MAJOR RELEASE UPDATE - Build 1.0.1.0.124.205 Hello everyone and a big thank you to our amazing community for the continued support, feedback, and passion you bring to TrackDayR. This update introduces a mix of new systems, long-requested features, and ongoing improvements across

We’ve introduced a new Light System aimed at improving both atmosphere and visual consistency across TrackDayR. Lighting now feels more natural, helping tracks look better while also improving depth and readability during rides.
Beyond visuals, this is an important foundation for future environments and ongoing visual improvements as the game continues to grow.

AI Races are now available in a first beta version, introducing a new way to compete in TrackDayR beyond free riding. Players can now race against computer-controlled riders across multiple disciplines, opening new opportunities for training, competition, and progression.
Alongside this, we’ve introduced a new Championship system that lets players create their own championship or choose from prebuilt ones. One championship can be active at a time, giving each run its own identity and progression while keeping the experience focused and easy to manage.
This is an early foundation for the feature, and community feedback will play a key role in its evolution. AI behavior, race balance, and championship structure will continue to be refined over time. Our goal is not simply to add opponents on track, but to begin building a deeper racing experience that can grow alongside the rest of TrackDayR.

A new Player Statistics system is now available, giving players a much clearer overview of their activity and progress across TrackDayR. You can now monitor track sessions, performance data, riding milestones, and other key stats in one dedicated place, making it easier to understand how your experience evolves over time.
Beyond simply displaying numbers, this system is designed to add more depth and long-term engagement to the game. Whether you enjoy tracking improvement, comparing your riding habits, or simply seeing how much time you’ve spent across different disciplines, Player Statistics offers a new layer of progression outside the track itself.
This is also a foundation we plan to build on over time, with room for expansion as new systems are introduced. Our goal is to give players better tools to follow their journey in TrackDayR, while adding more identity and persistence to the overall experience.

We’ve continued refining TrackDayR’s physics with major work focused on terrain interaction, steering, and overall bike behavior. One of the biggest changes in this update is how tyres now read and react to different surface types. Soft and sandy terrain, compact dirt, and asphalt can now produce different responses, helping create more distinct riding behavior depending on where and how you ride.
This work is aimed at giving surfaces more identity, so terrain is not just visual, but something that actively influences grip, control, and bike feel. Alongside this, we’ve spent significant time refining steering behavior and the relationship between steering input and lean management, improving consistency and rider control, especially in cornering.
Together, these changes push the riding model another step forward, making the interaction between rider, bike, and terrain feel more dynamic, believable, and rewarding across different disciplines.

Building on the new terrain interaction work, we’ve also reworked tyre temperature and wear management, introducing tyre compounds as part of a broader evolution of the riding model. Different compounds now influence grip, durability, and performance, while interacting with surface conditions in more meaningful ways.
Because tyres now respond alongside different terrain types, this system is not only about setup choices, but also about how the bike behaves as surfaces change. Soft and sandy terrain, compact dirt, and asphalt can all contribute differently to tyre response, helping create a deeper connection between terrain, grip, and rider input.
This adds a new strategic layer to both riding and racing, especially for players who want more control over bike behavior and performance decisions. Together with the terrain and steering improvements, this work pushes the simulation another step forward, making the relationship between tyres, surfaces, and rider control feel more dynamic and believable.

We’ve added a new set of Steam Achievements built around the new AI Races and Championship systems, introducing additional goals tied directly to competition and progression. Wins, podium finishes, race milestones, comeback moments, clean races, and championship objectives can now unlock achievements, giving players more reasons to engage with these new systems.
Rather than acting as simple collectibles, these achievements are designed to reflect meaningful milestones in your racing journey. Some reward consistency, others challenge performance or strategy, while others encourage players to fully explore the new Championship feature.
For completionists, this adds a fresh layer of goals to pursue, while for newer players it also helps highlight different ways to approach the new AI racing content. Together with Player Statistics and Championships, these achievements strengthen the sense of progression, persistence, and identity across the broader TrackDayR experience.

MAJOR RELEASE UPDATE - Build 1.0.1.0.122.068 This update represents another important step forward in the ongoing development of TrackDayR. Over the past weeks, our focus has been on refining core gameplay systems, improving physics, and enhancing usability across the experience.

We’ve also added a brand new fantasy MX track concept, designed to bring something truly different to the motocross experience. Expect a creative layout built around big jumps and high-impact sections where timing and commitment matter.
To make it even more special, the area also includes Jet Ski spawn points, letting you jump in and ride instantly. You can even launch massive jumps crossing the track line from water to land, creating truly spectacular moments, perfect for stunning photos and insane clips.

