Anyway, I hope you liked this sneak peek!
Thank you so much for all your support and see you soon!

Hey everyone! Thank you so much for the amazing support!
This is a follow up from the previous post where I'll tell you everything that we have decided related to the updates.
I mentioned this on our previous post as well, but here it is again:
If you want frequent updates, we have several secondary platforms where we post Gamble Tower content that you may wish to follow or join, based on frequency:
We usually reserve Steam announcements for big stuff, but since the game is now out, I'll try to be a bit more frequent around here!
So feel free to follow us here through our Steam Page as well! (We'll also make a developer page, ...eventually.)
If you don't want to read everything, I won't blame you! Here is a summary of our schedule:
Now, if you want to know the confirmed content we have planned for 1.1:
Probably the most important situation to address is that yes, Gamble Tower is pretty unstable, and I deeply apologize for it.
There is a lot of different reasons, but here is no place for excuses. (I'll be making a video for our YouTube channel explaining why, if you are interested!)
More importantly is: that during this week we are trying to deploy hotfixes almost every single day (yesterday was an exception), and we hope to be able to provide a much more stable experience by the end of the week.
We are doing everything in our power to fix the plethora of bugs and lack of QOL that are popping up, so please, feel free to continue sending any issues that you find through Steam Discussions or our Discord!
It's only through your reports that we become aware of some bugs, and some reports are so helpful that they help us understand what is happening and how to fix it! So don't be shy!
You are helping Gamble Tower become a better game! :)
However! I cannot keep this frequency up for post-launch.
And as such from the next week onwards we'll be deploying 1 to 2 hotfixes per week instead of daily.
(There may be more, but that is the amount that we can promise to have.)
We are not full time devs, so during weekdays I usually only have the early morning and the very late night to do develop, which unfortunately is not enough for deploying a significant amount or quality of fixes that you guys deserve.
Another reason is that some bugs and QOL features NEED time, specially when they involve changing how something works. (refactoring stuff.)
If we rush fixing things, we'll end breaking more stuff than we are fixing, so I hope you understand.
Yes, we made a tier list. Actually... four tier lists.
We still need to meet and plan the nitty'n gritty of everything we plan to add, but we managed to at least confirm most of the core content we wish to have for the 1.1.
disclaimer: tier list subject to change.
Basically, the tier lists for each one of us (Ian, Camila and Jaqueta) is just a tool to express what we can and want to have in the game the most.
There is some content we really wanted to add but it is completely unviable development-wise, reasons usually include: too much development time, having to rebuild core systems from scratch or the infamous "this will certainly break all the other systems".
We'll decide and plan when we are there (well, a little bit before that, I hope).
But for most part, if something doesn't make the cut for 1.1, we'll transfer that to another patch, if feasible.
That is it for now! Hopefully we'll be able to share some more info and update sneak peeks soon!
See you later!
- Ian
