In this full motion video mystery adventure you are part of a group that specializes in processing digital footprints of deceased people - all on behalf of the relatives. What at first seems to be a job like any other quickly develops into a dark drama with twists and turns. All you need is your laptop and some basic background info about the “victim” – in this case it’s all about Jessika. Access her database and browse her files by typing different search terms. These will give you access to video clips, audio files, notes, and news articles. Share those with the client and your colleagues to dig even deeper. Use your savvy and combine the facts to unfold the true story of Jessika.

Please be aware that we have prepared a small update, including some bugfixes and adjustments based on the feedback we have received since release. Find all details below:
Fixes
Terminal: The terminal got stuck and cannot receive any more input.
Chat: Reply window got stuck and covers the chat.
Decrypter: UI elements where displayed outside its window.
E-Mails: Wrong date and time were displayed.
Help: Text was cut off and file icons were not positioned correctly next to its texts.
Adjustments/Additions
Glitch: Glitch volume on video was too loud.
Glitch: Overall weh ave reduced the amount of glitches.
Tags: Some tags were not showing results in a different language e.g. when entering "Blut" -> "Blood".
Conversations: Certain conversations are dependent on each other and only triggered, after the dependency has been triggered, and not showing up before.
Subtitles: Subtitles now stay open once you open them.
Slight amendments to the game's ending:Without any spoilers: Based on player feedback, we have made small amendments to the ending of Jessika.
Added some new Tags: Additionally, we added some more tags, based on player feedback.

Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer TriTrie Games are delighted to announce that their investigative full-motion video (FMV) game Jessika will be available today, at 3pm CEST, on Windows PC, Mac, and Linux on Steam. Jessika is a gripping tale of loss, mysterious circumstances surrounding the titular character’s apparent suicide, and the lengths one will go to cover their mistakes. Convinced of foul play, Jessika’s father has hired a private investigator to probe into his daughter’s suspicious suicide. Armed with only a laptop and an unrelenting determination to unearth the truth, players must dig through the victim’s extensive digital footprint to locate video files, audio clips, notes, and more, all of which piece together the tangled series of unfortunate events that led to her untimely demise.
“Jessika is a game that we’ve really fallen for,” said Assemble Entertainment CEO Stefan Marcinek. “It is unlike anything else in our roster and perhaps one of the most compelling stories of the human condition. You won’t be able to help yourself from getting completely entangled in the story of Jessika.”
