For this patch, our goal was to give you even more modifiers so that you can better tailor the game to your playstyle. Here's what we got this time!
V16 CHANGELOG

Fixed a potential progression blocker in Game_25CastleEgypt
Fixed an issue where certain weapons could vanish from the level after the player's death and respawn
Fixed an issue where ragdolls could cause performance stuttering
Fixed an issue where Modifier Preset names were being incorrectly displayed in certain situations
(Hopefully) improved controller support for non-XInput gamepads
Added new modifiers:

Scarce Ammo (you'll find less ammo pickups in levels)
Max Ammo Multiplier
Stake Damage Multiplier
Slow-mo Consumption Rate
Painkiller Initial Heal Multiplier

Here's a brand new patch for El Paso, Elsewhere and, with it, a brand new patch changelog!
Our core goal with this patch was to fix two major problems: a performance issue on the game's first boss fight and an overall issue with achievements. Let's get to it!
V14 CHANGELOG

Fixed scripting issues in many components. This should improve overall CPU performance in some event-heavy levels.
Fixed an issue in the first boss fight that could cause heavy performance degradation in this level.
Fixed another issue in the first boss fight that could cause the NPC to freeze in place.
Improved how achievement stats from Steam are gathered to (hopefully) fix achievements once and for all.
Fixed a typo in the Main Menu.
Improved UI scaling for 21:9 and 16:10 aspect ratios.
Added a 240hz option to the game's framerate selection in the options menu.
Thank you for your patience and feel free to report any issues you encounter to us through the Steam Discussion boards. The more details in your reports, the faster we'll be able to get things fixed.

We've submitted a hotfix for El Paso, Elsewhere! There are still some more fixes & changes coming up in the next few weeks but we're pushing this update earlier in order to correct a critical issue.
V9 CHANGELOG

The Modifier menu has been moved- it is no longer displayed in the Main Menu. It will now show up once a save slot has been selected.
Added Modifier Presets and three difficulty-based presets: Story, Intended and Challenging. These can be selected when loading a save slot or starting a new game.
Added a Speed Modifier.
Fixed an issue where starting a new game from an empty save slot could cause the game to hang.
Feel free to report any issues to our Steam Discussion Board's Bug Reports section.

V8 CHANGELOG

Added a new joystick acceleration slider in the settings menu.
Added gamepad rumble to some actions in the game. Brr brr!
Saving or killing a hostage will now produce an audio cue.
Active modifiers are now displayed in the save selection screen.
Returning to the main menu no longer resets the Modifiers panel.
Restored the resolution & framerate pickers to the settings screen on the Steam Deck.
The Steam Deck's default system settings have been changed. This will not replace current system settings.
The Steam Deck will now use a new default input template featuring a weapon selection wheel on the right pad.
Adjusted the timing of the Vampire's melee attack.
Fixed an issue where hostages could still be killed moments after being rescued.
(Hopefully) fixed a tricky issue related to the FLASHBACK achievement (special thanks to Raloire, Nedly Dedly, Pig, ??? and SparksV from the Steam Discussion Boards!)

We're pushing a new patch for El Paso, Elsewhere. Here are the changes!
V7 CHANGELOG

Fixed an issue with the Burned Man in Game_XManorEgypt.
Added missing BGM to the Djedefre cutscene.
Added a "Use High Quality Audio" option to the settings menu (On by default).
Checkpoints will no longer save if the player has just died, thus preventing infinite death loops.
Fixed an issue with the FLASHBACK achievement- it should be working again.
Fixed an issue where some of the Main Menu's elements would look wrong in some resolutions.
You can now roll or dive instantly after landing a stake hit on an enemy.
You can no longer carry infinite molotovs. Sorry! The limit's back to 8.
Pausing the game with a gamepad now automatically selects the Resume button.
Fixed an issue where restarting the level right after a reset could break the level.
We've also submitted a Steam Deck Verified build candidate to Steam. If you've got a Steam Deck, keep an eye out for that!

Here's another patch for El Paso, Elsewhere. Let's jump right into it!
V6 CHANGELOG

Fixed occlusion culling & floating interactables in Marathon.
NPC and elevator tweaks to Castles In The Air.
Fixed an issue where certain enemies could cause Boss Health Gauges to show up.
The "Ammo Full" tickers now also display the ammo type.
Fixed an issue where picking up a second grenade launcher would load two rounds in the grenade launcher. No one should have that much power.
Dying should now stop all voicelines and captions.
Angels should no longer get stuck in Castles In The Air.
Removed problematic bride teleport points in Marathon, Sensorium and Mountaintop.
Removed an old placeholder sound from Sunset.
Tweaked some enemies in Confessional.
Fixed some effects in Central Location and Monster Club.
Fixed some colliders in Confessional.
Fixed an issue that would cause level resetting to malfunction, possibly causing the game to halt on the death screen and/or cause certain entities to become invincible.
The game's saves are now handled by Steam's Cloud Save feature! (only save files are uploaded to Steam Cloud- game settings are not! This is intentional.)

We're pushing another patch with more fixes and tweaks for the game. Not a lot of them here but we wanted to push this out ASAP before we started working on more fixes.
V5 CHANGELOG

Fixed an issue where Draculae could turn invincible if the game got reset during her Avoidance period.
Fixed an issue where the camera could freeze in place during boss fights.
Fixed an issue where James could get stuck in his staking pose after resetting.
Adjusted the timing of some events in Ourobouros.
Fixed an issue where Draculae's health bar would not display during her fight & her AI would not work as intended.
We've got more patches coming up so feel free to post any issues or bugs you've had with the game in our Bug Reports section over at Steam's Discussion Board.

We're pushing a new patch for the game with a few more fixes and tweaks. We've skipped version 3 and headed straight to v4.
V4 CHANGELOG

Fixed some interactables in Game_21Castle.
Tweaked the priority of some audio sources including Chapter 2's Horny Hostage.
Tweaked some NPCs in Game_13Motel_Ourobouros.
Fixed an issue where boss battles could break after dying mid-battle.
Toilet moans are louder now.
Tweaked 3Motel_Shotgun to prevent the player from getting stuck.
Prevented backtracking in Game_6Motel_SeatOfPower.
Game_17Castle tweaks (a bit more ammo and tweaks to a specific encounter!)
You can no longer get stuck in the meat ramp in Game_32MeatLocker.
You can no longer trick enemies into getting locked behind Game_32MeatLocker's... sphincter...door.
Fixed a couple of issues with Molotovs.
Puppets should be a bit easier to hit now.
The Strikebreaker has been nerfed: deals a biiiit less damage now.
The Puppetmaster should now actually do something in Game_7Motel_Aperture.
I never thought I'd write the words "sphincter" and "toilet moans" in a patch note but here we are.
It's also worth mentioning that we've added a Bug Reporting section to our Discussion Board! We'll keep an eye out for any nasty issues posted in there.
