As for Masked Vale, I would like to remake it as well after I remake Apostasy.

Enemies now drop different recovery items as well as coins and collectible items that improve stats.

Enemies have their own drop lists, weak enemies generally drop coins and sometimes drop herbs, more difficult enemies can drop dragon eggs and some rare items on occassion!
Megumi, the Elven Queen.
She is unlocked upon collecting 250 coins in a single life! This will require you to hold onto coins instead of spending them in upgrade vendors. This will be much easier now that every enemy generally drops coins now. This achievement activates after you die having over 250 coins.
Megumi has a few interesting mechanics:
-Enemies struck with heavier claw attacks and Arcane Magic inflict Decay, which deals 25 damage every 1.5 seconds and reduces their armor against your attacks by a small amount, increasing your damage from direct attacks.
-Megumi's kicks also inflict Daze, the same as Oni, but her perks cannot scale her Daze effectiveness.
-Claw attacks consume small amounts of mana and heal Megumi for a small amount, giving her chip healing on all of her attacks.
-Megumi also has a very aggressive Arcane Parry ability that can be used to stun and control foes, making her a heavy skill-based tank.
Fei:
-Max Mana increased from 50 to 55
-Armor increased from 4 to 5
Fumiko:
-Max Health increased from 75 to 85
Sol:
-Max Health increased from 135 to 145
Oni:
-Reduced fall speed to allow for more air combos
-Increased the hitbox of the double jump passive attack to more consistently hit foes
Spira:
-Shadow Landing has increased Y force and slightly increased Stagger Magnitude.

CHANGES:
-Reduce the health of beginner enemies so players can get used to the game early on before it gets very hard. Some enemies aren't affected as much as others, mostly the basic ninja enemies are much weaker, default masked monks are also much weaker.
-Samurai Girl now blocks longer during her block attack then has an additional pre-attack frame, allowing for more consistent counterplay. Her damage reduction during block was decreased from 90% to 75%, so hitting her while she is blocking is slightly more effective.

Spectral Stab still deals more damage over time, and the same damage initially. Spirit Stomp has been buffed to encourage Fei players to dive into enemies and burst them down when it makes sense to.
-Fumiko's Neutral Secondary Attack, Retreat, now spawns a thrown kunai that deals a small amount of armor ignoring damage and bleeds foes for 3 ticks.
-1.1 Added chain reaction AoE damage from water attacks, Sol has very far reach without projectile attacks, and he has high armor and health, he will not be getting a projectile currently (Every one of his attacks is more or less a ranged attack).
-The third kick of Rapid Kicks produces a wave that extends the range of the attack, dealing 45 damage.
-Binding Chains, Skill 1, now creates a short ranged shadow wave that deals high damage.
-Every level now has a timer that changes colors to help you keep track of how long you have been on a level. This is useful for gauging how long you have to wait on "Survive!" levels and will be used in the future to determine random events.
-Boss fights now have a health bar.
-Increased the hitbox accuracy of every single enemy so attacks are more precise, allowing for more exact combos and gauging distance better.
-The character menu, default: Tab/ Back Button Xbox, now pauses gameplay.
Overall these changes add new projectiles and some polish.
The timer is the first step towards increasing randomness as it will be useful later on in future updates.

Fumiko is now much faster and can deal a little more damage, but is less durable.
She falls faster to further add to the overall speed of her kit.
-Chill base damage increased from 3 to 4
-Primary/Secondary Attack damage increased 1-10 damage on all attacks
-Healing Waters now immediately heals for 6 health on use
-Geyser damage increased by 10, chill lasts 2 more ticks longer
-Deluge Slash damage increased by 35
-Watery attacks now deal 15 armor ignoring damage that triggers per enemy hit, allowing
Sol to stack enemies and burst them down with mana based attacks.
Sol was a little underpowered and has been brought up a little. His Skills 1 and 2 have been buffed and pushed in different directions, one is great for chilling and controlling, the other is great for burst damage and some control.His heal cannot be stacked so it now heals for a little bit up front and heals for 24 over time.
-Oni can now double jump, and falls slightly slower
-Oni's double jump creates a small shockwave that does a small amount of damage
to foes and lifts them up slightly.
This is one of the more exciting changes, it adds new mechanical functionality to Oni, allowing for Air combos and makes her floaty. The main motivation behind this was to push Oni further away from Sol, the other heavy character, making her more position and damage oriented, while Sol is more of a grounded bruiser. It also allows for combos off of double jump and faster kicks.

-Bind base damage increase from 7 to 11
-Spiked Chains increase damage from 3 per rank to 5
-Shadow Fall - Spira now creates a shadowy ground attack when landing, regardless of
how she got in the air, that deals a small amount of armor ignoring damage, 15 damage,
scales with perk 5. There is a 1.25 second delay before a new Shadow Fall Damage
object can spawn
Spira is in a good spot at the moment, this buff is to encourage the use of her DoT focused perks. Her burst damage perks remain very strong. I also added this new shadow fall ability that triggers off of landing to encourage combos and open up new methods of dealing extra damage. Reaping was also very overpowered, so it now comes at a higher health cost to invest in.
