3/22/2024: Implemented Post-case materials for each scenario in The 4th Floor casefile which is accessible after aceing the case file. Added an introductory text at the beginning to better inform players of the nature of the game. Changed the Grading system so players pass the ex

Implemented Post-case materials for each scenario in The 4th Floor casefile which is accessible after aceing the case file.
Added an introductory text at the beginning to better inform players of the nature of the game.
Changed the Grading system so players pass the exam with a grade of A to coincide with the addition of the post-case materials.
Added/tweaked clues in the game's last casefile,' Hughes Manor Feud ', to improve players' investigative experience. Additionally, introduced an extra question to further assist players in their investigation process.
Improved object rotation and implemented a supplementary method utilizing the WASD keys.
Improved/fixed text for French, German, Spain Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean for all case files.
Removed numbers on the side of the Phone/Computer UI to avoid misunderstandings and provide a smoother game experience.
Implemented a warning during key bind customization when players choose a key already in use.
Implemented an automatic save when players load the Preliminary Trial at the start of the game.
Fixed other minor bugs

Implemented 'Case File Report' which can be unlocked when players aced the respective case file. This is a summary of how the crime played out and allows players to cross check their hypothesis of the crime scene.
Implemented 'Game Mode'. Players will be able to choose between Assisted Mode and Detective Mode. Assisted mode inform players whether their submitted answers are correct or incorrect. Detective Mode is the current default mode of the game where no help is provided.
Implemented player-submitted results when selecting 'The 4th Floor' and 'Missing' scenarios. Players can now view the results for each individual scenario respectively.
Controller input for answers should be fixed, if you are still having issues with your answers not being registered while using a controller/steam deck please send us an email with information about your peripherals to "[email protected]."
Other small bugs.
Fixed Japanese language text for Bloodbath. Fixed Korean language text for all case files. Fixed Brazilian Portuguese language text for the game A.I.
We will update the "previousversion" build to the Dec 8, build in 7 days, so that those who are facing any issues can test to see if they are resolved.

The grading system was reworked. To become a licensed investigator, you must have a B or higher for the overall grade.
Rearranged case file order.
Added info on the difficulty of each case file.
Improved UI at the bottom of the screen during gameplay.
Locked cursor into the window. This should stop players with multiple monitors from facing issues with the cursor going out of the game window.
Other small bugs.
Fixes to the Japanese language localization.
We will update the "previousversion" build to the Nov. 20st build in 7 days, so that those who are facing any issues can test to see if they are resolved.

Fixed an issue that were causing players to have issues when facing the "Press any key to continue" prompt. Please let us know if you run into this issue after the patch via email, we weren't able to reproduce the bug on our side, but the problem should be fixed in theory.
Fixed an issue where clicking on an object too fast while trying to inspect would cause that item to get stuck on your screen.
Disabled interacting while in the crouching animation to stop certain camera issues.
Other small bugs.
We will update the "previousversion" build to the Nov. 13st build in 7 days, so that those who are facing any issues can test to see if they are resolved.

Hi everyone! It has been about two weeks since the release of Scene Investigators and we are thankful for those who have supported us throughout this process. The community has given us a lot of feedback since then. We've listened to them and have decided to improve Scene Investi
Hi everyone!
It has been about two weeks since the release of Scene Investigators and we are thankful for those who have supported us throughout this process. The community has given us a lot of feedback since then. We've listened to them and have decided to improve Scene Investigators.
The following contains a list of things that are part of our to-do list, though in no particular order.

Tone down the difficulty level of the 'Preliminary Trial' slightly.
Include more information about each case file during their selection window, such as difficulty level, so players can have some sort of expectation going into it.
Rearrange the order in which the case files are presented.
Provide a synopsis for all case files and its scenarios so there's an understanding of the crime scene for the players.
Provide 2 different game modes for different type of players: a 'normal mode' that provides indication for correct and wrong answers, and a 'hard mode' without any hand-holding which the game currently employs.
Improve the overall audio and BGMs.
Add more narrative and provide additional clues to 'Hughes Manor Feud', so it makes more sense when solving it.
Fix Japanese and Korean translation errors.
Fix in-game notepad bugs for a better user experience.
Provide 'clue' trees for those who have aced the case files so they can compare their deductions and reasonings.
The above list will take some time but the team is already working on it. In addition, we will continue to fix bugs found by players that cannot be recreated on our side, provide technical support, and continue monitoring all threads and reviews posted on Steam.

Fixed Camera issues with native ultrawide resolutions.
Added Skip buttons to some parts of the intro.
Fixed Video Issues on certain devices (not Steam deck). Hoping that this fixes certain crashes that players were having when loading the Preliminary Trial, keep us updated.
Fixed game freezing on [ESC] on certain phones.
