We’re excited to share our tenth major update, packed with new ways to make your cities shine, plus a complete visual overhaul for the Duchy faction. This update includes a brand new Decoration System, a redesigned Duchy, and a challenging new Apocalyptic Map.
Apocalyptic is a brutal survival run. The land is blighted, fertility is low, sickness is a constant threat, and trade has collapsed. Can you survive in this harsh new world?
Unlock new decorative sets as you play, and turn plain streets into picture perfect scenes with the new Decoration System with over 200+ decorations.

Since many players start with the Duchy, we’ve given it a complete facelift. Every house, workshop, and monument has been redesigned with updated silhouettes and animations, improving readability across the board.

The original Duchy lives on as "Classic" a new, challenge-focused faction.

This update introduces exciting gameplay features to bring new challenges and greater depth to the experience. We’ve also given a vibrant redesign to the Emirates faction, with reimagined buildings and animations to enrich the faction’s aesthetics.
Renewable Energy and Pollution System!
Transition to renewable energy to keep pollution under control.
In the Industrial Age, fuel becomes essential for generating electricity to power all production buildings. However, relying on fuel can lead to pollution build-ups, harming citizens' health, happiness and reducing farm yields.
Skyscraper Offices
This building enhances productivity of all buildings. The more citizens it holds, the greater the bonus. Upgrade it to expand capacity and maximize its effects.
Reimagining of the Emirates faction
We’ve completely reimagined the Emirates faction, enriching each building with redesigned structures and animations that improve both clarity and aesthetics.
The Emirates faction now gains instant visibility of all Oil nodes on the map and also has exclusive access to the Advanced Oil Rig building, establishing fuel advantages over other factions.

We are thrilled to announce the release of our eighth major update for Kingdoms Reborn.
This update completely overhauls the game's user interface (UI). We’ve redesigned the UI to be more engaging, and visually stunning. Dive into Kingdoms Reborn and enjoy the dynamic new look!
We have added the victory screen. Now, when you win, your citizens will cheer and celebrate your success, honoring your hard-fought journey and achievements. This addition not only highlights your accomplishments but also provides a satisfying conclusion to all your efforts, making the endgame experience more rewarding and memorable.
We're also pleased to introduce key bindings as part of this update. This feature allows you to customize your controls to better fit your playstyle, making the game more accessible and enjoyable. Head over to the game settings menu to personalize your controls and enhance your experience in Kingdoms Reborn.
The game HUD visuals have been polished. We reworked the UI backgrounds, and motifs to improve immersion.
We’ve revamped the in-game graphs with a fresh new design, improving its visuals and functionality. Players can now hover over the graph lines to see exact values, making it easier to analyze information and make better decisions and strategies.
Our tutorial book has been completely revamped for a cleaner and easier-to-read experience. The redesigned layout ensures a seamless flow of information, making it intuitive for new players to quickly navigate and understand the game. Each section provides clear and concise information so that newcomers can easily grasp the game's mechanics
We’ve introduced animations to some parts of the UI. These animations not only enhance the visual appeal but also make interacting with the game more fun and enjoyable.
Optimizations

Optimized citizen simulation for better late-game performance.
Fixed bugs causing lag before 1000 citizens, letting you focus on strategy and growth without performance issues as your kingdom expands.

Norsemen Faction
Play as the brand new Viking-inspired faction.
These resourceful craftsmen hail from the northern lands and bring with them their own unique survival skills for the snowy, bitter boreal wilderness.

After countless refining and beta testing, we are proud to announce our second major update.
We've been told you'd like to see a brand-new culture, fresh gameplay styles, more multiplayer interactions, expanded global resources, quality of life improvements, and yes, some military actions — Now here they are!

