Changelog (1.0.3):
- Fixed the resolution screen in the options menu - should correctly display the refresh rate now;
- Added quality preset setting in the options menu;
- Content update: World 1 hub area now includes an additional passageway in the lower part;
- New helmets! A selection of one more helmet style has been added;
- Fixed the World 2 helmets appearing in World 1 levels;
- Small sprite rendering and arrow pointing fixes in World 1 levels.

Hello pizza delivery enthusiasts! For our last devlog entry before the release, we’d like to talk about the world of Costa’s Classic Comsic Pizzas, the enemies and the heroes of the story.
First, the enemies.
During your pizza delivery adventures, you will encounter different characters that will try and stop you from achieving your goal. The Pizza Haters, for example, are the acolytes of the Pizza Hater Church and see pizza as an inferior and downright sinful form of nourishment. At first you will encounter their missionary corps, armed with a book and a sharp word, but towards the end of the game more advanced and more armed units will oppose you. Will you withstand their zeal and finish your job on time?
Speaking of jobs, you also have competition that likes to play it rough. Oober Consumes Drones are armed and ready to shoot anyone or anything that breaks their monopoly in the market. While at first they seem scary and uncompromising, a seasoned pizza deliverer will learn how to outsmart them. Can you?
A wide variety of corporate enemies will also try to make your life difficult, from exploding robots to rocket launcher-wielding marketing staff, as well as ancient ritual cultists. Are you going to rise up to the challenge?
Now, the heroes.
Taking your humble beginnings on the Omnicluster, the mostly derelict space-station-turned-megacity, journey through the galaxy in three distinct chapters. To help you with that, you have Costa, the pizza chef and SOF-e, the Sentient Oven Furnace, who will guide you with wise words of (mostly) encouragement. Meet a wide cast of troublesome sidekicks and would-be heroes along the way, of dubious skills and moral principles.
If you feel like the main story isn’t fulfilling enough, then don’t fret! Most of the levels include Side Hustles, little secondary missions that score you some cash and oxygen and give some background information on how the world around you works. Clean rubbish, extort loan payments, witness a robot rebellion, the possibilities are nearly limitless!
Lastly, for those of you that seek replayability we’ve prepared a set of scored levels. Each chapter has its own unique set of challenges, whether it’s a free delivery mode, an obstacle course, or a lab puzzle segment. Compete in these and get your name immortalized in the local Pizza Hall of Fame!
With this, we would like to conclude our game development logs and thank you for sticking around! We’re delighted to share that the game has gone gold and will be released really soon. Last time we talked about the general gist of the game. This time let's delve into more detail about the tools and mechanics of Costa's Classic Cosmic Pizzas.
First of all, the helmets! Express yourself with a wide range of different helmets that you can buy at the in-game helmet vending machine. Different colours and shapes available. Some of them might be needed to pass certain obstacles in-game.
If you are in need of a temporary boost, the game’s power-up system is here to help. For a fair price of 1 coin, the Caca-Thola and the Pepe-Thola vending machines will give out a can of fast run or high jump that may be needed to pass a certain segment in the level. Seeming how these drinks are high in sugar, keep an eye out for your Blood Sugar Level, if it gets too high you may contract diabetes.
Garlic bread is a hot new tool that allows passing difficult sections of the game with ease. If you have one available in your inventory, you can set a shrine that you will be returned to should an unfortunate accident occur. The best part, the shrine stays there until you pick up your next pizza delivery, allowing for multiple retries.
Lastly, another mechanic that has not been seen in the public beta is the Organ Vending Machine. It allows for a permanent organ upgrade for the pizza delivery person. Each organ expands on the character’s original capabilities. So if you feel like a particular challenge is too much, try investing in a specific organ.
Overall, we want to create an unusual and fun experience for the player through interaction with a quirky and sometimes satirical world. Pretty early in the development it was decided not to include any weaponry for the player to use. You have to rely only on your bare skills, junk and junk food you pick up.

Hello pizza delivery enthusiasts and those eager to join them! We are starting a short series of devlogs that talk about the game and highlight design choices and anticipated experience.
For those of you that just joined, the game is a 2D-platformer centered on pizza delivery in space. You, as a pizza delivery person are tasked to pick up the pizza bag and deliver it at a designated location while avoiding traps and enemies through your quick wit and agility.
Go back to the good old days when 2D platformers were the best thing ever because 3D shooters were either buggy as hell, or Doom (but you finished it, like, 50 times already). The game immerses you in the world full of social satire, politically charged comments, and other dry humour that can be barely justified as dad jokes.
In a not-so-distant future, when living on a derelict space station in the orbit of a dead planet seems like a sweet deal, one person will rise to the occasion, travel the galaxy, and defeat the ultimate evil! Funny enough, you will play as that one person.
Traverse the world filled with killer robots, anti-pizza cults, physics-defying teleports and cannons, sugar-infused power-up drinks, surgically implanted organs, magical garlic bread, and a guy in a wizard hat who just wants to be heard!
