We prepared a little something as Sabotage reaches the end of a journey that has spanned more than seven years with Sea of Stars.

SEA OF STARS: SUNSET EDITION
The Sunset Edition will be the last content update for Sea of Stars. The main thing it brings to the game is a new cinematic intro, our highest budget one yet, which puts faces on heroes from the past known until now only by name. It tells the story of the tragedy they went through, and sets the stage for the adventure to come.
It's right at the start of the game, so even if you've already completed Sea of Stars, you can check it out simply by starting a new game!
Bringing these heroes to life allowed us to expand a key flashback later in the game with extra sprite-based storytelling.
We also revisited the balancing for Normal and Hard modes. Splitting the attributes of the Tactician’s Mettle relic into two separate relics (Tactician’s Mettle and Ray of Sunset) enables a “Normal” experience that demands more grit.
We want to use this occasion to thank you all one last time for the amazing journey that Sea of Stars has been for us.
As we turn to newer seasons, rest assured that pre-production for “Project Sparrow” has been underway in parallel for more than a year now, and that we recently officially entered production.
It’s too soon to reveal anything more about it yet, but let’s just say that we’ve never been as excited by a project at this stage in ten years of Sabotage.