Scarlet Ridge MX is the second MX track coming from our collaboration with FEULA TRACKS, designed to deliver a deeply technical motocross experience. The layout focuses on precision and control, featuring well-defined ruts, constant elevation changes, and a riding rhythm that rewards commitment and clean execution.
The track unfolds through continuous ups and downs, pushing riders to carefully manage throttle, suspension, and bike balance throughout the lap. A large signature jump defines the character of the circuit, standing out both visually and in terms of challenge, and rewarding riders who approach it with confidence and proper timing.
Scarlet Ridge MX is aimed at riders who enjoy technical tracks where line choice and consistency make the difference, offering a distinct challenge compared to more flow-oriented MX layouts.

We’ve also introduced a brand new Track Selection Menu, replacing the old simple list with a more visual and structured browsing experience.
Tracks are now presented through a grid-based layout with large previews, making it easier to explore available content and instantly recognize layouts and environments.
The new menu includes category filters by discipline, allowing you to quickly narrow down your selection and find exactly the type of track you’re looking for. This is a first step toward improving usability as the number of tracks in TrackDayR continues to grow.

We’ve continued refining TrackDayR’s physics, with major improvements both in the air and on the ground, focusing on realism, stability, and rider feedback. Airborne physics now rely on a frontal-based air drag calculation, resulting in more predictable behavior during jumps and cleaner mid-air control. Roll alignment has been smoothed to feel less reactive, while pitch behavior when hitting the engine limiter now better reflects real inertia.
On the ground, we’ve improved visual steering to better match physical steering, fixed several long-standing issues, and refined cornering behavior for cleaner, more stable turns. Stoppies are now more controllable, ground effects scale more accurately with speed to improve front-end lightness and turn stability, and suspension behavior at standstill has been corrected. We’ve also introduced new physics elements such as rear-wheel gyroscopic effects and improved angular momentum conservation, further enhancing overall bike balance and feel.
As always, thank you for your continued support and feedback. TrackDayR keeps evolving step by step, and we’re excited to keep building, refining, and riding together with this community. See you on track.

With this patch, we have decided to temporarily disable the Traffic System on the TDR Island map.
Based on our tests, we realized that the system still needs further optimization and that, in its current state, it can negatively affect the overall gameplay experience, especially in terms of performance and traffic behavior. Given the very high number of players using it, we prefer to take a step back now rather than keep a feature active that does not meet our quality standards.
We are therefore evaluating moving the Traffic System to a dedicated map, which would give us much more freedom to develop, optimize, and test it properly, without the constraints of the main open-world environment.
We would like to sincerely thank everyone for the massive amount of testing. We honestly did not expect such a high level of participation in such a short time, and it has been extremely valuable in identifying limitations, issues, and the true potential of the system.
The Traffic System will return in a more solid and better-integrated form. In the meantime, we will continue working on the core of TrackDayR, always guided by your feedback.
Thank you for your support and patience 💛 MadCow Team

MAJOR RELEASE UPDATE - Build 1.0.1.0.121.040 This update continues the ongoing development of TrackDayR, focusing on strengthening core systems while gradually expanding gameplay features. A large part of this work has been dedicated to infrastructure, performance, and usability,

A new global Ranking System is now available. Time Attacks, online races, and tournaments award ranking points that contribute to a shared global leaderboard, accessible from the main menu. This system connects multiple activities under a single progression path, encouraging consistency and long-term competition across the entire TrackDayR experience.
Traffic has been introduced in its first early version and represents an important step toward a more alive world. In Bike Journey, traffic is fully synchronized for all players and includes working traffic lights. Vehicles are driven by proximity-based logic: they slow down or stop when obstacles are detected and will honk if blocked. Developing this system also allowed us to perform extensive optimization work, resulting in noticeably smoother overall performance.
We’ve introduced improvements to how the rider physically reacts to the bike during movement. The rider now responds more naturally to acceleration, braking, and direction changes, improving visual coherence and overall riding feel. This work helps strengthen the connection between bike dynamics and rider behavior, making motion and transitions feel more consistent and believable.
We introduced a redesigned clutch model that reacts in a more natural and realistic way. Engagement, slip behaviour and recovery have all been improved to deliver a smoother and more authentic riding feel.
The Radial Menu has been refined to better adapt to different play styles and input devices. Page switching via LB and RB has been added to improve navigation speed, especially when using a controller. This change reduces visual clutter while allowing access to a wider range of actions directly during gameplay.
Motoball is now available both on the TDR Island map and in a dedicated arena within Bike Journey. While the island version blends naturally into the open world, we created a separate arena for players looking for faster, more focused matches. The arena features full goal functionality, with the ball resetting correctly after goals or when leaving the play area. Players can grab and hold the ball using a dedicated grab mechanic, and perform a directional shot using a dedicated action button. We’re actively looking for player feedback to further expand and refine this mode with new features.
We dedicated substantial effort to improving stability, performance and consistency across physics, UI, loading and open-world behaviour. TrackDayR now runs smoother and more reliably across all configurations.
A new version of the dedicated server console is now available.

