We are always hungry for more feedback however – so please, plot your course and navigate to the Steam discussions and our Discord server and let us know what you think of The Pegasus Expedition, and report any bugs or technical issues we might still need to tackle! And if you enjoy the game, please, take a few seconds and leave a recommendation (positive review) here on Steam - it might not seem like much, but these really make a huge difference for a game like ours.
The update fixes the following issues:

Destroy Inoa Quest could be received even if the Inoa has been destroyed.
Biomass Campaign could not start correctly.
In specific circumstances, a storyline could lead to an infinite loop at chapter 5 start.

Thanks to your reports, we have isolated yet another nest of pesky intergalactic bugs. We believe we have exterminated them fully, but one can never be sure - and so, to be on the safe side, we are first rolling out this update as a public beta in a special beta branch, and if it proves stable, we’ll update the game for everyone. That’s why your feedback is even more crucial now – so please, check out the beta branch and storm those Steam discussions and our Discord server with your reports!
To access the beta, head to your Steam Library, right-click The Pegasus Expedition, left-click Properties, left-click Betas, and from the drop-down menu, select the option “beta - Test builds for further patches.” Your game will then update to the pre-final version.
The update fixes the following issues:

Destroy Inoa Quest could be received even if the Inoa has been destroyed.
Biomass Campaign could not start correctly.
In specific circumstances, a storyline could lead to an infinite loop at chapter 5 start.

We’ve got two great pieces of news: The Pegasus Expedition is currently available with a huge 80% discount on Steam, and we’re also releasing our latest patch for everyone to enjoy!
Just a couple of weeks ago, we launched a brand-new patch into the Open Beta for public testing. Since the feedback we got was positive, we are now happy to push the patch to the public for everyone to play!
Besides bug fixes, this patch also introduces a unique option to create your own Language Packs! A guide to doing so can be found at the end of the article, below the Change Log.
Of course, we are always open to feedback, so if you encounter any issues or feel we should change anything in The Pegasus Expedition, hop onto our Discord and share your thoughts with us. And if you want to support the game even further, writing a positive review of it here on Steam is the best way to do that.

As the blistering temperatures of this time of year drive many toward the natural wonders of vacations and trips, we have prepared an alternative that makes it worth looking once more into the cold and relaxing vacuum of space aboard the bridge of the Pegasus Expeditionary Fleet.

Thanks to your reports, we have isolated and fixed a bulky pack of pesky bugs and introduced new features in the new Big Intergalactic Bug Hunt patch! Chief among these features is the support for custom languages – for the xenolinguists among you, or simply those who would like to enjoy the story of Pegasus Expedition in your mother tongue. You will find the full steps to create your very own language pack below, along with the rest of the Change Log.

We are rolling out this update as a beta first in a special beta branch, and if the update proves stable and bug-free, we’ll update the game for everyone. That’s why your feedback is even more crucial than ever – so please, storm those Steam discussions and our Discord server with your reports!

A week ago, we published a brand-new patch called Warning Signs along with obtainable community items. The patch fixed numerous issues but still needed a hotfix, so here we are, serving it to you. Besides other things, the Clear Biomass button should now work as intended, thank you all for noticing and reporting the problem!

Bug Fixes:

Clear Biomass -button was hidden when needed.
Transit Station and Supply Hub build time was filled in the tooltip.
Tech affecting Factory Power Consumption was not initialized right. Now the tech name is showing correctly.
A Derelict room (Xenobiology 2) had a missing localization line.
Double clicking a combat button in 1 vs 1 combat mode leads to double load of the combat.
Fleet arriving late showed Conflict dialog on Combat for a short amount of time.
Post Combat notification about happiness loss had a typo and was shown even if the effect was a lower than rounding error.
Esc -button didn’t fully work as intended.
Human Cultures are listed only once now.
Open conflicts allowed opening a diplomacy dialog. Now it is prevented.
Probability to the friendly quest star system having 3 friendly fleets is now decreased. Not fully preventable.

And since we want to show our gratitude to you, our beloved community, who even now still plays and supports our game, we're also adding plenty of community items to Steam, such as Trading Cards, Profile Backgrounds, Emoticons and Badges. Some of these can be earned naturally by playing the game or traded with other Directors, and some can be bought for Steam points on the Steam market. You can check examples below the article.