New faction: “The Emirates”

Distinct in-game design and animation.
Master traders: -20% trading fee.
Oasis builders: Able to use Sand to construct buildings, but suffers from -50% wood-cutting yield.
Desert-born: Starts with Sheep Ranch instead of Forester. Miner’s Fortune replaces Wheat Seeds as a Starting Card option. Has access to techs and buildings adapted to desert living.
Balance: Default faction (The Duchies) gets a +5% research speed bonus.
Expanded interactions with other players

Conquer: Vassalize, Raid, Raze or Conquer enemies. Plunder other countries’ riches to make your nation wealthy at their expense.
Disrupt: Build Spy Nests and Spy Centers to steal resources and kidnap foreign citizens.
Cooperate: Enjoy mutual bonuses with allies by building Embassies, Foreign Quarters, and Hotels in their territory. Build Caravansaries to enhance trade routes.
City states: Neutral, single-province cities are now scattered throughout the map.
Smarter AI: Better city planning, less likely to die off, and faster at growing their economies. The AI now progresses through the eras like players.
Customize your leader: Choose between different factions, colors, icons, and portraits.
Introducing military gameplay

Command 17 unique units from 6 branches of your military, each with its own strategic advantages.
Garrison military units to decrease Steal Card effectiveness.
Build Forts to protect your provinces from raiding.
More global resources & improvements

Fertility: Oasis, Irrigation Pump.
Food: Pita Bread, Cactus Fruits, Agave, Spices.
Luxury: Dates, Tequila, Toilet Paper, Carpets.
Animals: Roaming animals can be captured, traded, and displayed in zoos for bonuses.
Ancient Wonders: 4 unique wonders to discover and claim as your own. Provinces with an Ancient Wonder benefit from an increase in Appeal, province income and Hotel effectiveness.
Artifacts: Raid Ruins and Ancient Wonders for Artifacts to display in Museums for bonuses.
Card Buildings: Zoo, Museum, Card Combiner.
Influence-based buildings: Manipulate global commodity prices with the World Trade Office and get city-wide bonuses with a Policy Office.
Quality of life: Non-Rectangular Farms, Centralized Auto-Trade Screen.

Animals: Roaming animals can be captured, collected in zoos for bonuses, and traded.
Ancient Wonders: 4 unique wonders to claim. Grant bonus appeal, province income, and increase hotel effectiveness. Contain more artifacts than ruins. Place in museums for bonuses.
Card Buildings: Zoo, Museum, Card Combiner
Influence-based buildings: World Trade Office, Policy Office, Resource Outpost
Quality-of-life: Non-rectangular farm, centralized auto-trade screen

Hi everyone. First, to you in the community who provided us with valuable feedback, thank you!
In the upcoming major update, we want to encourage more diverse playstyles and improve late-game gameplay. There are 2 major themes in this upgrade:

Interacting with the outside world
Introducing a new faction
Interacting with the outside world
"Beyond the Border" will entice you to interact more with the outside world beyond your own domain (whether with the environment, AI players, or your friends). Now reaching beyond your border could reward you with the strategic boosts you needed to win the game, or cost you if you ignore it.
Cooperate

Embassy: build on an ally's territory, if they like you, to gain bonus effects.
Zoo: collect animals, then trade with others to gain happiness.
Hotel: generate income for you from tourism while increasing happiness for your allies.
Ancient Ruins: boost nearby hotels. May find artifacts from excavations.
Museum: collect and trade artifacts with allies for further boosts.
Compete

Spy Nest: convert a rival’s house into your hidden Spy Nest. Boost your espionage effectiveness.
Spy Center: boost your espionage effectiveness.
Fortification: stall rival invasion attempts by building it at strategic bottlenecks.
Minor neutral cities
More opportunities to trade, collect tribute, or conquer if they are in your way.
Introducing a new faction
Now there are more incentives to start your settlement in a desert.
The new Arab-inspired faction
Reinvent your gameplay strategies with the faction's unique buildings (e.g. the Caravansary, Mosque, the Bathhouse) and bonuses. Conversely, some of the favorite buildings you heavily relied on will no longer be available for this faction.

Irrigation: Improve soil fertility by building pumps and ditches.
Oasis: a natural feature that fertilizes the surrounding desert area.

Centralized trading screen: no more micromanaging of individual Trading Companies!