This Major Update marks a significant step toward the living, evolving racing world we want TrackDayR to become. Thank you for your support, your testing, and your constant feedback.

It brings months of work, testing, and feedback from the community together into one of the most complete versions of TrackDayR so far.
Our goal was to take everything that defines TrackDayR realism, freedom, and community and push it one step further.
From the first laps, you’ll notice how different it feels. Every part of the game has been refined to deliver a smoother and more immersive experience, while keeping the authentic spirit that makes TrackDayR unique.
This update is not just about adding content. It’s about evolving the foundation of the game, improving what’s already there, and setting the stage for what’s coming next.
You’ll find new ways to ride, new places to explore, and new sensations to master.
Each feature, each fix, and each tuning pass has been made with one goal in mind: making every moment on two wheels feel real.
From all of us at MadCow, thank you for your patience, your passion, and your continued support.
This one is for you, the riders, the modders, and the dreamers who keep TrackDayR alive every day.
As previously announced, our collaboration with Feula Tracks continues.
This update includes the first circuit developed together, adding a new level of flow and realism to the MX experience.
More tracks from this partnership will arrive in future updates, expanding the variety and depth of TrackDayR’s racing content across all disciplines.
Under the hood, this update brings a deep rework of the bike physics system.
Mass simulation and terrain interaction have been completely revisited to achieve more consistent behavior on every surface.
The physics core now processes each wheel’s contact patch in real time, calculating forces and grip transitions directly from the terrain’s physical geometry rather than simplified collision layers.
This means more accurate reactions when riding over ruts, edges, or slope transitions, and a better interpretation of berms and off-camber surfaces.
You’ll feel more natural feedback from bumps, greater precision when managing slides, and a clearer sense of weight transfer when transitioning between grip and loss of traction.
In short, the physics engine now reacts closer to how a real motorcycle would: subtle, dynamic, and alive.
This update introduces a completely new way to interact with the game: the Radial Menu.
Press Y to open it, move the left stick to select a function, and release Y to confirm your choice.
We decided to implement a radial system because it’s one of the most efficient and intuitive interface solutions used in modern racing and simulation titles.
Unlike traditional button combinations, it allows players to access multiple contextual actions without removing their focus from the ride.
The menu dynamically adapts to the available functions, ensuring that every option is always one quick gesture away.
Whether you’re adjusting assists, toggling a feature, or performing an in-game action, everything can now be done fluidly and without breaking immersion.
This new system not only simplifies control mapping but also paves the way for future customization and new quick-access features planned in upcoming updates.
With this update we’re opening the doors to something completely new for TrackDayR: BikeJourney.
It’s an experimental mode, still in beta, born from our wish to explore what happens when the simulation we’ve built is set free in an open world.
Over the past months we’ve been working on a vast island surrounded by the sea a fully separate environment designed to evolve step by step, season after season.
Each part of the island is handcrafted to offer new reasons to ride, explore, and experiment beyond the boundaries of traditional circuits.
Season 1 introduces the very first area of this world: a small, living portion that already hides its own stories and secrets.
Future updates will expand it piece by piece, adding new regions, activities, and challenges as the project grows.
On the island you can already:
Discover hidden vehicles and secret locations inspired by iconic movies and series
Find graffiti scattered around the environment
Refuel your bike and wash it when it gets dirty
Engage in police chases if you feel like testing your escape skills
BikeJourney is more than a mode it’s a long-term experiment in freedom and exploration.
How it will evolve depends on you and on the feedback we’ll gather from this first beta stage.
It’s the beginning of a new adventure inside TrackDayR, and we can’t wait to build it together with the community.
Season 2 will bring new areas, surprises, and a few secrets waiting to be discovered. Stay tuned.
Every update we release is built together with you the players, the testers, the modders, and everyone who keeps pushing the project forward. We’ll keep listening, improving, and expanding the world of TrackDayR step by step. Stay close, keep sharing your thoughts, and let’s keep building the ultimate riding experience together.

We are pleased to announce the beginning of a new collaboration with Feula Tracks, one of the most recognized creators in the MX track-modding scene.
The first result of this collaboration will be Oak Ridge, which will be integrated directly inside TrackDayR in the next major update.
This initiative is not a single episode. Oak Ridge marks the start of a broader path that will bring curated, creator-made MX content natively into the game over time.
We also have additional work in progress — not yet shown — and we are confident that the MX community will appreciate both the feeling of the upcoming update and the direction this collaboration opens.
Stay tuned — this is only the beginning.