Features:

Provides additional info for the first turn to better indicate what the player must do.
Adds a General Health Warning at the start of the game. The text is in English or Russian for now.
Camera rotation will be saved. The default value will be used for the first launch.
Bug Fixes:

Adds a construction power symbol in a side value in the star tooltip.
Adds a construction power symbol and amount in the unit tooltip before construction and during construction.
Fixes units construction where units cost more than 1 construction power to manufacture(Tier 2 and 3) in the case where it takes more than one turn to build all of them. Construction was ticking all units in the sequence as long as construction power lasted and visual shows how many turns it takes if the construction was prioritized.
Adds a control logic to future-proof some story changes.
Fixes a story encounter where a faction tries to spawn in the area of the defeated faction.
Fixes a problem where the presence of a Governor (Occupier) didn't prevent rebellions.

We do not intend to leave anyone behind in the Pegasus Galaxy, and so once again, based on the feedback you've shared with us on our Discord server and in the Steam Discussions, we have prepared a rather significant update, which is live now!
This patch brings big changes to the Happiness mechanic, which will make it both more impactful, and easier to manage; but there are many more new and changed features, as well as bugfixes - check out the full change log below. We hope that you like the update; we will do our best to keep fixing any further issues you report.
In order to be able to do that though, we have a favor to ask: If you enjoy the game, leave it a positive review here on Steam, or, if you've marked it as "not recommended" in the past and your reasons have since been fixed by our updates, please consider changing your review. Of course, negative reviews are absolutely a legitimate way of voicing your criticism, but they don't allow for the follow-up discussion and clarification that we may need to actually improve the game; not to mention, they hurt the sales and visibility of the game on Steam. That is why we would like to ask you to not take them lightly.

New/Updated Features:

Switching from Global Happiness to Local Happiness model.
Added a new happiness heat map to show on the grand map.
Making Happiness changes more visible to the player.
Making sources of Extra Production more visible to the player.
Highlighting a selected item on Overview.
Hiding Station Construction View when Planetary Construction View is open.
Adding Pegasus Biomaterial Study and Shipboard Laboratories production to the science tooltip to be more visible to the player.
A campaign starting video has been slowed by 33% to make its texts easier to read.
Colony Slots are marked as III -sign.
Adding unit construction enablers and construction power to Tier 2 and Tier 3 structures.
Adding unit construction power requirements by their tier.
Speeding up AI turns by optimizing resource usage.
Random events Income that scales with player resources has a randomized minimum amount.
Tech tree focuses on the most prioritized tech when opened.
The most prioritized tech is visible on the top bar.
Bug Fixes:

Random loot from combat cannot have a 0 amount of one of the resources anymore.
Memory requirements for loading a game where a player owns a large portion of the galaxy are now lower.
Gifting systems while repairing fleets used to get those fleets stuck - not anymore.
Nanobots tech used to refer to wrong structures; now they do to the correct ones.
The Production Management Bureau - its effect did not reduce costs of the units, it now does correctly.
A Upgrade - button of a unit could be visible, but the new unit could not be constructed. Now the button is only visible when the construction is possible.
Advanced Greenhouses - the tech had no effect on outposts due to a bug, it now correctly affects outposts as well.
A tooltip was referring to the "Tab" key, while it’s actually the "Q" key - the tooltip has been fixed.
Alert level of the factions was not stored properly, it is now.
Derelict Quests could prevent the game from continuing - this potentially gamebreaking bug is now fixed.
The displayed number of Defensive Satellites did not always show the correct amount. It does now.
The Admiral traits tooltip was targeted to only the default location, it will now always lead you to the correct one.
Diplomacy AI is less generous with while production is inline with the banked resources.
Auto Repair is switched off when a system has Extra Hazardous trait - like a virus infection.
Auto Aggressive - factions were not displayed when they declare a war, now they are always shown correctly.

We have recently eliminated quite a few bugs, but in our enthusiasm, it seems we have missed a few of their pesky relatives crawling back in. So today, we have published a new hotfix that deals with those unpleasant newcomers, but also other problems you have brought to our attention. And what's more - it even noticeably improves the construction AI! Check the full changelog below for all details.

The construction AI (Both AI enemies and players autobuild) has been reworked to be much more intelligent and will now consistently advance colonies towards endgame state taking into account needs and eventually producing tier 3 units and structures.
Fixed issue that could cause a player to be unable to enter systems belonging to the Anabah Empire.
Fixed issue where player could softlock the game if text skip was used with very high frequency.
Fixed issue where the campaign name could be displayed incorrectly.

The Pegasus Expedition has been out for a while now, and thanks to your feedback, we have been able to identify and fix multiple bugs and prepare some quality of life improvements too! We really appreciate it, so please, don't stop - keep reporting all the problems you find either here on Steam or share them on our Discord server.
As it's already been two weeks since we launched out of Early Access, we would love to know how you're enjoying the game so far! Let us know what choices you've made during the story, what you think about the different scenarios, and if any enemy fleets or the Biomass are giving you any trouble!
