Update 15th April '23 - Bug fixes!

Hi - in this latest update I've attempted to better detect and handle running on PC's with 8gb and less.

Previously the game could use ~2gb of memory when running. Now it's around ~500mb when on a PC with 8gb or less, a 4x saving. This also should improve the frame rate.
A log I received from a player experiencing the 'black screen' issue indicated it could be related to running very low on available memory. Hopefully this update will fix this.

The hope is that this will help players who experienced the black screen issue mentioned in the forums. I've unfortunately never been able to repro. this myself (my laptop has 16gb), so I can't be 100% sure -however if you are and you have, please do share your log and I'll see what I can do. (more info on how in the forums).

Hope you all had a great Holiday. This update has some minor tweaks: Detection of vJoy to fix odd menu bug. You'll need to use mouse/keyboard in menus, but vJoy should continue to work in-game. Added a hard limit to how far away Scouts can be (speculatively to see if this helps a

This update has some minor tweaks:

Detection of vJoy to fix odd menu bug. You'll need to use mouse/keyboard in menus, but vJoy should continue to work in-game.
Added a hard limit to how far away Scouts can be (speculatively to see if this helps anyone who is having them spawn really far away - they should all really be reasonably close).
Debug logging added to try to identify Scout spawning bug.
Debug logging added to try to isolate reason for any instances of black screen on going into game.
Reduced the default mouse sensitivity setting, so it's not quite so twitchy (you can change it back in the menu's and it won't effect a current install, only new installs).
For the logging. if you do experience either of the above issues, you can find the log: C:\Windows\\AppData\LocalLow\MadeOfDinosaurs\Starfighter Renegade\Player.log
(you may need to type 'AppData' path in manually, it's usually a hidden folder, but it is there).
