It’s been a crazy start to 2023 for us here at INTERIOR/NIGHT - so we thought we’d stop by and tell you all about it!

Firstly, we wanted to start off with a big THANK YOU to all of you who spent time with As Dusk Falls, and not only played but also shared its captivating story with your loved ones, friends, and communities. Your support means the world to us, and we thank you for taking the time to share your gaming experiences by leaving a review on Steam. We’ve read each and every one of the 1600+ reviews - so thank you!

For game development studios, the beginning of the year usually signifies the onset of Awards season; a time to recognise and celebrate the best in games - and what an exciting and humbling few months it’s been for us!

2023 started with a very exciting win at the Indie Pearls Awards, where As Dusk Falls received the Social Impact award - a win that set the tone for a remarkable few months that followed!

We were also proud to receive a nomination for Social Impact at GDC Awards, which saw the team touching down in vibrant San Francisco! We didn’t win but the experience was nothing short of unforgettable. We had the pleasure of connecting with friends old and new and excitingly received our The Spawnies statuette in person from our dear friend Kahleef Adams.

Our awards shelf is looking pretty great - as we also received our The Games Awards statuette in the flesh. Displaying alongside our Indie Pearls and the cherished Spawnie, we couldn’t help but capture the moment on TikTok - which you totally should check out and make sure you join the fun!

Just when we thought the year couldn’t get any better, we received news that positively floored us: As Dusk Falls had been nominated for a BAFTA Games award! We had a brilliant time showcasing As Dusk Falls alongside the rest of the brilliant nominees' cohort - topped off with a surprise visit by As Dusk Falls’ Shannon Liz Perry.

The BAFTA ceremony evening was truly unforgettable - a true celebration of talent and creativity! It was an honour to be nominated alongside an exceptional selection of winners and nominees! And if you’re curious how the evening went, we’ve got you > INTERIOR/NIGHT at BAFTA Games Awards

Last but definitely not least, last week As Dusk Falls was awarded not one but TWO awards at MCV/Develop Awards ceremony - Narrative Innovation of the Year and Accessibility Innovation of the Year! We’re still pinching ourselves!

It’s been a surreal year for As Dusk Falls and us here at INTERIOR/NIGHT so THANK YOU - we are incredibly bowled over by all the support and love for our first game 💛
