Welcome back racers! We are thrilled to announce that a new update for RiMS Racing is now available to download on your Steam client! This 1.5 version of the game is adding compatibility updates to more controllers, UI optimization for ultra-wide resolutions, bug fixes and more!

We are thrilled to announce that a new update for RiMS Racing is now available to download on your Steam client! This 1.5 version of the game is adding compatibility updates to more controllers, UI optimization for ultra-wide resolutions, bug fixes and more!
Please read the changelogs below for more details about the different fixes implemented in this update.
We have fixed a general issue impacting some controllers, here's a list of the controllers that are confirmed to work:
Note: If after the patch you are still experiencing problems, specifically using the NaconGC100 or the Logitech F710 pad, please use the “Enable Steam Input” option available on RiMS Racing > right click > Properties > Controller tab or setting the switch on the pad to “X”.
It could also happen that some of you might experience issues with the official Xbox Series X controller using Bluetooth due to how the peripheral is connected to Win10 and other factors. In this case, please disconnect all other peripherals and Enable Steam Input as explained above.
If you still experience issues with your controller, please provide a video or a detailed explanation and the DxDiag file in order for our development team to investigate it.
Please consider that with this patch the official Xbox controllers impulse trigger vibration (only the one concerning the triggers) will be turned off as a consequence.

For the last month we've been having intermittent issues with Nvidia Drivers. We've been working directly with Nvidia, and released a manual hot fix for the problem.
We are happy to announce that with the most recent 'game ready' driver - released 16/11/2021 - automatically includes this fix. So we'd like to encourage you all to update your Nvidia drivers and jump back into the game.
We'd like to take a moment to thank members of the community who alerted us to this issue.
The timing of this issue fell right into a pre-arranged demo period - resulting and a wave of negative reviews on Steam. We're dedicated to answering these complaints, and hope the actions taken with Nvidia will restore some faith. AND we're working with our publishing team to arrange another free demo period for all those that missed out.

- "Hide" function added in order to improved Inventory/Shop readability
- AI performances optimizations
- Improved icon readability in the Motorbike Mechanics section
- Improved HUD minimap colours
- Improved discount manager perk efficiency
- Autosaves logic has been reorganized in order to prevent save corruption issues
- R&D Management objectives are now reset correctly after a Career restart
- Fixed icon on Private Testing leaderboards
- Audio memory usage optimizations
- Fixed "The Star" description and unlock logic
- Custom joypad presets are now working as intended after booting the game
- Fixed a crash that occurred accepting an invite during an Online Challenge
- Fixed a crash that occurred accepting an invite during Career tutorial bike selection
- Minor graphical fixes on Million Dollar Highway track
- Fixed a text issue on the Anti-Wheelie explanation
- Fixed a specific crash occurring in the R&D Management area
- Custom joypad button configurations are now saved as expected
- Custom exhausts sound are now played as expected in the showroom area
- Several HUD and cockpits graphical fixes

- Tracks: improvements and polishing on lighting, evolving track, tarmac, kerbs, terrain, crowd and sponsors.
- Bikes: multiple fixes and polishing updates on components, bikes, bikes cockpit and liveries.
- Raised the quality of Screen Space Reflection.
- Updated map icons colours for better readability on: Player, AI, Ghost Player, Ghost downloaded from Online Leaderboard
- Tuning fix for condition % colour of components consumption.
- Control bar updates: sound fixes and new actions.
- Multiple fixes on DLC content and behaviour.

Today we are releasing a small hotfix for RiMS Racing - highlighting some of the key issues brought up by the community. Thanks for taking the time to respond to us, we need great feedback like this to help us keep improving the game for you!
This update is around 500mb and addresses the following things:
- Fixed an issue that caused to load the wrong keybinds at game startup
- Fixed an issue that allowed to bind inputs from different sources to the same device;
- Fixed an issue that showed always the default keybind setup instead of the current active one when opening control settings;
- Using a Switch Pro Controller does not causes the game to crash anymore.
In order to use different controllers at the same time, each controller must be configured separately in its own controls settings window (to open the controller control settings window, confirm the selection using the controller you want to configure).
