We're proud to announce that the full Original Soundtrack for Rock of Ages 3 is available for free to anyone that purchased the game. The awesome compilation not only features the versions with Rock instrumentation, but now also includes the full list with Symphonic / Orchestrated instruments / arrangements. It’s basically two different discs in case you prefer one style or the other.
On this occasion we’ve also made sure to feature the content in two separate formats; the regular OST which features all the files in mp3 (smaller download), and a higher quality version in FLAC lossless format (bigger download), for those who want the audio in the best possible form.

Notes on the new level by the author (Carlos Bordeu - ACE Team):
The original map, while interesting with the cannons, was showing very little of the new content of RoA3, felt too large for an introductory map, and was more in the style of an Obstacle Race. I designed the map with the War game mode in mind, giving the level a couple of shortcuts, some alternate paths, and some interesting areas where Mines are placed - but always keeping things simple (it is the first War map after all). I also designed the level to have several areas with steps - something I feel that breaks from the monotony of simple paths. All this was done with the editor which definitely allows for endless options. Looking forward to diving into it again.
We hope everyone enjoys this update and stay tuned for more content coming soon.

Whether this is your introduction to the series or its triumphant return, Rock of Ages 3 is the biggest and bouldest entry yet, and I’m here to walk you through everything you can make and break today!
What is Rock of Ages?
Rock of Ages is a blend of tower defense strategy, arcade action, and competitive racing wrapped up in one giant destructive bundle. Players control a multitude of different boulders as they storm the opponent’s stronghold, while simultaneously placing a variety of defenses, traps, and structures to defend your own castle from siege.
When you’re done busting down castle doors, there are five more skill-based game modes for you to challenge progressively more difficult computer-controlled opponents or other players in online and local multiplayer.
The MAKE Mode
In a series first, ACE Team is giving players the tools they need to create their own wacky courses, share online, and play them with others. This easy-to-use level editor supports all the different game modes and boulders, and you can download and play the variety of courses made by the community.
The BREAK Mode
When you are done making your levels it’s time to break everyone else’s! Rock of Ages 3 features the longest campaign in the series to date, chock full of ACE Team’s quirky, Monty Python-esque humor. The story will take players through Elpenor’s journey, the lesser-known companion of Odysseus as he wanders through time with the titular “Rock of Ages”, a sentient boulder who will battle famous and infamous figures throughout history in frantic boss battles across 60+ levels.
Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break is the result of over eight years of development, refinement, and fun rolled up into one package – and with the addition of the robust course creator and the ability to share your creations with the community, the gameplay possibilities are limitless. Pick it up today!
We have spent the last several blogs discussing the all of the ways you will be able to break things in Rock of Ages 3, from the new boulders that will be available to the new ways you will be able to defend your castle from incoming boulders. But it’s called Rock of Ages 3: MAKE
We have spent the last several blogs discussing the all of the ways you will be able to break things in Rock of Ages 3, from the new boulders that will be available to the new ways you will be able to defend your castle from incoming boulders. But it’s called Rock of Ages 3: MAKE & Break, and we haven’t spent enough time talking showing you how you will be able to make amazing custom courses!
But before we get into, check out some these amazing community created courses from the Rock of Ages 3 open beta!
All of these courses were created using Rock of Ages 3’s brand new custom course creator that allows you to bring your wildest ideas for Rock of Ages courses to life!
Create Your Course:
First, you will need to select the game mode. You can create custom courses across the various game modes in Rock of Ages 3, including War, Obstacle Course, and the brand new Humpty Dumpty mode. Read about all the new game modes coming to Rock of Ages 3 here.
After selecting your game mode, it’s time to start creating your course. Your track is the heart and soul of your custom course, so laying the path of destruction from the starting line to the castle doors is definitely the place to start! In the course creator, you have full control over the height, pitch, width, and length of your track. Additionally, players have the ability to add jumps and steep drops.
Once you lay the track, you can add defensive units to thwart your attacker’s attempt to siege your castle doors! Build walls, strategically place canons, and take advantage of all the new defensive units.
Choose Your Theme
From there, you can add theme related obstacles to your course, like statues, trimmed horse hedges, pottery, and, of course, giant mounds of spaghetti. Here are the available themes:
Wonderland
Tenochtitlan
Switzerland
Rome
Moscow
Planet of the Monkeys
Mongol Empire
India
France
Cyclopean Isles
Spaghettiland
English Channel
China Sea
Share Your Course
Once you have created your course, it’s time to share it to the world! When you publish your course, it will immediately become available for other Rock of Ages 3 players to play by going to the Break -> Community Levels section of the menu and choosing your course. Players can search by game type and creator code. Your creator code is a unique code assigned to your course that can be shared with friends so that they can easily find your new creation!
