PARTICLES
Added smoke particles to grill when cooking meat
Added white explosion particles when completing the right order
Added drink splash particles when pouring soda
ART
Revamped outlines to be black instead of dark blue
Slightly changed drink machine to look more clean
Changed NPC outlines to black and fixed Janet's jacket with the lone pixel
New animation for the trash can
FEATURES
New indicators to make the drink machine more intuitive
Players are told why they get their orders wrong
Added Steam Rich Presence, currently only for The Grid (2v2)
BUG FIXES
Changed The Grid's lobby to function correctly after leaving, but there still may be some bugs present

Hey everyone! I am so excited to share with you all the newest update that I recently developed, known as the grid! It's a new 2v2 co-op game mode that will be available to everyone. Hopefully you all can try it out soon with your friends!
THE GRID
What is The Grid?
The grid is a new multiplayer game mode where there are two teams (red & blue)
Both teams are trying to finish the grid of orders the fastest
You need to complete all 25 orders with your teammate to win
All orders on the grid require a drink (remember to serve drinks!)
How do I play The Grid?
Right now, you only need to find 3 other friends to join your lobby
You can easily host one in the main menu by clicking on "The Grid" in the "Play" page
The first two people who join your lobby are automatically in Team Red, and the other two are Team Blue. (Most likely will be changed so players can choose their own teams)
Do I need friends to play?
As of now, lobbies can only be joined through Steam from your friends list.
You need four people total (including yourself) to play
There is no currently no random matchmaking, but this feature may be added in future updates
BUG FIXES
Fixed bug where you could spawn two cups using the red drink button
Fixed bug where clicking the red cup slot would not work
Fixed bug where the "Saucy" achievement would not be given to players (now you will also get the achievement if you already unlocked it previously)
Fixed bug where spamming the grill would produce more meats than usual
Fixed bug where you can cook invisible meats
Fixed bug where the transition would appear from the right side instead of the left
Fixed bug where you could click the order paper after you clicked the bell
Fixed bug where you couldn't open the paper the next day
Fixed bug where new food order notification would not show up
Fixed bug where new drink notification would not show up
NEW FEATURES
Added a settings page to adjust music & sound effects volume
Reformatted main menu
Pressing "New Game" will warn you if you already had a save file
Changed certain sound effects for some buttons
Revamped UI so that buttons may be more responsive

Fixed duplicate sound for placing buns
Fixed bug where two cups could be instantiated in the scene
Fixed bug where sauces would disappear after loading the game, even after unlocking it
NEW CHARACTER
Added a new NPC: Janet! (appears every 5th day)
She’s hosting a party and needs burgers
Will pay 2x the amount
However, wrong orders will deduct 2x the amount as well
OVERALL UI CHANGES
Added fill to font (looks way better now)
Updated main menu buttons to be consistent with font
Updated main menu background
New sound effects to the shop screen
SHOP CHANGES
Entirely revamped shop
New shop page menu with 3 main sub-pages
1. Upgrade Ingredients
Upgrade the basic ingredients to earn more coins
$2000: Lettuce, Tomatoes, Cheese
$3000: Meat (since it gives more coins)
White star icon shows in the kitchen when you upgrade it
2. Unlock Ingredients
Still have your classic Ketchup & Mustard
Balance Change, price from $3000 to $4000
More unlockable ingredients will be available in future updates
3. Colors
Change the color of the kitchen’s tabletop!
Preview the changes in the shop as well
$1000: Red, Orange, Yellow
$1500: Green, Blue, Purple
$2000: Pink, Black
OTHER IMPORTANT CHANGES

New icons for each result
You can skip the dialogue now
Sam (the critic) appears every 5th day from day 3 (3, 8, 13…)
Janet (new character) appears every 5th day (5, 10, 15…)
