Welcome to V2.4!

The powerful Hydra, Jhiik, has been imprisoned deep within the Grove, and bound to him a special Tome belonging to Master Yeiyu. The final goal of the Mystics is to retrieve this Tome, and thus establish their foothold in the Grove.
This is the final major update to the game, penultimate to the next update which will contain the hardest area in the game.
Here is a list of all the new content in this update:

14 new maps
Each map is uniquely designed to deploy 2 or more elemental factions within it. As compared to the original map designs, which showcased just a singular element to fight, these maps increase the difficulty and require more of your knowledge and understanding of the game's mechanics.

As you explore, you will encounter locked gateways. These gateways require the souls of minibosses slain within the Imprisonment in order to open, manifested as keys.

22 New Bosses

A myriad of new bosses lurk within the labyrinth of new maps. Each exhibit unique mechanics and spells befitting a combination of elements, similar to the designs behind the maps.

Face Jhiik, the Hydra
The final boss of the game, Jhiik the Hydra, lies at the very end of the Imprisonment. He is being kept and bound by the 8 Tomes of the Grove, requiring either Tome or Spirit to unseal.

While you can acquire the Tomes within the prior maps of the Grove, should you be unable to acquire some or all of them, you may instead fight their Spirit form within the Imprisonment. The choice is yours, but know slaying the Spirit has consequences.

Once Jhiik is unsealed, he may be fought. The final boss is an incredibly difficult 4-phase fight, with each phase getting more and more insane than the last. Utilize your allies you've aided throughout your journey in this fight of insane proportions.
New Class: Master

Once Jhiik is slain, the Master Tome is now yours. And with it, the ability to deploy a Master.
Masters are the most powerful playable unit in the game. They have 3x the stats of their Apprentice counterparts, can cast MultiCast spells by themselves, and grow in strength the less health they have. They are a very fun class to play around with, and perhaps necessary for the next and final challenge...

The Final Updates Before Full Release
With Jhiik's Imprisonment finished, the last critical area of the game is complete. This update was unfortunately off of my original estimate of about 6 months, but the sheer amount of new content should remedy that. During testing I was at around 9-10 hours playtime to finish the new content in its entirety.
As for the next and final update before Fragment's Moonrise leaves Early Access and enters into Full Release, there will be a variety of new replayability features.
The first of which, the hardest and most challenging Map in the game: Rel's Despair. This was hinted at back in the Nightforest update, and will be apart of the Full Release update.
Next, I'll be looking into the challenges behind implementing Translations. This has been a long requested feature. There is an insane amount of dialogue in this game that would need to be reprogrammed to pull translations, so we will see what I am able to accomplish.
After that, I've been conceptualizing two replayability features that could be fun to implement. The first, a Randomizer. This is a classic replayability feature that exists in many other games, and being able to implement it directly into Fragment's Moonrise could be a fun feature. At its core, the randomizer should be capable of randomizing what enemies spawn. Advanced logic could include spell unlocks, unit unlocks, bosses, and maps. Very advanced logic could include customized spells, enemies, and bosses.
The second replayability feature takes advantage of the Twisting Forest environment in the game. This mode would be a Roguelike mode, where the player starts their journey at the beginning of the Twisting Forest, and randomizes the unlocks and other things as they advance. I think this could be a fun supplementary mode to the Randomizer, and I am considering releasing this mode as a standalone free-to-play game should it function well.
I'm looking at an approximate end of year release.

Lurking within the Rainforest is a nomadic hunter of dragons, a being known only by its race: Naryik. The Naryik are a mysterious and evil derivative of the Mystic race, incredibly powerful and completely hostile to the Mystics as a whole.
Defeating this Naryik, however, will grant the player access to a new series of incredibly powerful spells known as Elite Spells. While none have yet to be implemented, they are under planning and design, so expect to see them once all of the Elemental Apprentice classes have been added. Elite Spells will cost 1 Scripture each in order to unlock, and are as powerful as Multi-Cast spells while still being single-cast.
