Here's our first patch for In My Shadow that looks to improve your experience with the shadows.
Firstly, thank you for purchasing and playing In My Shadow. I am so happy to see that people have liked the shadow puzzles and have enjoyed playing the game. I have been listening to all the feedback about all the common issues/complaints about the game and can assure you that the game will be constantly improving and updating from now on. Thank you for sharing your reviews! :)
Now the patch , these are the major fixes that have been done in this patch along with a few minor fixes that does not affect the experience -

Game framerate set according to the user's screen and hence it won't take up a lot of GPU to run anymore.
A lot of collision hitboxes refined along with more precise platforming in the 4th room, both leading to a much better platforming experience.
Game progress/save system- more dynamic and you can play a new game without losing your progress.
Misc. UI improvements
Player animation improvements
I hope you will be able to notice the difference. If you face any issues, please feel free to share them on either the community hub (Feedback and bugs Discussion) or join the Discord where we do much more than just fix bugs :)

Not only that, you can also find it featured by Steam in the official page for the festival here.
There are a few important things about the Demo that I'd like to mention -

This is the latest build and you might find it different from the footage that you've seen before (because it is much better! ;) )
The Demo will have the first 12 levels of the 1st room out of the 4 rooms in Bella's house.
The Demo is free to download and you can find it on the main game's page itself.
There is an official Discord server for the game. Feel free to join there and share your feedback about the game. Honest criticism will be more than appreciated :)

After being requested a few times, a few days of brainstorming and effort , We are glad to announce that we have a dedicated Discord Server for In My Shadow.
However, I have tried to make this server very useful for not only me to engage with the community but also for the community to learn from my experience and journey of finishing and releasing In My Shadow. Hence, apart from the usual Discord Server stuff, you can expect these -

Share ideas for puzzles, mechanics, controls etc.
Give feedback to WIPs and existing mechanics
Engage & learn together as I share my journey about indiedev, bizdev, unity etc.
Ask the team about anything (maybe not)
